This morning, I was watching a show that was about the history of my favorite TV program from childhood, Lost in Space. Now I'm dating myself, right?
I was just a little kid, but that and Gilligan's Island were my favorites. One show was about a family marooned in space. The other was about tourists marooned on an island. I guess I liked the castaway theme.
In Lost in Space, I was always waiting for something romantic to happen between Don and Judy, and in the show I was watching this morning, they explained that the producers considered Lost in Space a kids' show and there was to be no touching or kissing. How things have changed.
So what's your favorite show from when you were a kid? It doesn't have to be a kids show per se.

Hmm. What defines when we were kids? Up to age 10? If that's the case, I had a few shows: Jem and the Holograms, My Little Pony, and the Care Bears. I guess my not-so-hidden theme was I had all the toys that went with them. Those shows were so awesome! I just discovered the Hub channel on my dish and they show Jem on the weekends. I made me hubby watch one episode and he laughed at me. But I laughed at me too.

I loved the Brady Bunch, Different Strokes and Silver Spoons. I had a Ricky Schroeder poster in my room. It was replaced by Rob Lowe but I digress. I will have to think about cartoons and see if I can remember. I like this question kpatch!

Remember The Time Tunnel with James Darren? I may have been older then though. Too lazy to look it up.
I will think of some more later... very tired!
