FARM – ARKANSAS
Bri printed out some directions from MapQuest. Jay and Philip had explained the situation to her.
BRI: Here you are. I'd love to have come with you guys, but my boys will be home from school in an hour or so.
JAY: That's no problem.
PHILIP: Thank you so much.
BRI: No trouble at all.
JAY: Well, we'll be on our way. Thanks again.
BRI: You're more than welcome. Do you think I can have a minute with Philip, though, before you go? The character, I mean.
PHILIP: Sure.
JAY: I'll go back to the car.
Jay walked out the door.

THE PROSPECT STUDIOS – HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA
Kirsten Storms was sitting in her dressing room, looking over a script. Her phone rang. She picked it up.
KIRSTEN: Hello?
It was the building's secretary.
SECRETARY: Miss Storms, you have two visitors here to see you. They say they're from Days of Our Lives.
KIRSTEN: Really? Well, send them in.
She hung up the phone.
KIRSTEN: I wonder why someone from Days would want to see me?
Kirsten went back to reading her script when a knock came at the door. She opened it. Brady and Theresa were on the other side.
BRADY: My god, you really do look like Belle.
KIRSTEN: Well, I would hope so. I used to play her for a long time. Hey, Jen. And you must be Eric, right? You play Brady.
BRADY: Well, yes and no.
KIRSTEN: I don't understand.
THERESA: It's kinda complicated. We'll explain everything. See, we're not exactly Eric Martsolf and Jen Lilley. We're Brady and Theresa.
The two explained their whole story to Kirsten.
KIRSTEN: Whoa! And I thought weird stuff like this only happened onscreen.
BRADY: So did we, actually.
THERESA: So, can you help us? Will you?
KIRSTEN: You know this sounds crazy, right?
BRADY: Believe me, we do.
THERESA: If it weren't happening to us, we wouldn't believe it, either.
Kirsten thought for a moment.
KIRSTEN: Of course, I'll help. Luckily, I just finished my last scene of the day. I was just going over some lines for tomorrow. I'll be happy to help.
BRADY: Great. Thanks. Let's go.
The three headed out the door.

NBC STUDIOS – BURBANK
J.J., Tony and Jack had gotten a flight out to California, and met up with Marlena and Diedre. All five were now walking down the halls of NBC Studios towards the Executive Producer's office.
J.J.: This is kind of exciting.
TONY: Kind of nerve wracking.
MARLENA: Miss Hall...
DIEDRE: Please, call me Diedre. We're practically the same person, after all.
MARLENA: Okay, Diedre, what were you about to tell me a little bit ago?
DIEDRE: What do you mean?
MARLENA: Before that one security guard came in the room, you were about to tell me something about the Creator, or I should say, the Executive Producer of Days of Our Lives.
DIEDRE: Oh, that. He's a bit...how shall I put this? Interesting, I guess you could say.
MARLENA: Interesting in what way?
DIEDRE: You'll see.
J.J.: Well, that sounds promising.
JACK: With any luck, we'll be able to convince him not to give up on Days.
DIEDRE: I hope you're right.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER'S OFFICE AT NBC STUDIOS
A relatively darkly lit room. There is a gun lying on a table. In front of the gun, lined up in a row, are seven gold bullets. Each bullet has a name on it. The names are: “Philip”, “J.J.”, “Marlena”, “Shawn-Douglas”, “Belle”, “Brady”, and “Theresa”. A hand picks up each bullet individually and loads it into the gun.

FARM – ARKANSAS
PHILIP: So, what's up?
BRI: It is so good to see you. I mean, in person, as opposed to just on the TV.
PHILIP: Thanks.
BRI: I gotta admit, I was a bit disappointed with JPL. Don't get me wrong, he was good, he just wasn't you.
PHILIP: Oh, that. That was just a face mask I was using.
BRI: Well, I'm glad you're not wearing it anymore. And I hope, when all of this is over, you'll come back to Salem.
PHILIP: Well, I don't know. I'll try.
BRI: I hope you do. Those dimples NEED to get back to Salem ASAP.
PHILIP: I'll see what I can do.
BRI: Good. Well, I'll let you catch your flight. Um, may I...?
Bri opened her arms.
PHILIP: Sure.
Philip and Bri hugged.
BRI: Thanks.
PHILIP: No, thank you. You've been a huge help to us, Bri.
BRI: No trouble. Tell Jay if he's ever in town that he's welcome any time.
PHILIP: I'll let him know, thanks.
Philip walked out and back to the car.

NBC STUDIOS – BURBANK
The five were about to go in the room, when they heard a familiar voice.
KIRSTEN: Guys, wait up!
Kirsten, Brady and Theresa came running down the hall.
MARLENA: Belle.
KIRSTEN: Hey, Diedre.
DIEDRE: Actually, I'm Diedre. This is Marlena.
KIRSTEN: So, it really has happened?
BRADY: Did you doubt us?
KIRSTEN: You have to admit, it's a little farfetched at best.
DIEDRE: You could almost say it's too weird for words.
MARLENA: Regardless, it is very real. Especially for us. So, shall we go and meet him, then?
KIRSTEN: You do know who you're going to meet, right?
DIEDRE: I mentioned that he's a bit...unique.
J.J.: Well, here goes nothing.

AIRPLANE
Philip, Jay, Shawn-D, and Belle had gotten on the first flight they could.
SHAWN-D: Should be interesting.
PHILIP: Now that Marlena gave us the directions to NBC, we should be there in no time.
A young woman was sitting next to Shawn-D and Belle.
WOMAN: Excuse me, you're Shawn and Belle from Days of Our Lives, right?
BELLE: Yeah, that's us.
WOMAN: Oh my gosh! I love Days! You guys are so awesome! I'm Michelle, by the way.
SHAWN-D: Hi.
MICHELLE: So, what are you guys doing on a plane? Aren't you guys already supposed to be in California?
BELLE: Well...

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER'S OFFICE AT NBC STUDIOS
Marlena, Diedre, J.J., Jack, Tony, Brady, Theresa and Kirsten walked in. The room was still dimly lit, with candles all around. There was a tall chair behind a large desk. The back of the chair was to everyone.
DIEDRE: We're here.
KIRSTEN: We wanted to see you.
The chair swiveled around to reveal Dick Dorkay.
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from Kpatch): It took you a lot longer to find me than I thought it would.
BRADY: It's not an easy thing to find your creator.
J.J.: We're here because...
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): I know why you're here. And I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

Oooh. So let's see what happens now. It's weird to me that the office is lit dimly with candles, almost like Dorkay was having a wake.

Love that Bri told Philip to get back to Salem and that Jay was welcome anytime. Do I foresee Jay's new hiding spot being in Arkansas? LOL

AIRPLANE
MICHELLE: Whoa!
Michelle had met Philip and Jay, and the four had told their peculiar tale to her.
MICHELLE: This is so cool! I mean, obviously, not the whole thing about you guys dying if Days ends, but the fact that you're here and talking to me!
PHILIP: Well, it's definitely a bit different.
MICHELLE: I would love to help you guys in any way that I can!
SHAWN-D: That'd be awesome. We're on our way to Burbank, California to talk to the Executive Producer of Days of Our Lives. Marlena just texted us the address.
MICHELLE: Marlena's here, too?! Coolies! Is anyone else?
BELLE: Well, there's Jennifer's son J.J. My older brother, Brady. Oh, and Theresa Donovan.
Michelle's mouth dropped open.
MICHELLE: No way!
PHILIP: Yes way.
MICHELLE: Oh my gosh! I love Theresa! Will I be able to meet her?
SHAWN-D: Probably, if you come with us to NBC Studios.
MICHELLE: Oh, I'm definitely there! This is so awesome!
JAY: Yeah. So, that's what we're doing here. What are you doing on a flight to Cali?
MICHELLE: Oh, I'm going home. I live in California.
BELLE: That's really cool!
MICHELLE: Yeah, it's nice.
SHAWN-D: So, you know the area pretty well, then?
MICHELLE: Fairly. I could probably help you find the studio, if you want.
PHILIP: That'd be really great, thanks!

BRADY: Why can't you help us, Mr...um..

BRADY: Mr. Dorkay, why can't you help us?

THERESA: Can't you just, I don't know, uncancel us?
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
KIRSTEN: Why not?
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): Because, Belle...
KIRSTEN: It's Kirsten. I gave you the best years of my teens and early adulthood, and you still don't know that my name is Kirsten.
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): Yeah, whatever. I try not to get involved in my people's personal lives. Anyway, what was I saying?
MARLENA: You were telling us why you couldn't help us. Why you couldn't just stop Days of Our Lives from being canceled.
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): Oh, yeah. Right. That. It's like this, see: a series cancellation sequence cannot be undone once the series has officially been canceled.
DIEDRE: Well, I'm disappointed in you, Dick. And, you know who else would be?
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): Marlena, please, don't do this right now.
MARLENA: Actually, I'm Marlena. That's Diedre.
DICK DORKAY (borrowed, with permission, from kpatch): Whichever one you are, then. Okay, fine, I'll bite. Who would be disappointed in me?
DIEDRE: Molly.
