I certainly hope she doesn't, melly, but I can see that happening, too, sadly. I hope they find Parker and Monica soon!

I'm not really happy with extra people knowing Monica is a person of interest. The quieter this is kept the better.
Chloe blaming Philip would be ridiculous. This was a long time ago and Monica was supposed to be out of their lives.

I hope they get a little further now with this new information Poor Parker likely doesn't know what's happening

I see Chloe blaming Philip for all of this as well.
I wonder - is this retaliation for Philip not returning Monica's feelings....or is this retaliation for sending her to work for another company in another state and she's not happy there?

I think Monica is just a smokescreen for someone else. I really hope that Chloe doesn't blame Philip though.

I doubt Chloe or Philip are thinking rationally right now so I won't be surprised if blame is thrown around.

Chapter 4d
Philip picked up his phone and accessed his contacts. He pressed a key and put the phone to his ear. “Edith? It’s Philip. I’m sorry to bother you in the middle of the night. … Oh, you heard. Good. Listen, remember Monica Frasier? … Right. The police need her personnel records. … No, we don’t know for sure. It’s just a lead right now. … Okay, email it to me as soon as you can, and keep this to yourself. Parker’s safety is at stake.” Philip clicked the end call key and addressed the officers. “She has her laptop at home and she’s going to log into the system and email the records to me so I can give them to you.”
“We’ll need to interview your HR director. You said Edith? What’s her last name?”
Philip hesitated. He glanced at Chloe. “Um Russell. Edith Russell.” He got up and walked to where Chloe was standing in the kitchen, bent over and laying her head on the marble countertop. He rubbed her back. “What are the next steps?”
“We’ll get a last known address on Monica Frasier as soon as we have her social security number from her employment record. Then we’ll find her and question her.”
Philip’s phone buzzed. He retrieved it from the tabletop. “Here’s the information.” Marsh took Philip’s phone. He typed his own email address into the “to” field and forwarded the information to himself.
Marsh and Rivera rose from their seats. Marsh handed Philip back his phone and said, “Whatever you do, don’t try contacting her on your own. Leave the police work to us.” Turning toward Chloe, he said, “We’ll be in touch.”
Philip walked to the door and closed it after the men left. He turned around to face Chloe who was glaring at him. She lifted her palms. “Don’t. Just don’t say a word. I don’t want to hear your voice and I don’t want to see your face.” She headed to the master bedroom and slammed the door.
Philip shut his eyes tightly. When he opened them, he looked at his phone in his hand and shook his head. “She’s right. It’s my fault,” he whispered. “I don’t care what the police say. I won’t just sit here and do nothing. I need to find him.” Philip scrolled to one of his contacts and hovered his finger over one of the listings. He tapped it and put the phone to his ear. “Pick up dammit.” He waited for the person on the other end to answer. When they did, he said, “It’s Philip.”

I'm guessing Philip is calling Victor or someone like Roman or Shane?
I hope Chloe goes to cool off and then returns a little less hostile....
Will there be previews, boss?

I hope Philip is calling Victor. I mean, I can't imagine George would be of much help in this situation. I knew it. I knew Chloe would blame Philip. Ugh. Will there be previews Kpatch?

Uh, no, it's not Philip's fault. I get that both of them are freaking out, as that's gotta be a horrible feeling, but Chloe shouldn't be blaming Philip. I wonder who he's calling. Can we please have previews, Kpatch?

Chloe is a worried mom yes but it's not right to blame Philip It's not his fault Monica is a kidnapper He's also hurting and blaming himself If she thinks turning on him is the way to cope than she has no idea how to be in a relationship and they probably shouldn't get married I hope victor is on the other end of that phone call I would think he'd be quicker results than any police department Thanks for the chapter and hopefully there will be previews

I can understand Chloe being worried and furious that Monica was the one that took him, but she needs to stop and think about it. Philip got Monica another job in another city. Philip is not the only one that allowed Monica to have interactions with Parker. No one knew that Monica was back in town or that she would kidnap the little boy.
I really hope that Philip doesn't go too far and ruin any chances of getting Parker back sooner rather than later.

Previews
Thanks for reading and commenting everyone. These are trying times for Philip and Chloe. Is it better or worse that someone they know is the one who has Parker?
Because you asked, here’s a little preview of what’s coming up this week…
…Philip makes a call. Is he defying police orders and calling Monica? Or is he calling someone else.
…Word about Parker’s kidnapping begins to spread, including to people Philip would rather not know.

Oh....surely he's not contacting Monica....that sounds like a recipe for disaster! I really hope he's calling in the big guns!
Thanks for the preview, boss!

It's better they know because it is a good starting point. They would nowhere to start with an unknown. I also believe Philip is calling Victor. Yep, calling in the marines before the siege begins.
