That's true, I can live with Luke and Tracy pursuing their own storylines too, esp. if we get a good Spencer/Cassadine mystery/adventure story out of it. I don't know who Robert Scorpio is but I'm all for more Scorpios onscreen.... and still wish we could get more airtime for Mac. That guy is a hottie, a silver hottie but hottie all the same.
The way the left things with Nikolas, the door is wide open for him to be a part of the upcoming Wyndemere storyline. I hope they get Tyler Christopher to come back for it too. I know he's on a different show but so what, they get James Franco to make appearances often enough.
I'm sorry to hear about KS and wish her well. She has turned out to be a good little actress and I will miss seeing her onscreen.
So if Dante takes a bullet meant for Johnny that means there is a 3rd person in the warehouse? I'm glad it won't be Johnny who shoots Dante, that would mean too much additional stress for Johnny and I want the guy to get a break not have Olivia turn on him too. Do we know who the shooter is? I assume it would be the hitman that Sonny sent after Johnny? If so, then Sonny will be responsible for Dante being shot once again. That's a mixed bag because on the upside it should be the final eye opening nail for everyone in Port Charles, on the downside it means continued over use of Sonny onscreen.

Robert Scorpio is the father of Robin and the older brother of Mac. Here is some background information on the character. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_ScorpioI just went over to the daytime royalty website to see if I could find out who shot Dante but it doesn't say so there is a slight possibility that Dante could have gotten caught in the crossfire and Johnny may have shot him accidentally. I watch Tyler Christopher's new show and he barely has any kind of role on it and not much airtime at all so he could definitely come back to GH with no problem and still be on both shows. I just saw some spoilers for November sweeps and there is going to be some really amazing things coming up in November. It is going to be a real action packed month. I am so looking forward to November. Since we are not even into October yet I didn't want to spoil November yet by posting some of the stuff here.

Thanks for the info on Robert Scorpio Karebr. The actor looks familiar so maybe I've seen clips of him in some of the flashback scenes without realizing who he was. I won't get to see this week's episodes until the weekend (out of town work trip) and can't wait to see what happens.

FYI Kazz the new actress who is replacing Kristin Storms while she is out sick is on today and she is just awful. I really hope that we are not stuck with her for 2 months or longer while KS is recuperating. I don't think that I can handle watching her for that long. For some reason she reminds me of Charity Rahmer the actress that replaced KS as Belle on Days when KS left Days. I just hope that this new chic doesn't have too much airtime.

I haven't caught up on GH yet and one of the reasons is because after my business trip, I got to have a fun trip to see Rick Springfield in concert. Before he came out on stage, they were playing clips of his previous stage and screen performances, including a few from GH. After seeing what he looks like now, there is no way they could bring him back in the role of Noah Drake if they wanted to because he looks the same age as his "sons". He is 62 but that body still looks like it did in the 80s. Maybe if we had been up close we would have seen a few lines around his eyes or something but otherwise the man looks like he hasn't aged a day.

Okay, I'm all caught up and if there wasn't so much of Sonny and Kate, I would be loving it. I like pretty much everything but them. I would probably even like Carly and Sean if I wasn't still so angry at both of them - TPTB are obviously trying hard to make them come off charming and funny but it just leaves me cold. What I do like is Luke being back and his scenes with Tracy. They have become my favorite couple on GH. I want to know why he was smiling though when he overheard Anthony threatening Tracy. My first thought (because it's the kind of sick thing Days would do) was that he set this up with Anthony so he could get Tracy coming to him for his help, but that doesn't make sense because I can't imagine that Luke would work with Anthony on anything. I will be angry if Luke's behind this but I'm thinking he's not and that he was just smiling because he heard what she said about wanting to work things out with Luke and that maybe he is thinking about how he can help her out and get her back at the same time.
Between the conversation that Lucky had with Ethan about Lulu being like Laura and the way she is acting lately, I wonder if they are setting up a storyline where Lulu has a mental breakdown. I feel really bad for Lucky and I'm annoyed that Liz isn't being used in scenes with him more right now instead of Matt. I have a bit of empathy for Matt finally but I still don't care about the character and he is in the way.
I'm glad to see them moving toward Maxie & Spinelli again and I LOVE that Spinelli finally stood up to Sonny and told him "NO". It's about time that someone did that - I'm sick of Sonny bullying everyone and I'm sick of Spinelli being everyone's punching bag. It's good to see him standing up for himself and what better place to start than with Sonny.

I agree with you Kazz, I am so sick and tired of every single thing to do with Sonny. I really don't want to watch Sonny and Kate together since Sonny as of right now doesn't deserve to have any one in his corner and definitely doesn't deserve to have a love interest. I still can't warm up to the new Kate actress yet either which doesn't help matters. I wished that they never recasted Kate since the other actress was much better.
I really liked the scenes with Luke and Tracy yesterday and I liked that Tracy told Luke that she wasn't ready to take him back since she can't believe that he has changed for the better. I hope that we get to see Luke prove to Tracy that he has really changed and that he wants to be a part of his kids lives. I think Luke was smiling at the end when he overheard Anthony and Tracy talking because he now knows that Tracy still loves him and he still has a chance to be with her. I hope that Luke stops Tracy from sleeping with Anthony and helps get Tracy out of the mess that she is in with Anthony blackmailing her.
I am getting a little tired though of seeing Anthony being involved in every single storyline.
I am really enjoying the stuff going on with Lulu right now because we are starting to see a different side of her. I have a feeling also that Lulu is going to have a mental breakdown like Laura. I also like that Lulu is starting to question whether she wants to marry Dante or not because of his being a cop. I have been enjoying the conversations between Olivia and Lulu a lot.
Michael is really just getting on my nerves lately with his attitude about Sonny.
I am starting to like Sean and Carly together too but I don't know if I want to see them be a real couple. As of right now I really like their friendship.
I also want to see Liz moved back more into Lucky's orbit. I don't mind her being supportive of Matt since Maxie isn't right now. I want to see Liz help Lucky work through his addiction.
I am very intrigued by what is going on with Wyndemere and the Laura painting and Ethan. It doesn't look like Helena is behind it since she was with Ethan when someone else was lurking in the passages watching them. That was so weird with the way that the painting just started crying.
I'm glad that Spinelli and Maxie are looking like that they are going to be back together soon. I really can't stand this new actress however that they got to replace KS with.

Yeah Anthony is starting to wear thin. If the thing with Tracy were happening on Days I would be sickened and ready to tune out but I doubt that GH (in the current century at least) will have a woman blackmailed into sleeping with someone against her will. That's the kind of crap that Hogan Sheffer would write but I'm thinking that Wolf has a better plan in mind.
I agree about Michael. I want to see Abby leave him for Johnny - I'm so glad she warned Johnny about Michael & Sonny's conversation. You just know that's going to lead to another self righteous rant about loyalty when Michael finds out which is going to make me mad because I want Abby to dump his butt, not the other way around. The one thing that I dislike about Wolf's writing over Guza's is what he has done to Michael.
I'm very intrigued about the stuff at Wyndemere too. They are doing a good job of building up the suspense and mystery slowly - I don't have a clue where it's leading but I'm looking forward to the ride.
The KS substitute would bother me if she were meant to be in the role long term because she isn't even trying to make the role her own. She is trying to imitate KS' interpration of the role exactly and maybe that's what they asked her to do since it is just a fill in, but generally speaking I would say that's a mistake for an actor to try. The new Kate actress bothers me a lot more. She's just not good and she isn't getting Kate right. The other Kate was a lot more like Diane to me. I love Diane because she is smart and funny and tough and that's how the other Kate was too. This Kate is just cold and uptight. I don't like her and I HATE her choice in men. Sonny didn't use to bother me this much. He's always been overused and I've always thought that was a mistake but at least he was watchable. I think it was when Guza decided to write Jax off the show, I predict GH will come to regret that decision. Sonny has become unbearable to watch since that storyline.... and Carly's not far behind.

I enjoyed Lucky and Ethan so much today that I saved the episode so I could watch their scenes again... Ethan saying that Helena was looking for something she lost and Lucky asking if it was her soul made me LOL literally.

The Ethan and Luke scenes were really good today and powerful. Luke is going to have his work cut out for him if he wants his family back.
Michael just keeps annoying me more and more each time he is on.

^^ The Ethan and Luke scenes were good and so were the ones between Luke and Lucky today. I also enjoyed Steve and Olivia ... I know it was staged and a little predictable but it was still hot and fun.
I've heard that the show is recasting the role of Kristina and I'm very disappointed!

I just found out about the news about Kristina being recasted today and I am disappointed that the show thinks that she should be recasted with an older and more sexier actress just so that she can be paired off with either Johnny or Ethan. I realize that the actress who plays her right now looks very young but there are plenty of other things that can be done with the character without giving her a love interest.
I really enjoyed the Luke and Lucky scenes yesterday too and I can't wait for the Lulu and Luke scenes that are coming up. I like that Luke is finally seeing exactly how much damage he did this to his family by running away and that it is going to take a lot of hard work to get them back.
The Steve and Olivia scenes today were all kind of interesting. I am starting to like that we are getting a glimpse into Steve's past in Memphis.

The thing that is so stupid to me about recasting Kristina is that Lexi Ainsworth and Kristina are both 19. It's not like the actress is a kid trying to pull off a younger role.... and there is no reason that 19 year old Kristina isn't "old enough" to date 23 yr old Ethan. So what that Kristina has a petite frame, didn't Sonny say that she looks exactly like his mother, and what is suddenly wrong with being thin and youthful looking in Hollywood.
One of the things I thought was interesting about the scenes with Luke's sons is how different he behaved with each. He was still full of attitude when he spoke to Ethan and was still displaying his usual addict BS of blaming everyone else and the little "what more do you want from me" phrases. I think he expected Ethan to be the one to welcome him back like nothing ever happened and was surprised to realize that Ethan was hurt by his leaving too. I'm not sure Luke realized that Ethan loves him and wants him around just like Lucky and Lulu did. It seems like Ethan is the one that Luke feels safe venting too. He was a lot more "adult", genuine, and sensitive when he spoke with Lucky. It's the closest I've seen Luke get to being vulnerable and giving with someone else... and he certainly should be that way with Lucky after all Luke said and did to him and after all that Lucky has been going through. I just thought the contrast was interesting and like you I'm looking forward to seeing the scenes with Lulu.
