Title: Victor's Lady Song: Lady (edited) Artist: Kenny Rogers Summary: Victor has finally found the lady of his dreams.
I'd been trying to think of a follow-up to "Maggie's Passion" that focused on Victor. It had been a year and was really bugging me, so one day I dug into my CD collection, sorting them into "nopes" (lots of stacks) and "maybes" (only a handful). I was almost to the last CD (isn't that how it always goes) when I saw this song. Hopeful but not quite sure, I played it right away. I was discouraged at the beginning but by the middle I started thinking maybe I could make it work. Then at the end, that second little "ting" clinched it when I immediately thought of Victor hanging on to Maggie's hand as she was leaving.

Released November 29, 2013 Title: Coming Back to Me Song: It's All Coming Back to Me (edited) Artist: Meat Loaf with Marion Raven Summary: Victor's latest action is inexcusable and he basically told Maggie that if she didn't like it then she should get out. So she did and now he's alone, thinking about how much she needs him to hold her right now. Sometime in September of 2013 unavitasegreta and I had several very interesting conversations, one of which was about Maggie saying "Hold me" when she was sad and Victor would ask her if there was anything he could do for her. And then Maggie and Victor had their break-up and a few days later I heard this song (the Celine Dion version) on the radio.

Released December 11, 2013 Title: Can't Help Myself Song: I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch) (edited) Artist: The Supremes Summary: Just in case anyone is confused about the conversation between Maggie and Daniel on the 12/06/2013 episode. unavitasegreta asked me what I thought Maggie meant with that look she gave Daniel. I said Maggie has no intention of letting Victor go and she was going to make him woo her back. I also let her know what hubby said after Maggie walked away: "Maggie, you vixen!" Of course a little video was needed! So I asked unavitasegreta if she wanted to help me by choosing scenes. We had lots of fun putting this together!

Title: Remember How We Danced Song: September Morn (edited) Artist: Neil Diamond Summary: Celebrating Maggie and Victor getting back together during Christmas.
When Maggie's fingers brushed Victor's while she took the box and then the way she looked at him after reading the note, I had tears in my eyes. This video is what I think he might have written to her.

Title: Had to Be You Song: It Had to Be You (edited) Artist: Tony Bennett (feat. Carrie Underwood) Summary: I got bit by the Silly Bug after watching the Valentine's Day episode.
I was working with the Valentine's Day scenes just to see what sort of potential they have. So many moods going on and I think Maggie swinging her shoulder is too cute.

I am enjoying all of your vids, UhSir. I especially like the scenes with Hope and Jennifer trying to talk Maggie out of staying with Victor.

I'm catching up here. Neil Diamond is my all time favorite artist, so I absolutely loved how you used September Morn. I liked the ending with Abby and JJ pointing at Maggie and Victor as they kissed under the mistletoe. It Had to be You is my and my husband's special song! (Sinatra/Harry Connick versions.) You're batting 1,000 UhSir!

"When it's over, can I still come over?" Sounds like Victor!

You're batting 1,000 UhSir! Wow, thank you very much! Something I worry about when I edit a song is that it still sounds good to someone who knows the full song really well. I'm working on getting better at having the videos tell a story, whether it's canon or wishful thinking, and including other people. But sometimes I just want to overload on Magic goodness. "When it's over, can I still come over?" Sounds like Victor! Totally! That was one scene I had in mind before I even started.
