RENAISSANCE LONDON HEATHROW HOTEL - ENGLAND
CASSIE: It was a while back. Rex and I were living in Colorado. I was doing some modelling and Rex was working on coding websites. He was also trying to get back in touch with Mimi. Even after everything all of Mimi’s lies, he wanted to give their relationship another shot. I guess he thought that enough time had passed that he’d be ready. Then Tony...I mean André showed up. At the time, we thought he was Tony.
JOHN: That’s a common occurrence.
CASSIE: I can imagine, especially since I hadn’t heard of André before. Rex had, of course, because he’s a super genius and did all kinds of research into the DiMera family history. Well, André told us that he was there to see us. To “reunite” with his “children”, his perfect Gemini Twins. That’s when Rex and I became confused. Tony knew that we weren’t really his children. Then, he said that he had someone else who wanted to see us. It was Professor Putnam...I mean, Dr. Rolf. He drugged us. And that’s it. I guess when we woke up, our memories had been erased and we thought we were André’s children.
JOHN: That makes sense. Though, it is most unfortunate for me to say that you never really knew the real Tony.
CASSIE: What do you mean?
JOHN: As I’m sure Rex could tell you if he was in his right mind, André has a habit of pretending to be Tony, as he was doing when the two of you first met up.
CASSIE: That’s sad. I would have liked to meet the real Tony. Whatever he’s like, he must be better than that creep.
JOHN: He is. And now, I believe it’s time the two of us get some fresh air. Long as we’re in London, we might as well see the sights, eh?
CASSIE: Sounds good to me.
JOHN: Ready “Raven”?
CASSIE: Lead the way, “Marlon”.
John and Cassie winked at each other, and walked out of the hotel room.
DIMERA MANSION
Tony had gotten Abigail a cup of tea. They and Anna were sitting in the living room. Abby had calmed down by now. Chad walked in, followed by Billie.
TONY: Officer Reed.
BILLIE: Good afternoon. I have a few questions I’d like to ask you all.
TONY: Of course, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have.
BILLIE: Well, first of all, I need to confirm that you are, indeed, Tony DiMera.
TONY: Well, I am willing to cooperate in any way that I can.
ANNA: I can actually confirm that. This man is definitely Tony.
BILLIE: And you’re sure about that?
ANNA: Oh, definitely. André may be a good duplicate, but there are things even he can’t replicate. There are certain things Tony can do, particularly in the-
TONY: Anna…
ANNA: I’m just saying, if there’s any way to tell that it’s you, that’s it.
BILLIE; I think I get the picture, thank you. Okay, next question, Abigail, how did you come to find André’s body?
ABBY: I was coming down the stairs when I heard the doorbell ring. As I was right there, I told Harold, the butler, that I would get it. I opened the door and there was the body.
BILLIE: And you hadn’t seen André any time before this recently?
ABBY: No.
BILLIE: When was the last time that you did see him?
ABBY: At the Halloween party, just like everyone else that was there that night.
BILLIE: What about the rest of you? Have any of you seen André since the night of the Halloween party?
CHAD: Nope.
ANNA: I haven’t.
TONY: Thankfully, nor have I.
BILLIE: “Thankfully”? Why “thankfully”?
TONY: André and I have a very difficult history, one that usually involves him kidnapping me and taking over my identity, as you well know.
BILLIE: Yes, I do. Do you have any other reasons to wish him dead?
TONY: I’m sorry, pardon me, but I don’t wish him dead. I would never wish death on any person, even someone like André. I don’t wish to have anything to do with him, ever, but I certainly don’t wish him dead.
BILLIE: Okay. What were you all doing just before the doorbell rang and his body showed up?
