I just knew there was going to be a twist... This is sort of like A Christmas Carol with Jacob Marley seeing his life in the future if he stays the miser he is.... The other choice has to be with Jan alive, right???

Chapter 5

ST. LUKE'S
There are a number of people sitting in the pews. All are dressed in black. In the front row are Shawn-D and Jan. Jan is crying and Shawn-D has his arm around her. Father Jansen is giving a sermon. We can't hear any of the words, but we can imagine what he might be saying.

THE LOFT
It is now a few days later. Shawn-D is sitting on the couch. Jan walks in.
JAN: She's not in her crib.
SHAWN-D: What?
JAN: Shauna. She's not in her crib.
SHAWN-D: Of ourse she's not.
JAN: Why isn't she in her crib?
SHAWN-D: What are you talking about?
JAN: Shawn, why isn't Shauna in her crib?
Shawn-D stared at Jan.
SHAWN-D: Are you all right?
JAN: Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?
SHAWN-D: You seem kind of...different.
JAN: What do you mean?
SHAWN-D: There's something about you that's not quite right.
JAN: I don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, I'm going to go wake up Shauna from her nap now. It's time for her to have lunch.
Jan walked upstairs.
SHAWN-D: But, Jan, Shauna's...
Jan ignored him and continued walking upstairs. Shawn-D got out his cell phone and dialed a number.
SHAWN-D: Dr. Evans, this is Shawn. Can you come to the loft, please? I think there's something wrong with Jan.

I wonder if Shauna is the one who died in this choice. Great story Andre. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow. That is every parents nightmare choice. Between yourself and your child.

OMG, that was the choice. Either she dies or her child.. This is so tragic Poor Jan! But she made the wrong choice as she will be devastated by this. She may even wind up back in the mental hospital as this could just set her back.

Wow. I don't like this choice. No parent should have to chose like this. I did like the Belle and Shown together again choice A. Thanks for the chapter Andre. Waiting to see what happens next. Previews Please.

Okay the choices are... Jan stays dead and Shawn D remarries Belle or Jan lives and their baby dies and Jan hasn't accepted that fact...

Hate to say it, but I kinda pity Jan at the moment.

Me too. A very hard situation to have to deal with. I would definitely stay dead. My children deserve to live their lives and have a chacne to live.
So awful to have to make that decision.

I don't think Jan knew her baby would die if she lived. That's why she is looking for her. I don't feel very good for Jan.
