The idea for this thread comes from JaysDelina.
Three cast members are leaving between now and April 19th:
Mark Hapka (Nathan)
Shelley Hennig (Stephanie)
Jay Kenneth Johnson (Philip)
How would you write their exit stories?

Stephanie: Ya know Nathan, I lied when I said I still don't have feelings for you
Nathan: Steph, as much as I cared about Melanie, I did care for you too and I was willing to spend the rest of my life with you. It was your lying that made me leave and not Mel.
Steph: So since Mel has pushed you away for good, do ya think?
Nathan: I think we can give it a try. I am transfering to that job with Johns Hopkins.
Steph: I have to finish up a few things here, but I can meet up with you in a few weeks, It turns out Johns Hopkins also needs a new PR rep and it comes with a nice pay increase...
Nathan: Ya know Steph, I already feel good about this. I think we can make this work.
Steph: So do I Nathan, so do I
now as for Philip, I am still thinking...

That was my thoughts too. Just sending them to Baltimore to be together. I kind of thought that may happen but now I am just thinking that Nathan will go to John Hopkins and that Stephanie is going to visit with Kayla and Patch!
As for Philip, I am too heartbroken to even think about how they are going ot send him off!

sportsgirl - Bravo! That was perfect. I laughed at how Nathan (who is leaving the show first) goes on ahead and Stephanie follows a few weeks later.
As for Philip, well, you'll have to read kpatch fancreations in a couple weeks.

I am just thinking that Nathan will go to John Hopkins and that Stephanie is going to visit with Kayla and Patch! Another possibility... Alright, in the meanwhile I will also come up with one. I am floating an idea, just have not fully finished it yet. |

I say that Rafe 2 bombs the Brady pub, Nathan's in there because he went to get Mel a burger. Stephanie, Caroline and even Lexi are there. Lexi is the only suvivor. That's because I want to see Lexi and Dr Dan for a minute again...maybe that would even save Jenn. ;D ;D ;D
There is no exit story for Philip. He can just be like Kay and Steve and stop appearing onscreen until we figure he's taking care of Titan business in Japan so he can be with Lucas.

Titan Industries decides to go into the Publishing field and a new writer comes into town. Her name is Nancy Malone. Philip becomes her boss and they spend lots of time together, so much time that they fall in love... She gets a better offer to work for a firm in Paris but she can't leave him and Philip can't let her go, but he must let her career thrive.
So he decides he will go with her and she is SO happy. They leave together and Philip runs the Titan in Paris and she writes her highly successful novels and they have their own children & live happily ever after.

Here is how if i were the writer in charge of writing the exit stories for Philip, Nathan and Stephanie I would have the stories play out. PHILIP EXIT STORY Just as Philip and Chloe start to grow close to each other again and admit that they love each other and always have, Philip has to go on a business trip. Philip shares a heartfelt goodbye with Chloe and Parker and promises he will be back in a few days and tells Chloe that when he comes back he wants to talk about their future together as a family. Parker cries as Philip tries to hand him to Chloe because he doesn’t want Philip to leave. Philip and Chloe share a kiss right before Philip leaves for the airport. While Philip is on the plane on his way to wherever the business meeting is supposed to take place, the plane apparently crashes and a badly burned body is found with no way of identifying it with a charred picture of Parker next to it and the body is presumed to be Philip's. Meanwhile someone takes the real Philip who has been badly injured to a hospital where he is a coma but he can’t be identified since the stranger who helped Philip stole his wallet and the only thing found on Philip is a picture of him, Chloe and Parker together.
Back in Salem, everyone is devastated about the news about Philip especially Chloe and Parker. Chloe refuses to believe it is true. Parker misses his dad and won’t stop crying and so Chloe goes into Philip’s room with Parker to look for Parker’s favorite stuffed animal that Philip gave him and finds an engagement ring with a proposal for Chloe written out on top of his dresser next to Parker’s toy. Chloe reads the proposal which talks about being each other’s first loves and how he has always loved her and how he wants to be a family with her and Parker. Chloe looks at the same picture that was found with Philip that is sitting on his nightstand and sits on his bed and breaks down in tears while hugging Parker closely.
Downstairs at the mansion, Victor promises Maggie that he will help look after Chloe and Parker and make sure they are well taken care of because that is what Philip would have wanted. Kate and Stefano arrive at the mansion and Victor tells Kate about what happened to Philip and that she needs to set aside her hatred for Chloe and allow her to be a mother to Parker because Philip would want it that way. Kate agrees as long as she can be a part of Parker’s life.
At Daniel’s apartment, Melanie receives her final divorce papers that Philip signed in the mail and Brady arrives and tells her about Philip’s plane crash and they comfort each other.NATHAN EXIT STORY [/u][/center][/color] Nathan decides to leave Salem to go talk to his mom about who his real father is after watching a close moment between Daniel and Melanie. Nathan wants to find his father and tells Melanie that he wants to leave Salem for a while to find him and asks her to go with him in order to start a new life. Melanie tells Nathan that she is not ready right now to be with him because she is still trying to heal emotionally from her marriage ending and her miscarriage. Nathan tells Melanie he understands and they share an emotional goodbye where Nathan tells her he will give her the space she needs while he is gone looking for his dad and that he will be back in Salem after he finds him and see if Melanie is ready to have a future with him. Nathan leaves Salem.STEPHANIE EXIT STORY [/u][/center][/color] Stephanie decides she needs to get her life back on track so she leaves Salem to start a new life in London as a fashion model with Max and Chelsea. Stephanie shares an emotional goodbye with her family before she leaves and everyone wishes her good luck with her new life. |
