I understand Philip and Chloe being nervous about how Parker will respond. Hopefully Parker will surprise everyone.

Did they even fully watch the video? I'm thinking that there is more than that....

Chapter 66b
Chloe’s cell phone went off and she was about to send it to voicemail when she saw that it was a text from Deb Pryce. “Um. I need to take this,” she told her colleagues. She stood up and walked over to the window as she clicked the link.
The live video showed Parker and another little boy named Dustin fighting over a toy weapon.
Dustin snatched the laser out of Parker’s hands and was waving it around yelling “Mine. It’s mine.” He poked Parker in the side with it. “You’re dead!”
That got Parker’s parents’ attention. “Hey,” Parker said. “Stop that.” Parker squinted at Dustin the same way Philip squinted when he was annoyed. “That’s my birfday present,” Parker replied, reaching for the tip of the fake laser.
“No. You get your own. This one is mine.” Dustin lunged at Parker again.
Oh god, Chloe panicked. Parker’s going to get angry and hit Dustin! “I need to take care of something,” she called to her coworkers as she rushed out of her office.
As soon as she was outside her door, she physically bumped into Philip. “I was coming to get you,” he said, joining her as they rushed down the corridor. “Did you —” He saw that she was holding her cell phone. “Oh, you did. You got the video from Deb too.”
“I hope we’re not too late,” Chloe fretted. “I mean, she won’t let Parker hit Dustin, right?”
“If he doesn’t, I just might,” Philip threatened. “Did you see him stab Parker with that sword?” It's a live video. It's still going on.

Chapter 66c
As soon as she was outside her door, Chloe physically bumped into Philip.
“Did you see him stab Parker with that sword?”
“It’s a toy, Philip,” Chloe rationalized. “Although I have no idea why people give children weapons as presents, even if they’re not real.”
As soon as they entered the day care center, Deb caught their eye and held up her hand, motioning for them to stay back. She stood near the children, watching them intently, but not intervening.
Parker was still rubbing his side where the sword poked him. “My poor angel,” Chloe said, wringing her hands together. She took a step forward and Philip gripped her arm, pulling her back. “Wait,” he whispered to her. “He needs to learn to fight his own battles.”
“That’s what I’m afraid of,” Chloe whispered back without taking her eye off the boys.
Philip swallowed hard and said in a whisper that only Chloe could hear, “Hold your aggression, big guy. Keep it in check.” Dustin waved the sword in the air and yelled, “It’s mine, it’s mine.”
Parker balled his hand into a fist, but he appeared to think better of it. He looked around and caught sight of his parents watching. Then he looked back at Dustin, “Sowwy you feel that way, but you’re wrong,” Parker said calmly.

Wonder what he would have done if he HADN'T seen his parents.

Where are the adults other than Deb and Parker's parents? I would hope an adult would intervene. While it would have been wrong for Parker to hit the other kid, the other kid did poke him with a toy hard enough to hurt and was taunting him, and it would be nice for an adult to do something about that. Anyway, I agree with gapeach. What would Parker have done if his parents weren't there?

Chapter 66d
Dustin waved the toy sword in the air and yelled, “It’s mine, it’s mine.”
Parker balled his hand into a fist, but he appeared to think better of it. He looked around and caught sight of his parents watching. Then he looked back at Dustin, “Sowwy you feel that way, but you’re wrong,” Parker said calmly.
Philip’s eyes widened. “That’s what I taught him to say,” he whispered, almost to himself.
Chloe turned her head and looked at Philip. “What did you say?”
But before he could answer, their attention was back on Parker. “You shouldn’t stab people with the sawd.” The toy sword was soft and bendable, but still, Parker admonished his playmate. “You’ll poke somebody’s eye out.”
“Gee. I don’t wanna hurt anybody. Sorry Parker,” Dustin pouted. He looked up at Deb and handed her the sword.
Philip and Chloe both exhaled in unison. When Parker looked over at them, Philip smiled and winked at his son.
“Philip, did you see that.” Chloe turned to face him again. “That was amazing. He took the high road.”
“I know. He not only chose not to fight,” Philip said with amazement, “he taught the other boy about doing the right thing too.”
“This is huge,” Chloe gushed.
“I know,” Philip said, still focussed on the boys.
Chloe was dying to run over to her son but she knew him well enough to know he’d be embarrassed by his mother’s public display of affection, so she held back. Instead, Chloe put her arms around Philip and hugged him tight. “I feel so proud.”
“Me too,” he said, returning the hug. “We should give Dr. Richards’ phone number to Dustin’s parents.”
“Wanna play Legos,” Dustin asked Parker.
“Maybe later,” Parker replied. “I have a meeting to get to.”
Parker ran over to his parents and rushed into Philip’s open arms. When Philip lifted him up, Chloe leaned over and kissed her son’s cheek, gently tousling his hair. “Hi, my birthday angel.”
“I’m hungry,” Parker said.
Philip looked at Chloe, then back at Parker. “Well, if your mom’s not too busy, how about if we take you to lunch right now, big guy?”
“McDonald’s?” Parker asked with wide-eyed excitement.
Chloe wrinkled her nose, so Philip thought for a minute. “I know. We’ll get pizza at Whole Foods.”
“Yeah!” Parker high-fived Philip with his approval.
