Chapter 207 ALAMAIN MANSION The lights came back on. CHAD: What happened? TONY: André happened. PHILIP: There was a gunshot and then... IVAN: Oh my god! Madame! Everyone looked. Ivan was kneeling over Vivian's body. There was blood coming from where the bullet had hit her. IVAN: Someone call an ambulance! Nicholas quickly got out his cell phone. NICHOLAS: I need an ambulance at the Alamain Mansion. That's 4930 Chestnut Street. We have a woman who has been shot. She's in her mid-70s. I believe she's losing blood. IVAN: Madame, you must hang on! You have to stay with us! NICHOLAS: Thank you. Nicholas hung up his phone. NICHOLAS: The ambulance is on its way. IVAN: It had better hurry! Moments later, the EMTs got to the door, took down some information, and put Vivian in the back of the ambulance. Ivan got in the ambulance with them. Then, they sped off. Nicholas was on the phone. NICHOLAS: I need her to come to Salem. Yes, as soon as you can. She's the only known living relative who matches Aunt Viv's blood type. No, Quinn died a few years ago. I don't know that for sure, but just in case she does, I want her to come. Okay, good. I understand. Thanks. MAGGIE: Nicholas, do you need a ride to the hospital? NICHOLAS: That would be very much appreciated, thank you. VICTOR: I'll have Henderson bring the car around. Just send him back once you've gotten there. NICHOLAS: Thank you, Victor. MAGGIE: I'll see you later. Victor and Maggie kissed, then she and Nicholas went outside. TONY: Now, as for André... Tony looked around, as did several others. But, André was nowhere to be seen. TONY: Did anyone see which way he went? CHAD: All the lights were off. It's unlikely. PHILIP: He must have made a run for it while we were all distracted. TONY: Well, then this will be an interesting night. ANNA: You're not actually thinking about going after him, are you? TONY: Anna, I have to. Whatever reason André came to the party, it was to cause trouble. For myself and everyone else. ANNA: Tony, come on. You're not the only one André has a vendetta against. VICTOR: Though I loathe the idea of agreeing with her, Anna is right. Your cousin is insane and will stop at nothing to destroy this whole town. TONY: All the more reason I have to stop him, then. ANNA: Well, then I'm coming with you. TONY: Anna... ANNA: No. No arguing. If you're so insistant on tracking down André, then I'm coming with you. TONY: Very well. But, we have to move quickly. Tony and Anna ran for the door. PHILIP: Are they insane? VICTOR: Yes, I believe they are. But André is even moreso than they are. CHAD: Oh, he is. By all accounts, and what I've seen tonight only corroborates this, André is criminally insane. He's the one you've got to be careful about. Victor and Philip nodded.

Great chapter André DiMera. I bet Vivian never expected this kind of welcome home....unless it is all a part of the grand plan. I sure wouldn't put it past Vivian and Andre to be in cahoots together.

I hope Vivian will be okay!
I guess Nicholas's daughter will be coming to town ahead of schedule.

I hope Vivian will be okay. Going after Andre isn't the smartest move. I guess leaving it up to the Salem PD isn't a good option.

Chapter 208 KIRIAKIS MANSION Philip, Victor and Maggie returned home a short while ago. Philip went upstairs. As he walked towards his room, he was stopped by Deimos. DEIMOS: Hello again, cousin. PHILIP: Deimos. DEIMOS: Thought you and Victor were going out tonight? PHILIP: Yes, we did. But there was a very abrupt end to our night out. DEIMOS: I see. Well, since you're in for the night, perhaps we can use this opportunity to get to know each other better. SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Nicholas and Ivan were sitting in the waiting room at the hospital. Nicholas' phone went off. NICHOLAS: I'll be right back. Nicholas walked into another room at answered his phone. NICHOLAS: Hello? Yeah, I'm at the hospital right now. No word, not yet anyway. I really don't know. Yes, I am well aware of that. Look, I was going to have her come to Salem eventually, anyway. If the worst comes to the worst...don't be like that. You've gotten her most of her life. I was only allowed holidays, it's my turn now. That was not my decision, and you know it. You made that decision for me. Good. I'll see her tomorrow night, then. Great. Thanks. Nicholas hung up and shook his head as he walked back into the waiting room. NICHOLAS: That woman is impossible. IVAN: I take it you are speaking of the former Mrs. Alamain? NICHOLAS: You guess correctly, Ivan. Thankfully, I am never making the mistake of trusting that woman again. IVAN: Have you finally made a decision about young miss Beatrix? Nicholas nodded. NICHOLAS: I pick her up tomorrow night. After a moment, Tommy walked into the room. Both Nicholas and Ivan walked towards him. NICHOLAS: Dr. Horton. IVAN: Do you have any news about madame? TOMMY: Vivian will survive. She did lose a lot of blood, but we're taking care of that just now. She will have to stay here for, at the very least, few days, likely longer. It looks like the bullet bruised a nerve in her right leg. We need to assess exactly how much damage has been done. IVAN: Is that all? TOMMY: Until we know exactly what kind of damage we're dealing with, yes. I wish I could tell you more. NICHOLAS: I see. Thank you, doctor. CAR Bart was driving André back to the DiMera Mansion. BART: I gotta say, bossman, that was beautiful! I loved it! I mean, the way you had all those people shaking in their boots, hanging on their every word. That was priceless! ANDRE: Dammit! BART: Whoa there. Boss, what's the problem? ANDRE: What's the problem? The problem is, I shot the wrong person. BART: Huh? You what? ANDRE: I was aiming for Anna! I was going to get her so Tony would be distracted. Then that damn Alamain woman got in the way! She's messed up the entire plan now! BART: Plan? Mr. D, I don't mean to sound out of loop, but...I kinda am. What plan are you talking about? And what does it have to do with Vivian Alamain?

LOL I guess even Andre can't see in the dark and that's why he missed. Though getting Vivian was no small feat, so his evil plan will probably go off in one way or another. I'm glad Vivian will be all right (and probably seeking revenge) and that Beatrix is coming to Salem! Very curious to meet her. I don't think Philip is in the mood for getting to know Deimos. Great chapter André DiMera!

Chapter 209 KIRIAKIS MANSION PHILIP: I'd rather not, thanks. It's been a very long, very strange day, and I'd like to go to bed. DEIMOS: Tomorrow night, then. PHILIP: Can't tomorrow, either. DEIMOS: You got a hot date, or something? PHILIP: Actually, I'm chaperoning Salem High's Last Blast Dance. DEIMOS: Wasn't aware you had any kids. PHILIP: I have a son who's graduating junior high next week. And one of the high schoolers is my niece. DEIMOS: I see. PHILIP: So, as you can see, I'm booked solid for the next few days. DEIMOS: Yeah. It's not that I don't believe you, Philip, but I'm kinda getting the feeling you don't wanna hang out with me. Which, you know, we'll have to eventually. PHILIP: We really won't. DEIMOS: Oh, yes, we really will. You see, once Uncle Vic hands you the keys to the company, I'm gonna be starting on the job. So you and me, are gonna become really good friends then. But, we can't be good friends until we get to know each other. So, I suggest that you make time in your little schedule to see me. We could even make it a family thing, if you don't trust me. Which, hey, I can't blame you for that. I wouldn't trust me either. In fact, we should invite Justin, Sonny and Brady to hang with us. Make it a boys' night out. PHILIP: I'll look at my schedule. DEIMOS: I'd get to it promptly, if I were you, Philip. 'Cause, you see, Uncle Vic ordered us to work together. And from everything I've heard, and I'm sure you know this first hand, Uncle Vic is not a man you want to mess with. PHILIP: You think I don't know my own father? Deimos, here's some advice for you. Don't tell me how my family works. I've been here a lot longer than you have, so don't presume to tell me about my life. CAR ANDRE: The plan, dear Bart, is the same as it's always been. Get rid of Tony, and make the three major companies in Salem destroy each other. BART: Yeah, but how did you plan to do that? ANDRE: Meticulously. I'd been planning things for months on end. I called Nicholas Alamain, pretending to be an investor, who was interested in helping him rebuild his company. I watched every step he made from then on. Shortly after he arrived, I found that he was being distracted from his goal by Kate. I impersonated his late father Lawrence, and paid visits to him and Vivian Alamain. Of course, after that, Vivian found me out. She said she'd keep quiet, though, if I would give her one thing. I had to promise not to hurt her favorite nephew. BART: Why would you ever agree to that, bossman? ANDRE: Don't you see, Bart? Vivian has a stake in Nicholas' success. The woman is overbearing at the best of times, and part of the plan is not only to pit these businesses against each other, it's to make them implode. BART: That's genius, boss! ANDRE: It was, until Vivian got in the way. Technically, Nicholas is the one who got in the way. I was aiming for Anna. Nicholas was fighting me for the gun. He pulled in the opposite direction, causing the gun to move over slightly. At that same moment, Vivian walked forward, presumably to protect her nephew. BART: Wow! I love this! But, how do you have a hand in what's going on with Titan? ANDRE: I have Melanie Jonas. The love of Philip's life, and the granddaughter of Victor's wife, Maggie Horton. Philip and Nicholas have never seen eye-to-eye, so naturally, they'll be trying to outdo each other trying to rescue her. And this will be so much fun to watch.

Oooh so it's Andre who has Melanie. This should be just as interesting as he thinks. Deimos certianly i presumptuous, isn't he? Glad Philip put him in his place. Great chapter André DiMera!

Your dialogue is unbelievably fantastic!
LOL at Deimos saying he wouldn't trust himself either. The line about making it a boys night out reminded me of that fanfic I wrote years ago. Remember? You gave me advice with the sports car info.
Bossman's plot is diabolically ingenius. Seems like Nicholas is indirectly responsible for Aunt Vivian getting shot.

Wow. Deimos sure is full of himself for someone who has been locked up for a while and has no clue about the family business. So glad that Philip put him in his place. I wonder how the rest of the Kiriakis men will react to him.
Oh no. Andre has Melanie? He better hope that Brady doesn't find this out. he may wind up in Vivian's old sarcophagus.

Chapter 210 SALEM HIGH As the last few students made their way into the gymnasium, the lights began to dim. Mr. Woods walked up to the microphone on the stage. Several of the students clapped as soon as they saw him. WOODS: Good evening, Salem High! Welcome to your 2017 Last Blast Dance! The gymnasium erupted with the sound of claps and cheers. WOODS: So, the theme for tonight is Gilmore Girls, and I see that several of you have dressed up as your favorite character. We're all gonna have a great time tonight. The dance contest will be coming up later tonight, so please sign up with either myself or one of our chaperones. Most importantly, have fun. This night is a celebration of everything you have all done over the last year. Enjoy yourselves. And now, let the dance begin! The music swelled, and several of the students ran onto the dance floor. Click here to listen to the music that's playing. CLAIRE: Aren't you guys gonna dance? Claire and Chase were with Ciara. CIARA: We will, in a little bit. Theo's just saying hi to some of his other friends. But you two should get out there. CHASE: We can wait for you. CIARA: No, you should go! Seriously, get out onto the dance floor. CLAIRE: You're sure? CIARA: Yes! CHASE: Okay. Claire and Chase got out to the dance floor. CLAIRE: I'm so excited for tonight! I love Gilmore Girls! They used the best music in it! CHASE: I've never seen it. To be honest, I didn't even know this was still a thing. CLAIRE: Oh yeah. Ever since last November when Netflix brought it back for four specials, Gilmore Girls has been a huge thing. CHASE: That's pretty cool. I should probably get to watching it. Maybe you could show me a few episodes? CLAIRE: Definitely! I'm already planning on showing Ciara some of them. Actually, I just got this great idea! After we get back from Australia, on Friday nights, you, me and Ciara...and Theo, if the two of them ever figure out their attraction for each other and actually get together...anway, we should all get together and make save Friday nights for Gilmore Girls nights! It even fits in with the show! CHASE: How so? CLAIRE: You'll see. I don't wanna give anything away. CHASE: Well, that sounds like fun to me. CLAIRE: Awesome! CHASE: You know, I may have told you this already, but you look beautiful. I mean, I always think you look beautiful, but still... Claire and Chase kissed. CLAIRE: Thank you. I love your suit, too. Tonight is gonna be so much better than last year's dance. Joey stood over by the punch bowl. Noelle walked over. NOELLE: Hiya. JOEY: Hey. NOELLE: It's Joey, right? You're one of Ciara's friends. JOEY: Yep. That's me. NOELLE: How come you're just standing over here? Joey shrugged. NOELLE: You wanna dance? JOEY: Sure. Noelle took Joey by the hand and led him onto the dance floor.
