KIRIAKIS MANSION
VICTOR: Well, thank the lord for that!
MAGGIE: Victor!
THERESA: It’s fine, Maggie. I actually didn’t expect anything less.
MAGGIE: But dear, are you sure that you have to leave?
THERESA: It’s not about having to, it’s what I want. Ever since Brady died-
VICTOR: He’s not dead, even if the person we thought was him is.
THERESA: Since he died, I’ve felt lost. I still do. I thought maybe if I stayed here I could find out who killed him, but that’s looking less likely. This place just holds too many memories.
VICTOR: How soon can we make the arrangements?
Maggie gave Victor a look.
THERESA: No need, I’ve already made them. That’s part of why Andrew came to town, to help me set things up. I’ll be out of your hair, or what’s left of it, in a few days, Victor.
Theresa stood up and went to walk out, but turned back.
THERESA: Oh, and I’m sure you could figure this out already, but naturally, Tate’s coming with me. He’s the one good thing about being here, as well as the only part of Brady I’ve got left.
Theresa turned and walked out.

REISTERSTOWN ROAD PLAZA - BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
Jennifer and Frankie hugged.
JENNIFER: Oh my gosh! It’s good to see you, too! What are you doing out here?
FRANKIE: I was in the neighborhood and thought I’d stop by, check out some of the Black Friday sales. What about you?
JENNIFER: Hope, Sarah and I decided to come out here to celebrate the holiday with Melissa and Nathan. It’s been forever since we all got together.
FRANKIE: Oh, that’s great! Sounds like a nice time.
JENNIFER: It has been. So, when you say you were in the neighborhood...isn’t D.C. like a two-hour drive?
FRANKIE: About an hour and a half, but close enough. I have some friends who live out here, though, and they invited me over for Thanksgiving.
JENNIFER: That’s nice.
Hope walked over.
HOPE: How’s it going, Jen? Frankie! Good to see you!
FRANKIE: You too, Hope.
Frankie and Hope hugged.
JENNIFER: And it’s going fine, we were just catching up.
HOPE: Good.
FRANKIE: Hey, did you get an invitation for that Von Amberg party in January, Hope?
HOPE: I did. How do you know about that?
FRANKIE: I may not use the name or have much to do with them, but I’m still a von Leuschner by birth, though Ma and Pop are my real family. So, I’ll be there.
HOPE: As will Aiden, Claire, Chase and I.
Hope looked from Frankie to Jennifer and back.
HOPE: Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have something I need to check on. Good to see you, Frankie. I’ll catch up with you in a bit, cuz.
JENNIFER: Sounds good.
FRANKIE: See you later, Hope.
Hope walked away.
JENNIFER: It’s crazy that we ran into each other here of all places!
FRANKIE: Yeah, it is. Hey Jen, I was meaning to call you, but now that we’re here in the same place, I’ve got something I wanna ask you.
JENNIFER: Okay, sure. What’s going on?
FRANKIE: Well, I guess I’m supposed to have a plus one for this party that’s coming up next year, and I know it’s short notice, since it’s just over a month away, but I was wondering if you’d like to be my date?

Ooh. I wonder what Jennifer will say to Frankie's invitation.

Things were friendly but awkward between them. Very realistic.

I mean didn't Jennifer and Frankie used to be married back in the day before Jack came back with Steve? But Jack is supposedly dead now but who ever really stays dead in this town I mean seriously? I wouldn't be surprised if Jack came back again just as Frankie and Jennifer are about to reconnect

Loved seeing Frankie catch up with his former sister in law Hope because she was married to his late brother Bo and she is the mother of his nephew Shawn and his niece Ciara



Theresa taking Tate with her makes sense...he is her son and Victor is of no biological connection to Tate since Victor was not Carter's grandfather, he is Brady's grandfather

REISTERSTOWN ROAD PLAZA - BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
JENNIFER: Wow. A party in Europe. A party at the von Amberg Palace.
FRANKIE: Yeah. Like I said, I know it’s kinda late notice, so if you either can’t or don’t want to-
JENNIFER: I want to!
FRANKIE: You do?
JENNIFER: Of course! I would love to go to Europe again, and spend time with you! That would be great!
FRANKIE: Great! Thank you so much, Jen!
JENNIFER: Well thank you for the invitation! So, am I gonna meet you there? Should I come out to D.C. first?
FRANKIE: That won’t be necessary. Actually, I’m gonna be in Salem for Christmas. I’ll stay through New Year’s, and then we can go together.
JENNIFER: That sounds great!
FRANKIE: It does! I’m really excited about this!
JENNIFER: Me too!
They stared into each other’s eyes for a long moment. Jennifer hesitated.
JENNIFER: It’s getting to be about the time Hope, Melissa, Sarah and I agreed to meet up. I should probably go.
FRANKIE: Yeah, I gotta head out, too.
JENNIFER: It’s so good to see you again, Frankie!
FRANKIE: You too! I’ll be in touch in a couple of days with the details about the event.
JENNIFER: Sounds great to me.
They hugged again.
JENNIFER: I’ll see you around Christmas.
FRANKIE: See you then.
Frankie watched as Jennifer walked away. After a few minutes, Jennifer caught up with Hope.
JENNIFER: Hey, cuz.
HOPE: Hey. So, Frankie Brady.
JENNIFER: Yeah, of all the people to run into here. It was so nice to catch up with him! Plus, he invited me to that party in Europe in January.
HOPE: Jen, that’s fantastic! I’m so glad you’ll be joining us there!
JENNIFER: Me too!

SALEM PLACE
ALLIE: Wow!
CLAIRE: You really want to ask Joey to marry you?
ALANIS: Yeah. Why? Do you not think it’s a good idea?
CLAIRE: I think it’s a great idea! You and Joey are so good together! How long have you been thinking about this?
ALANIS: For a while now. He and I have talked about the future, and we both can see each other being together in it. I just want to make it official. Not immediately or anything, even if we did get engaged, we would take our time putting everything together. It would be sort of like your engagement, Claire, where you and Chase waited just over a year.
CLAIRE: Well, I’m glad you’ve been thinking about it.
ALLIE: Yeah.
ALANIS: Thanks. So, I was thinking about getting this for him. I don’t know when I’ll give it to him, maybe it’ll be Christmas or New Year’s, maybe after. I just know how I feel about him, and he’s told me that he feels the same.
CLAIRE: Go for it, then. I’m happy for you!
ALANIS: Thanks!
Claire and Alanis hugged.

Meanwhile, Trix had come to the mall and joined Ciara.
CIARA: How was the rest of your Thanksgiving? I mean, aside from the part where you came to celebrate with us.
TRIX: Yeah, it was alright. My Aunt Vivian announced that she’s back. Guess her marriage to André DiMera didn’t work out.
CIARA: Shocker. Sorry, I know she’s your aunt, but…
TRIX: You’re all good. Neither my Dad or I could understand what she was thinking. getting together with that creep. Let’s go in here.
She pointed to the Basic Black outlet.
CIARA: Basic Black? Isn’t that a dress store?
TRIX: You’ve got it.
The two walked in.
CIARA: I don’t think I’ve seen you wear a dress, outside of weddings.
TRIX: I’m not much for them, but I’ll be needing a new one soon. How’s this one look?
Trix pulled a dark blue dress off the rack and held it up in front of her.
CIARA: It’s nice. I like that color on you.
TRIX: Cheers. I wanna check out a couple others, but I do quite like this one.
CIARA: So, what do you need a new dress for?
TRIX: That event in Europe in the new year.
CIARA: Wait, you’re going to that?
TRIX: Yep. Aunt Viv, Dad and I, we all got invitations. I guess the Alamains and von Ambergs are in the same circles, so we got an invite, and Aunt Viv insisted that we all go.
CIARA: You never mentioned that.
TRIX: I was gonna tell you. I wasn’t trying to keep it secret or anything. You just made it clear you’re not interested, so I thought I’d hold off on mentioning it. I’ll also have to find a plus one, I suppose. It’s kind of a requirement, so Aunt Viv says. She’ll bring Ivan, no doubt. Not sure who Dad or I’ll bring.
Ciara was left speechless.

Trix needs a plus one to the Von Amberg party but Ciara made it clear that she wasn't interested and Ciara wants nothing to do with the Alamains or Von Ambergs so it begs the question of if this may be the beginning of the end of Ciara and Trix as a couple? I mean the seeds have been planted for a while with Ciara wanting to join the ISA and then this stuff here, I mean it is probably better that they break up now rather than later.

Frankie and Jennifer going to the party together makes sense.

But Frankie being in town for the Brady Family Christmas...Christmas Day at the Brady Pub...I can't wait

Nicholas I can see him bringing Cassie Brady as his date

I never knew Allie and Alanis were that close but Alanis is with Allie's cousin Joey and if Alanis marries into the Brady family, her and Allie will be cousin in laws but then Alanis will be a Johnson could you imagine Alanis, a Harp, Orpheus' granddaughter marrying a Johnson?

I think Ciara will end up going to Europe too.

This party will be great! I hope it doesn't conflict with any wedding Alanis and Joey end up having.

It seems Jennifer still has feelings for Frankie. This should be interesting.

KIRIAKIS MANSION
A few days later, the breakfast table at the Mansion was full. Philip and Melanie gave each other a look.
PHILIP (whispering): Should we tell them?
Melanie nodded.
MELANIE (whispering): I think so.
VICTOR: You know, I’ve never understood the proclivity of people in Salem to whisper in front of a crowd, as if you assume we can’t hear.
MAGGIE: I think what Victor means is, what would you two like to tell us?
VICTOR: They know what I meant.
Maggie gave Victor a look, but patted his hand.
PHILIP: Well, we do have a bit of an announcement to make. I know we already announced that we’re getting married, but we never set a date.
MELANIE: Until now. We have decided to get married on March 20th, the first day of spring.

MARTIN HOUSE
Benny walked down the stairs. Doug was in the living room, talking on the phone.
DOUG: Well, that will be wonderful! All right. I hope you both have a happy Hanukkah. We’ll see you then. Goodbye.
Benny laced up her shoes as Doug hung up the phone.
BENNY: Good news, Uncle Doug?
DOUG: Very good news. I was just speaking to an old, dear friend of mine, Robert. He tells me he’s coming to Salem for Christmas, and he’s bringing your cousin Charles.
BENNY: Oh, cool. Didn’t Robert and Charles come to your birthday party last year?
DOUG: They certainly did.
BENNY: Well, I’m excited for you. It’ll be good to see them again.
DOUG: It certainly will. Now, young lady, how is your work at the hospital going?
BENNY: It’s good, thanks. Really good. Speaking of which, I need to be going there now.
DOUG: Well, have a good day.
BENNY: You too!
Benny picked up her bag and walked out.

MELISSA’S HOUSE - BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
Jennifer shut the trunk of the car.
JENNIFER: Well, I think that’s everything.
HOPE: Cuz, thank you so much for having us! It’s been great catching up again!
MELISSA: It’s been great for me, too! We need to get together like this more often!
JENNIFER: We sure do!
The three older cousins hugged. Meanwhile, Sarah hugged Nathan.
SARAH: Good to see you again, kid.
NATHAN: You too.
SARAH: Are you sure there’s nothing I can say to convince you to come back to Salem? I know it’s not exactly Hopkins, but we also have a pretty nice hospital.
Nathan chuckled.
NATHAN: I have a lot of fond memories of working at University Hospital. But, I really love the work I’m doing at Hopkins and it just feels right for me to be there.
SARAH: Well, I’m proud of you.
MELISSA: As am I.
Sarah and Melissa hugged.
MELISSA: I’m glad you came, little sis.
SARAH: Glad you invited me, big sis.
MELISSA: Take care of yourself, and Mom.
SARAH: I will.
Hope, Jennifer and Sarah got in the car, but rolled the windows down.
JENNIFER: We’ll call you when we get to Salem!
SARAH: Thanks again for everything!
MELISSA: Sounds good!
NATHAN: See you guys later.
HOPE: Bye, cuz! Bye, Nathan.
Melissa and Nathan waved as the car pulled out of the driveway.

It seems Sarah and Melissa seem to forget about their brother Daniel. I mean she says take care of Mom but Daniel is there too or do they just seem to ignore the fact that Daniel is their brother or that he is Maggie's son every bit as much as they are Maggie's daughters?

But Sarah, Jennifer and Hope heading back to Salem makes sense seeing as how Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is coming up soon
