Mimi left Salem after her mother and brother were sent to jail. Her mother, Bonnie, took the rap for Mimi for the death of Mimi's abusive dad.
Cassie and Rex left to move to Chicago. Rex after Mimi aborted their baby, and Cassie went with him.
Celeste left Salem after Lexie died.
I totally think Andre is hiding Tony and EJ!

I wasn't watching at this time infact I wasn't even born yet, but I believe I read somewhere that Julie and Doug were supposed to runaway together, but Doug didn't want Julie to bring her son David with her. That was when Addie swooped in and convinced Doug to elope with her. I have always understood that Doug was not inlove with Addie when they married, but fell in love with her afterwards. Do you know if any of this is correct. Also I believe I read somewhere that Doug and Julie's fling started when she was still married to Scott Banning. Doug came to the Salem because he and Bill Horton were cellmates and Bill had told Doug all about Salem, including about a rich lady, Susan Martin. Susan didn't fall for Doug's con because she was obsessed with Scott Banning but she offered to pay Doug to have an affair with Scott's wife, Julie. Doug agreed but then he fell in love with Julie. They had an affair for quite some time. Julie was about to divorce Scott when her mother, Addie came back to Salem. Addie hated Doug and had him investigated, digging up his con man background and all the other dirt, including his and Julie's affair. She confronted him but he threatened to expose her own dirt so she kept quiet. After some time, Doug and Julie are finalizing, again, her divorce and their wedding plans but they argue because Julie wants to bring her son, 5-year-old David, along on their honeymoon. Meanwhile, Doug and Addie became friends and she asked him to marry her. They ran off and got married. Over time they fell in love but Doug still loved Julie.

Good way to get some history on Kate. I think Nicole left off a few of Kate's crimes, including paying Nicole to marry Lucas, and dragging Chloe into prostitution. Can someone please explain this? When/how did Chloe become a prostitute? I thought she was engaged to Lucas once upon a time. How did the prostitution story come to be? I don't know much about Lucas and Chloe other than they were married and that they broke up because Chloe had an affair with Daniel. She and Daniel then got engaged. Then Carly came to town with Vivian on her heels. Vivian used Chloe to make life miserable for Carly. Vivian had Chloe believing that Daniel slept with Carly. Meanwhile, Philip witnessed Melanie kissing Nathan. Philip got drunk and landed on Chloe's doorstep. They had sex and Chloe ended up pregnant. She didn't know who the daddy was so she secretly had a test done, which revealed the daddy was Daniel. Yay! She and Daniel get married and her life is wonderful. Then, the day of baby Parker's baptism, Caroline unintentionally reveals that she switched the test resutls and Philip is the real daddy. Daniel kicked her out, she got depressed and tried to kill herself. Philip saved her. She tried to turn her life around but met up with a guy named Quinn and ended up drunk. They had sex, which he taped, including him paying her, and then blackmailed her into prostituting for him or else he'd make it public and she'd lose Parker. She later found out that Kate hired Quinn to ruin Chloe because Kate was afraid that Chloe was going to run away with Parker.

Lucas and Chloe were both on the rebound if I remember correctly. Chloe fell for Daniel and was planning to break off her engagement to Lucas. Lucas was badly injured in some kind of accident. Chloe prayed for his recovery and promised God that she would marry Lucas if he survived.

Well, all this doesn't make the prospect of Hope and Aiden sound so hopeless. In fact, Aiden sounds a lot like Doug.

wendylou, great pickup! It would be so great if Julie would acknowledge that or mention it to Hope or be more tolerant of Aiden instead of the knee-jerk reaction we got from her. The writers are in need of a history lesson!

I suspect working for the DiMera's on a plot to murder Hope is where they draw the line. Distracting Hope from searching for Bo wouldn't have been as bad. Plus there's still suspicion hanging over Aiden about his first wife's death. Hope knows the truth but the rest of the world doesn't.
