Like the fact that Edith is going to suggest Monica for the marketing position.

I'm sure Edith could write a book! I'm glad Philip and Chloe worked this out as a team. Great chapter, Kpatch!

Oh wow. This sounds like a great solution -- if Monica cooperates. I still am afraid she's going to try to make trouble. I'm glad everything went smoothly and that Philip and Chloe handled it as a team. Great chapter Kpatch.

I like how Edith took charge of the situation I also like that Philip didn't act blameless in the scenario, I thought it showed maturity

I'm glad that they talked to Edith right away. Edith handled it better than I expected but it was tame compared to Kate and Victor's activities. Hopefully the job will be offered to Monica and she will happily accept.
I'm glad to see Philip feeling so positive about his relationship with Chloe.

Chapter 65a
Before they walked into the doctor’s office, Philip squeezed Chloe’s hand and told her that this was one of the few times that he was glad to have an appointment with Dr. Richards. He was ready to blast her with both barrels. Chloe was plenty mad too, but she wanted to let Philip take the lead. She’d chime in if necessary, but since they were essentially breaking up with their therapist, she’d let Philip to do the heavy lifting.
The three of them were now seated in her office, and Dr. Richards appeared calm and cool as usual. But looking over at Philip, Chloe could feel her anxiety rising. When Philip glanced at Chloe, they nodded at each other. This wasn’t going to be pretty.
He turned to face the doctor. “Before we start, I have something to say,” Philip told the doctor. “This is our last session. We’re done,” he said, intentionally keeping his voice flat and unemotional.
“Oh? Does that mean everything is good between the two of you? And with Parker?”
A harder edge crept into his tone. “Yup, everything is perfect,” Philip said, “no thanks to you.”
The doctor showed no reaction other than a pair of raised eyebrows. “Pardon?”
Philip leaned forward in his chair and pointed at her. “That little suggestion you gave me last week. It nearly wrecked everything Chloe and I have been working toward.”
“Oh? How so?”
“I kissed another woman,” Philip exclaimed in an accusatory tone. Chloe felt an unpleasant shiver run through her hearing Philip say those words.
“Hmm.” Mary tilted her head slightly. “I don’t recall suggesting you kiss another woman.”

I'm glad that Dr. Richards is holding her own. Maybe she will help them work through this and maybe, just maybe, Philip will take responsibility for his behavior with Monica. Great chapter Kpatch!

Oooh.... This session is going to be a doozy! If they truly break up with Dr Richards, I hope Philip and Chloe find a new therapist. I think they could benefit from additional counselling.

Philip desperately needed a kick in the .....um....gut, to get him started thinking about what HE wanted and what HE could live with and what struggles/problems might always exist between him & Chloe. If he couldn't accept Chloe's issues, then trying to form/build/keep any type of romantic relationship with her was only doing more damage to Parker because it would not be a happy, loving household.
Dr. Richards kept it real with Philip and didn't coddle him or sugarcoat the facts. Philip wants to hear "It will all be ok. Just do this and this and this and it will all fall back into place and you two will be happy and yada yada yada." It just doesn't work like that. She tried to listen to him, but the problem was that he wasn't saying ANYTHING to get to the root of the problem. He was saying what he thought she wanted to hear so she decided to play hard ball.
This is gonna get interesting! I can see Philip loosing his temper in the very near future...

I hope dr Richards doesn't weasel out of this Philips choice of words didn't help but I would have sacked her too I hope they stick together and don't get sucked back in Parker should stay in therapy but if they don't trust her for them why trust her for their child Maybe it's time to find another high priced child therapist

Chapter 65b
Philip leaned forward and pointed at her.
Philip’s jaw dropped. He briefly looked over at Chloe as if he was worried she’d think he’d been lying. “Well. No. You didn’t. But you did say that I should consider the possibility that Chloe isn’t the right woman for me.” He squinted at the doctor with distrust. “Or don’t you recall saying that either?”
“I recall words to that effect, of course,” the doctor replied.
Chloe watched the imaginary conversation ball being batted between Dr. Richards and Philip as if she were watching a tennis match.
“So, tell me. What happened when you kissed this other woman?”
He leaned back and sat up straighter. “Nothing. Nothing except it made me realize that I don’t want any other woman. Chloe is the right woman for me.”
“I see. And you’re one hundred percent sure of that?”
“A hundred and ten percent,” he shot back.
Chloe looked down, trying to hide her smile. Philip’s confidence in his feelings for her made her heart leap. But this was a serious meeting and she needed to appear a bit somber.
“Well that’s good. And,” Dr. Richards turned her gaze toward Chloe, “you obviously told Chloe about that kiss.”
“I did. Immediately.” Philip looked over at Chloe as well. “I wanted her to hear it from me.”
“And how did you react, Chloe?”

Go Dr Richards. Looks like her therapy was effective after all. Can't wait to see what happens next!
