Me either!!! Its been a looong time since I've actually been excited to see DAYS. It feels good. And I'm especially excited to have good cliffhangers again. It's so nice, isn't it? I can't remember the last time I was excited about the show's upcoming storylines. I'm seriously excited for Patch's return. At least they let us hear "sweetness" as part of the teaser! Ding dong the witch is dead! Woohoo. I'm reserving my sheer joy until I find out if we have to watch weeks on end of Eric mourning for her and regretting how he treated her. But thank god she's almost gone. Next up (I hope!) Clyde, Paige, and Ben. |

I can't remember the last time I was excited about the show's upcoming storylines. I'm seriously excited for Patch's return. Me too! Patch is one of my all time favorites, and with new writers I have a bit more confidence his character won't be all messed up like when Eve returned. Ding dong the witch is dead! Woohoo. I'm worried about that too. But maybe we'll actually get some good scenes of Erics family and friends helping him through it so Mopey Eric isn't a permanent fixture and Greg Vaughn is actually given some decent material! |

I also think it will be interesting to watch Chad deal with the aftermath of thinking he killed someone. I don't think he really did it though. It was probably Xander. He's the only other person I can think of who would be angry enough at her to kill her.

wendylou unless it was some crazy person who kills random people. I can't imagine who would kill Serena either though im sure the esteemed Salem PD will look at Nicole since she and Serena fought publicly a bazillion times

He's the only other person I can think of who would be angry enough at her to kill her. The first person suspected is never the killer, so hopefully that common soap axiom applies here too! I don't want it to be Chad. But I am curious if Abigail will believe the worst of him or be "on his side", so to speak, and give Ben more reason to be jealous of Chad. |

I guess if this is part of a serial killer plot, then motive doesn't matter but ... who all has motive to kill Serena? - It looks like Chad will have motive after she publicly slaps him.
- Xander has motive as revenge or just to cover his butt.
- Clyde has motive to set Chad up to look like he did it to keep him away from Abigail and to mess with a DiMera.
- Stefano (this is a stretch, I admit) has motive after whatever it is Chad does to betray him.
- Nicole hates Serena and Daniel is angry with her for endangering Eric and Nicole, but I don't think they have motive.
- Victor has motive to had to have her killed to keep his role in the Xander and blood diamonds scheme quiet, but I think that's too much of a stretch.
The show seems to be plausibly setting up a realistic "Whodunnit?" storyline. For once, I'm excited. It's been a long time since I've wanted to hurry up and get to next week's shows!

Is it possible the killer meant to kill someone else and killed Serena instead? Though of course if its a serial killer that's not applicable either. unavitasegreta just the fact that we are all excitedly discussing this preview instead of watching it and signing off after one comment makes me even more excited than the contents of the preview, which were awesome! |
