He is quickly becoming boring. All he does is mess with Rafe. When is the last time he was upstairs? If they don't start having him share some screen time with Chad, I'm ready for him to go... |

On yesterday's episode of days, Chloe was offered a really great job opportunity to work for an opera company in Seattle and she tells Philip that she can't take the job because she wants to stay in Salem to be a mom to Parker. After Chloe told Philip that she was turning down the job because she made a promise to Philip and Parker that she was not going anywhere, Philip looked really disappointed that Chloe was turning down this tremendous job offer because of him. Now that Philip knows that Melanie is going through with their divorce and that there is no chance of them getting back together and he also knows that Daniel has filed for divorce from Chloe, I have an idea on how Philip's exit story might play out. I think Philip is going to convince Chloe to take that job in Seattle and he will tell her that he will move with her there with Parker to start a new life and to put all the bad stuff from the last few months behind them. Thing is Philip will end up leaving to go to Seattle a few days before Chloe is supposed to leave so that he can find them a place to live and so that he can get settled in with his job before Chloe and Parker arrive and also so that Chloe can finish up some stuff in Salem she had left to do before she moved. However before Chloe has a chance to move to Seattle she will find out that something happened to Philip's plane that he was on and he will either be presumed dead or missing and Chloe will end up staying in Salem since Philip had full custody of Parker before his death or abduction and Victor will end up with custody of Parker and Chloe will have to fight Victor for custody of Parker.

That sounds very, very possible. Her and Victor going for custody of Parker would be intense.

Also I'm sure somehow Kate would end up being brought into this too and also it would definitely force Chloe to become more independent so that she can regain custody of Parker. I would rather have Philip end up being presumed dead or missing offscreen because it would be easier to leave the door open for Jay to return in the future if he decides he wants to take another crack at the role of Philip again. Plus I don't know about anyone else but I don't know if I could handle watching if the writers did kill off Philip on screen because it would be way too heartbreaking and emotional since I have a very emotional connection with the character of Philip on the show and if I knew that there was going to be a chance that Jay could never come back to days again if he didn't get another acting gig I would never be able to forgive Dena Highley for writing his exit like that. |

As much as I love Parker as Philip's and Chloe's child I would rather Philip NOT be killed, even if he has to find out that Parker is Dan's (wouldn't that throw a kink into bratty Abby's world?). I can live with him going to be Europe, or go hang out with Lucas, but not dead. I do NOT want to watch Philip's funeral.

Abby has been pushing her mom into Dr DoGoody's arm. If He ends up having a baby to take care of that might make her mom think twice. On the other hand, this is Jennifer, we're talking about. Forget I said anything.
