And yes Eric looked HOT!!! And I don't like what they have done to Alcide either. I wonder what Sam is going to do.

I just finished the last book of the series. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. Now I'm even more curious about the series.

The series is different from the books...There are of course similarities, but it really isn't much the same. In the series, Lafayette is a major character, he dies very quickly in the very first book. Tara also is a huge character and not so much at all in the books.

Isn't Alcide a bigger presence in the series too? I always hoped he and Sookie would get together in the books.

He is a bit bigger in the series yes, but at least he appears a bunch in the books. I am disappointed on how they took Alcide in the series. I am still hoping for better things for him. As of last week's show he got better.
I wanted him with Sookie also in the series, or at least with Eric.

I checked out the last two books from the library. The rest I borrowed from a friend. I didn't want to buy it as I doubt I'll ever be interested in rereading the entire series.

Depends on what you classify as good. You either love this show or you hate it. It is full of supernatural things and lots of blood, violence, and sex.

Yes JSG, MrsM is correct. It depends on your taste! I love True Blood but it is not for everyone.
