I'm anxious to find out if Philip and Chloe will give in to temptation or if Philip will remember Dr. Richard's instructions. I'd really like some previews Kpatch. |

As requested, here are some previews for the coming week
Will Philip and Chloe give in to or resist temptation?
The morning after, Chloe has something she needs to tell Philip.
Chloe asks Philip on a date. Will he say yes?
Author's Note: This week there will be some shorter-than-usual chapters as I work to catch up on my writing.

Chapter 12c
“I want to do more than just try,” Chloe said. “I want to succeed this time.”
“Okay, good,” he smiled back at her. “Then we are on the same page. So, I’m gonna just get …. um ….” Philip pointed toward the door to indicate his intent to leave, but his eyes locked with Chloe’s, and he lost his train of thought.
“You’re gonna just get what,” she asked, looking from his eyes to his lips and back again.
“I’m … not sure. I can’t remember what I was going to say,” he mumbled an instant before he leaned over and captured her lips, pushing Chloe down onto her pillow. She held the back of Philip’s neck and pulled him down with her.
Philip raked his fingertips through her hair, loosening the clip that was holding her hair up. The leg that was on the floor was now draped over Chloe’s thighs and his hand was traveling from her hair, down her shoulder to her stomach. He released her lips to nibble her neck. She moaned and grasped a fistful of his hair with one hand while she tugged his shirt out of his pants with the other.
Philip leaned away quickly and smiled at Chloe as he caught his breath. He inhaled deeply and rolled onto his back laughing.
“What’s so funny,” she wanted to know.
“You’re making this really hard, baby.”
Chloe rolled onto her side facing Philip and walked her fingers up Philip’s inner thigh. “It’s supposed to be hard, you know,” she whispered, her lips touching his ear.
“Baby, you’re killing me.” Philip trapped Chloe’s hand against his thigh to stop her from going any further. “I gotta go,” he said, rolling off the bed.
“Philip!”
“Same page, remember?” He leaned over the bed again and kissed her lips softly. Running his fingers through her hair, he told her, “I’ll see you tomorrow. Sleep tight.”
He quickly turned and left the room, tucking his shirt into his pants. As Philip walked through the apartment toward the door, he mumbled, “This is even harder than I thought. Note to self. Stay away from the master bedroom for the next three months.”

Many cold showers will be taken in the next three months... I second that! Looks like this will be harder than either of them anticipated. I just hope that they don't give in too soon. |

I don't think it will be much easier for Philip even if he avoids the master bedroom.

Philip did the right thing, though I bet he is regretting it right now! I can't wait for the next session with Mary to see how resentful they are towards her!

Chapter 13a
Next day at the office, Chloe knocked on Philip’s door. “Got a minute?”
He looked up and smiled broadly. “For you? Always.”
While she took a seat on the sofa, Philip got up and walked around his desk to sit down next to her. He placed his hand on hers. “Everything okay?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” she said looking up at the ceiling. “Yes I do.” She looked him in the eye. “I owe you an apology, Philip.”
Knitting his brow, he asked, “For what?”
“For coming on so strong last night, for being so aggressive. That was unfair.”
Taking her hand, he kissed her knuckle. “That’s okay. I like aggressive women, especially when they’re you.”
Chloe chuckled briefly. “There’s something else.”
He squinted at her a little skeptically. “Okay.”
“So, um. I’m not sure exactly how this is done,” Chloe said hesitantly, “but I want to ask you out on a date.”
