Chapter 25
SAMI & LUCAS' HOUSE
SAMI: You're moving...to the other side of the world?
SYDNEY: Like we said, we know how big of a step this is. And, we're gonna do it slowly. It'll take a good six months or more before everything's sorted out.
NICHOLAS: And you're sure this is what you both want?
SYDNEY: Definitely!
CERI: Like we said, we love you guys. We love Salem. And we'll miss all of you...
SYDNEY: But, we're ready to begin a new chapter of our lives.
CERI: Besides, you guys can visit. And, we'll be back loads of times.
SYDNEY: And nothing's even really gonna happen for a while, anyway. We still have to pack up everything and actually buy the house.
LUCAS: Well, if this is what you want, I'm happy for you.
SAMI: We all are.
NICOLE: And we know, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will be amazing.
Everyone got up and hugged Ceri and Sydney.
Moving Day – Six Months Later
CERI & SYDNEY'S APARTMENT
All of the girls' things had been packed into boxes and shipped to the new house in Wales. They were taking a few suitcases with them, in case it took longer for the packages to get there. Rhiannon, Will, Allie, Sami, Lucas, Nicole and Nicholas were helping them with their things.
RHIANNON: Well, that's the last suitcase.
CERI: Great. Thanks.
NICHOLAS: Van's all ready. The four of us are taking you to the airport.
LUCAS: We figured you kids might want a moment alone, though.
SAMI: We'll be outside.
Sami, Lucas, Nicholas and Nicole walked outside.
SYDNEY: Well.
ALLIE: Well.
RHIANNON: Well.
WILL: Yeah.
CERI: I guess this is it.
Sydney and Will hugged.
SYDNEY: Take care of them, Will.
WILL: You know I will. I love you, Syd.
SYDNEY: I love you, too.
Ceri and Rhiannon hugged.
RHIANNON: I'll miss you, Chwaer.
CERI: Me too. You have to come and see the house once we're settled in.
RHIANNON: I will. Love you.
CERI: You too.
Next up was Allie and Sydney.
ALLIE: Have fun in Wales, sis.
SYDNEY: I will. I love you.
ALLIE: You too.
Ceri hugged Will and Allie and said goodbye as Sydney hugged and said goodbye to Rhiannon. At last, Ceri and Sydney walked towards the door. They turned to look back at everyone.
CERI: We'll always love you guys.
SYDNEY: Always.
The girls walked out. Will, Allie and Rhiannon looked at each other. Seconds later, the door opened, and Ceri walked in. She hugged all three.
CERI: You guys are amazing! This may be goodbye, but it's not forever. I promise.
RHIANNON: We know.
WILL: We'll be talking to you soon.
Ceri nodded, then she walked out. Again, the three looked at each other. The door opened again, and Sydney ran in. She wrapped all three in a hug.
SYDNEY: I love you guys so much!
ALLIE: We love you, too!
SYDNEY: I have to go. We have a flight.
She walked towards the door, and looked back.
SYDNEY: You guys will always be my brother and sisters. Always.
She blew them a kiss, then walked out. Will, Allie and Rhiannon looked towards the door, halfway expecting one or both to come running back in. After a few moments, neither one did. The three looked at each other, and got into a group hug.

It was a beautiful summer afternoon. Sydney and Ceri ran through the fields of barley behind the house that they now owned together. After a bit of running, the two stopped, and laid in the fields, their arms wrapped around each other. Ceri picked up a purple flower that was nearby and put it in Sydney's hair. The two smiled, and kissed.
SYDNEY: You know, it's coming up on a whole year since we first got to Tywyn for our honeymoon?
CERI: Oh, I know. I remember everything we did for those three weeks like it was yesterday.
SYDNEY: Same here. The most amazing year and a half of my life.
CERI: Mine too. Rwy'n dy garu di.
SYDNEY: Rwy'n dy garu di, hefyd. (I love you, too).
The girls smiled, and kissed. The west wind began to move among the fields of barley. The girls laid there, wrapped in each others arms, lost in their romance as they lay in fields of gold.
