I haven't had a chance to watch yesterday's episode yet but I loved Monday's and Tuesday's. I'm glad to see Siobhan go and I love the turnaround in the Jax storyline. I still hate that he's leaving but at least this exit storyline makes a lot more sense to me than what Guza was obviously planning to do. It also makes me tolerant of Carly again (though I'll still be holding a grudge until she proves she's really changed). Now that Jax knows Carly will keep Sonny out of Joss' life and now that his own life is under threat, it makes sense that he would leave Port Charles. I didn't buy that he would suddenly pack up and leave the daughter he tried so hard to protect the second he lost custody - this exit is believable and at least somewhat satisfactory in that Carly, Robin, and I'm sure others will finally see that Jax was right all along and that Sonny (as usual) is the vindicative, selfish one.
I'm really starting to dislike Michael and want to see Abby leave his bratty butt. I hope he will have a wake up call from all of this too Karebr because right now I'm losing patience with him.
I don't want Anthony to die. I didn't want Claudia to die either. I like my villains humorous and crazy, not "tortured" and "misunderstood" (I have no interest in seeing yet another "turnaround" for Sonny). Of course, if Anthony and his witchy little accomplice Skye do anything to harm my Tracy, I'll be rooting to see both of them die.

I'm looking forward to seeing what develops between Abby and Johnny - I think they could be really good for each other and fun to watch.
Okay Karebr, I helped you with Sonny's dream about Jax, maybe you can help me out with what was happening in Friday's episode. I think I understand the basic gist of it - multiple characters fantasizing about what Jason may be like after the surgery (or in Monica's case, what could have been if the accident had never happened)? Was it just me or was Sam's fantasy the only one that a) seems realistic, b) seems true to Jason, and c) was happy? Monica had him turning out to be a drug addict, Carly had him as taking over for Sonny and being hated by Michael, and Liz had him as some odd artist type that didn't seem anything like himself and who obviously had some major responsibility/committment issues. .... And why on earth are they having Liz thinking like that anyway. Where are her kids in any of that and what about the fact that she has been focused on Lucky for the past year or more? That one seemed especially bizarre to me.

You're not the only one who was confused by the whole Liz/Jason dream sequence. I have no idea why they even had one since it has been a real long time since they were together as a couple. It is probably just to give all the Liason fans something to keep them happy since there is no way that they are going to be together. I guess the writers decided to have Jason be an architect in Liz's dream because Liz always had a love for painting and Jason always encouraged her to follow her dream of being an artist so it would make sense that she pictured them as artists in her dream. I saw a spoiler for this week that says that Liz is going to have dinner with Matt so it sounds like there is going to be a triangle going on with Matt/Liz/Lucky now that it looks like Maxie is going to end up back with Spinelli again after he gets back his memory.
The only thing I liked about the Monica dream is that we got to see Alan again. I miss seeing him on the show and I used to love his rocky relationship with AJ. It actually makes sense that Monica would be afraid that Jason would turn to drugs in her dream because of AJ's alcohol addiction and Alan's drug addiction so I could see her thinking that Jason would turn to drugs too.
I loved the Sam/Jason dream. I loved the fact that she pictured their future with them finally being really happy since something always ruins their chance at happiness.
The Carly dream was weird for me to watch with her talking about when they first met. I kept picturing Sarah Brown for some reason as Carly since she was the actress who played Carly when Jason and Carly first met. I kept visualizing the actual scene where Carly and Jason first met and had a hard time focusing on Carly's dream. Carly always thought that Jason would end up taking over for Sonny someday and I guess that I could see Michael being mad at Jason for taking over Sonny's organization since Michael always wanted to run it someday.
I think that I could really get into an Abby/Johnny pairing also.

I hope they won't do a triangle with Liz/Lucky and especially not with Matt. I just can't warm up to his character and I love Lucky. I would like to see Matt and Elizabeth as friends though. They could both use one and I like friendships on a soap, especially platonic male/female ones. It could also be a chance to develop Matt more so maybe I could come to like him. I might like him if the show would let me get to know him. Right now, he's just sort of there. I do hope that Maxie and Spinelli reunite though, I liked them together.
I thought the same thing about Liz's dream, it seemed very out of place to me and as if it was included just to appease one fanbase. I wonder if the dreams are all completed or if there will be more to them because the other thing I thought about Liz's dream is that it could be used as a way to lead her into thinking about her life overall. Since she's likely to lose her job at the hospital soon, maybe she will use that as an opportunity to pursue a career in art instead.
Potentially, they could do something similar with Carly and Monica too. Maybe Carly's dream is more about problem solving the situation with Michael and maybe Monica's will be a wake up call to stop wasting time on wishing for what could have been. Just before it started, she was talking to Edward about how she wished for Jason to be like he was before the accident and he told her to be careful what she wished for so maybe that's what her dream is telling her - that she should value what Jason is instead of wishing for what she thought he could have been and/or that she could have lost Jason a different way (drug addiction) if the accident hadn't happened.
I'll say it again. I really, really like this new writer - I like strong character development and exploration and obviously that is what he likes to write about. I might think the dreams are a bit bizarre but I love that he's given me a reason to think about them and what they could mean for each character.

OMG, I loved the way all of the dreams ended on yesterday's episode!! Now, they all make sense to me and I love how the show intertwined suspense and character development and great flashbacks all flow naturally into the same current storyline.

I loved everything too yesterday with all the dream stuff and I really loved the whole montage with all the important past scenes with everyone important in Jason's life that is still on the show and also some very important scenes from Jason's past. I really loved the way that they ended the whole montage with the scene from Jason's first accident and began it with the scene from the second accident. I actually forgot that Jason and Robin had a relationship when she was a teenager after Stone died from AIDS.
Days could really use a lesson from GH on how to do montages.
I really love the new headwriter too and so far I am enjoying all the storylines on GH because of how character driven they are. It is nice to actually have a soap opera that I can't wait until the next day to see what is going to happen next to all the characters on the show even the ones I don't like and the best thing is I don't have to go looking for spoilers so that I can know what is going to happen on the next day because everything on the show flows together so very nicely.

I've seen some other flashbacks/clips of Jason & Robin together (I think when Brenda was returning to Port Charles) and liked them together. I agree that Days could learn a lot from GH about montages .... and lots of other things (like character driven stories) and wish they would. It would thrill me to no end if I could feel as excited about Days again as GH is doing right now.

I don't know why but I really liked the Johnny/Skye scenes today. There is just something so very sexy about Johnny being tied to a bed. I just loved the way that he was trying to seduce her in order to find out what is going on with her and his father. It was also fun to watch her not tell him anything. I almost could get behind a Skye/Johnny pairing since they were fun to watch today.
I'm so glad that Lulu finally found out about Lucky. I just hope that it doesn't cause problems for Dante and Lulu since he kept it hidden from her. I also hope that she isn't going to try to use Lucky's problems as her next way to escape what is going on in her own life. I really enjoyed the talk between Lulu and Tracy and I hope that Lulu takes Tracy's advice. I also liked Olivia and Dante's talk and I wished that he would have gotten a chance to be honest with Lulu about Lucky before she found out.
I loved the way that Alexis told Sonny that everyone else in Sonny's life has paid for his actions except for him. She has every right to be angry with him after he hurt her best friend Jax. I liked the way that she told Sonny that she wouldn't keep Kristina from him but that he needed to pay for his actions. It was nice to see Kristina not take Sonny's side and lay into him about what happened to Jax and that whether Sonny liked it or not that Jax was a part of their family.
That was an interesting cliffhanger at the end with Tracy catching Skye trying to put money back in Edward's safe. It should be interesting to see what transpires between those two.
I really like the way that the storylines seem to flow and that things seem to move along pretty rapidly while all the key elements are played out on screen that need to be and all the minor details are left for us to imagine what happened instead of making us sit through all kinds of filler scenes.

I liked the Johnny/Skye scenes too. I'm not overly fond of Skye but I love Johnny and he was at his adorable best in those scenes - funny and hot is a great combo!
I love Tracy and one of the things I like best about her is how much she cares about Luke's children. She's a total witch most of the time but she definitely has a soft spot for a chosen few and Lulu is on that list. I agree that Lulu should take Tracy's advice. I like Lulu in general but she often annoys me because of her martyr/savior complex - I would really like to see her take on just a little bit of Tracy's personality in that regard. Oh and I definitely want Tracy to figure out what Anthony and Skye are plotting (and Asher's role in it) so that she can turn the tables. I actually almost like Anthony and he is welcome to target Sonny all he likes, but Tracy's my girl - I don't want anyone winning out against her.
Did you notice that something is going on with Kristina? Two different times in her scenes with Sam she looked weak and like she was about to faint. I wonder if that will turn out to be anything or not. I like Kristina and among all of the other reasons that Sonny irritates me is his attitude that she is still just a kid but somehow Michael is a man. Michael is a lot more immature IMO than Kristina but of course all Sonny cares about is that she is a female and all females are weak and stupid and should worship at his feet. I really want Kristina to cut Sonny completely out of her life. Even before this latest stuff with Jax, I was already thinking that would be the only way that she will ever be able to have a life of her own. Sonny will always try to control everything about her if she doesn't make a break from him. And, she is absolutely correct that Sonny only cares about himself. He was so flippant over Alexis grieving the lost of her best friend wih his sarcastic little go ahead and keep Kristina from me... well first of all Kristina is an adult, but what a cruel attitude to have toward a woman that he supposedly cares about and considers family. He believes Jax is dead and he knows that he caused it and that it has crushed Carly, Alexis, Josslyn, Morgan, Robin, etc. but still has the nerve to strut around defending himself and belittling their feelings and reactions. If there was any doubt about how little value he truly has for any of his so called family, it is completely erased for me and hopefully for all of them.

Michael is officially a jerk in my book after today's episode. The way he was treating Kristina today was infuriating. He has definitely adopted Sonny's attitude about women. Kudos to Kristina for not backing down and for having the wisdom to give Michael the same advice that Tracy gave to Lulu yesterday. Apparently they both (Michael & Lulu) get it from the Spencer bloodline.
LOVED the Alexis/Carly showdown today!! Yay to Alexis for saying that Jax always put Carly first but that she never did the same for him. I've been less angry with Carly since her turn against Sonny but when she had the nerve to once again blame Jax for not "compromising with her" over their daughter's safety today, she loss all the ground she had managed to regain with me.

I was just over on the daytime royalty website since I was curious as to what was going on with Kristina and here are some spoilers from SID magazine about the Kristina stuff coming up.
This all sounds so very interesting except that I don't want to see Sonny try to kill Johnny again and another innocent person will probably end up in the crossfire since I know that Johnny will not be leaving the show anytime soon. I'm hoping that her injury is a result of the car bomb that way Kristina will have another reason to hate Sonny and push him out of her life.
I am really not liking Lulu at all right now. I hate that they are trying to make her more like Laura as in that she feels like she needs to be the one that holds her family together and solve all their problems just like Laura always did. Now that I saw that Genie Francis may be leaving Y & R soon I wonder if Wolf is going to try to get her to come back to Days to be a part of Luke and Lucky's addiction stuff. Laura's return would be a great way to cause problems for Tracy's relationships with Luke and his kids.
I don't know what is going on with Michael lately but I really don't like the way that he is being written right now.

Thanks for the spoilers Karebr!
I hope it's from the car bomb too. When I saw the scene of her grabbing at what looked like her ear (but now that I've read the spoilers I realize it must've been her neck) it made me immediately think of the car bomb. I'm not sure why, maybe like the blast had caused internal damage to her ear drums that had gone undetected and now causing additional problems (not sure if any of that is even possible, it's just what came to mind first). Either way, Kristina has got to get Sonny out of her life if she ever wants to have one. I was glad to see her telling Sam that Sonny is the reason that she will never be able to have a relationship with a man. She's right and I'm glad she recognizes it.
I'm glad that Morgan is safely away from Sonny too .... and I'm just as glad to see Morgan offscreen. That new kid playing Morgan wasn't a good actor IMO. I'd rather see him off screen for a while and then they can return him at an older age with a better actor..... but Molly needs to always be portrayed by the current actress - love her!
Michael seems to be the only character that Wolf is writing worse than Guza. Apparently this is the way he sees Michael but maybe he will allow Michael to learn something from this path that will cause him to take a detour. I probably wouldn't mind Michael choosing a criminal career path if it were truly his own choice, but he is being manipulated by Sonny and he is still holding onto what happened in Pentonville and letting that dictate his entire life. He's convinced himself that this is the only life for him without even trying out the multitude of great options being handed to him on a silver platter. It's incredibly annoying to watch him snub everyone else and turn his nose up at opportunities that any other young man would be thankful to get even one shot at one of them.
And where did this idea come from in Port Charles that the worst thing anyone could ever be is an alcoholic? Sonny kills people on purpose all of the time but AJ is the devil because he had a drinking problem?? Oh but of course, it's perfectly okay for Luke to live in complete denial of his alcoholism and continue to neglect his family and not get treatment even after killing his 4 year old grandson. I like Luke, don't get me wrong. I just don't understand the constant jabs at AJ and the entire Quartermaine family as a means to somehow excuse the behavior of Sonny, Luke, and even Jason. Somehow it's okay to be ambitious and strive for money and power if you're a criminal but the Quartermaines being ambitious and competitive in legitimate business makes them bad? Oh or my favorite line from the Guza error "just as bad as Sonny" ... what a load of crap, but that's what all of his writing seemed focused on, a way to excuse criminal behavior and ridicule everyone who obeys the law and behaves responsibly. I think that's why Michael's rant at Kristina irritated me so much. It was that same hypocritical BS. He's been to prison so that makes him more mature and wise than Kristina because she has chosen to work hard for good grades and higher education.

Wow I didn't realize just how long it has been since I have visited this thread and posted something in it since I have been really busy lately.
I just have a few comments to make about last Thursday's episode.
I really liked Jason and Sam's wedding since the small intimate wedding is exactly how I pictured their wedding to be. I also liked that they got married in a Chinese restaurant garden since their love of Chinese food is a part of who they are as a couple.
I am so intrigued by what is going on in Wyndemere and why someone would uncover Laura's portrait and write Laura by it. I have a feeling that it may have been Luke that was the one who did it and that GH may be in the process of bringing Laura back.
I hate that it looks like Lisa is coming back to cause trouble for Patrick and Robin again. I really thought we were done with her when she was put in a coma. I should have known better that Anthony would have brought her back again to ruin Patrick and Robin's lives.
It was nice to see Franco again and I am looking forward to seeing what he has planned for Jason, Maxie and Sam.
Sonny is still irritating the hell out of me and I would love to see him take a long vacation out of Port Charles for awhile.

I liked Sam and Jason's wedding too and agree that it was much more fitting for them than the ceremony that Maxie was planning. I also like that they ended up using the family rings that Edward and Monica gave them rather the one that Maxie kept losing.
I don't want Laura back. Lulu is annoying enough; I don't want to see the full fledged version of her martyr tendencies. Plus I really like Tracy and Luke & Tracy as a couple. However, I am interested in any storyline involving the Spencers & Cassadines so I'm intrigued about what is going on at Wyndemere too.
I was enjoying the show so much more when Wolf first took over and we got that break from Sonny for a bit but now he's back to his usual over exposure and it makes the show less enjoyable for me. I don't like the recast of Kate either and I'm not interested in anything related to Sonny anymore and especially not another "romance". I agree that we need a longer break from him. And why is it that Anthony is focused on everyone but Sonny? Why can't he just go over him directly and leave everyone else along ... and why can't Johnny ever get a win? The ending to Friday's episode makes me think that either he will shoot Dante and have to deal with the guilt over that or he will be the one to get shot. The fact that Lulu is waiting for him and popping the champagne when the gunshots happen, I'm guessing it will be Dante shot.... which of course will inflict even more Sonny airtime on us.
Lulu annoys me but I do like Dante & Lulu as a couple so maybe at least if Dante is the one shot, Lulu will get over herself (like Tracy told her - I loved that scene!) and they will grow closer through it.
The other couple that I want to see more of is Spinelli and Maxie. I enjoyed all of their scenes together (esp. now that Spinelli is Spinelli again) and remembered how much I miss them.

I read a spoiler over on the daytime royalty board that Dante gets in the way of Johnny being shot and ends up being shot himself. I hope that since Dante will be shot that Lulu will finally focus on him and stop meddling in Lucky's life. I want to see Lucky's drug addiction storyline end up being a way to reunite Lucky and Liz.
I am so glad that Spinelli is back to normal and that it is looking like Spinelli and Maxie will be back together soon. I miss them so much as a couple. I saw over on the daytime royalty board that Kristen Storms will not be on general hospital for a couple of months because of her being ill but that the role was recasted until Kristen Storms is able to return to GH. There is no word on what kind of illness she may have but there is some speculation that she may be being treated for anorexia since it seems like she has lost some weight recently. I don't know how true those rumors are but either way KS will be gone for awhile. I just hope that the actress that is taking her place is decent.
I am really hot and cold on the possible Laura return. I actually enjoyed her when she was first on the show and her and Luke used to have their adventure storylines together but I didn't like her too much near the end of last time on Days. I actually hope that if she does return that she is thrown into an other Cassadine mystery storyline. I saw something over on the Daytime Royalty board about some lady in white storyline that is supposed to go with the Wyndemere stuff. I also something awhile back about Nicholas coming back so maybe he is tied into this lady in white and wyndemere stuff or there is another secret Cassadine out there. That would be really cool if the lady in white is actually another Cassadine since I have always been intrigued by all of the Spencer/Cassadine storylines and they have always been my favorite GH storylines ever since the ice princess one. I like Tracy and Luke too but I am all for a really good Spencer/Cassadine mystery and I can handle Luke being out of Tracy's orbit a little while longer if Luke gets to have a big adventure and I hope that Ethan gets to be involved in it. Tracy has stuff to do with ELQ to keep her busy while Luke is on his adventure. I forgot to mention that apparently GH is talking to Tristan Rogers about coming back as Robert Scorpio so if that rumor is true he may be part of the Cassadine stuff.
I hope that Sonny is not going to be featured more once Dante is shot and I don't understand the need to recast Kate especially if Kate and Sonny are supposed to be paired again. Wouldn't it have been better to keep the original actress?
Anthony is really getting on my nerves with him popping up everywhere. I really wished that he would target Sonny and stay away form targeting everyone else. I still have a feeling that for November sweeps that we are going to have a murder mystery involving Anthony's death with the way that Anthony is interfering in so many people's lives.
