I think my boyish good looks, endless charisma, and obvious charm brought out the maternal instinct in them. Maybe it was his modesty Great Chapter!

I hate to say it, but I have a major complaint with this story. 24 hours is too long to wait between chapters!!! :-P I wanna know RIGHT NOW what happens next. Such a great story!

PAKISTAN
I thought it was too dangerous to try to access my personal email account using this computer. Then I remembered my “blog” ... the one the Navy started for me so they could maintain my walkabout “cover.” But I couldn’t very well say, “Having a great time with the bin Ladens. Wish you were here.” I needed to be a bit more subtle. Jennifer always said that subtlety wasn’t my strong suit, and she was right.
Then the lightbulb moment dawned and I started to type like mad. I posted the Sunsets haiku that my friend Darin wrote. If he's alive, he would recognize it for sure, and would know without a doubt it was me who was posting it.
I knew it was risky to post anything online from this computer, but I didn’t have much of a choice. I couldn’t stay here forever and if they were going to kill me because of it ... well, they probably were going to kill me anyway. It’s a chance I had to take.
Shortly after I posted the haiku, the women came back. They seemed to be eyeing me with suspicion, although it could have just been my imagination. They took the laptop computer away and left the room. That was the last time I ever saw them.
To be continued Monday...
