I loved That Girl. It was the original independent single woman TV show, even before Mary Tyler Moore.

When I was a young kid, grade school age, I loved the Dean Martin Show....I'm sure alot of the humor was over my head, but I thought he was just dreamy and funny as heck......I watched with my Dad so Dean Martin has always makes me feel good......I still love listening to his music....one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my entire life was a Johnny Carson show where Dean Martin comes in unannounced and seems to be drinking. Bob Hope and George Gobel were the other guests, as the show goes on, Dean starts putting his ashes (they are all smoking one cigarette right after another) in George Gobels cup, and George is drinking it....the whole show was hilarious....I also liked the Dean Martin Roasts....very funny stuff.....
I too watched Lost in Space....I remember they always showed a preview of next weeks show at the end of the show and when they went from B&W to Color, you were watching the show and then after commercial it came back in color....funny the things we remember....and I always knew Don and Judy were boyfriend and girlfriend when no one was looking...!!!!! Danger Will Robinson Danger....!!!!
I didn't miss an episode of Bewitched........and sort of embarrassed to admit, but I watched The Beverly Hillbillies......my parents watched Bonanza and I had such a crush on Little Joe...!!!! I thought he was almost as cute as Dean Martin...!!!! And remember the original Candid Camera...?? It was sooo darned funny with Alan Funt...!!!! Oh my gosh, there was Get Smart too....!!! And as mentioned before, Gilligan's Island....I loved Maryann and the Professor....and That Girl and I Dream of Genie.....and on and on .........anyway, I could go on forever.......but you can breath a sigh of relief, I won't...!!!! I was quite the tvholic...!!!!
Thanks, I love this post.....has brought back some nice memories of television and family for me..... ;D

I loved Little House on the Prairie. There was a Hanna Barbera cartoon on Sunday morning. It had Huckleberry Hound, Snaggle puss, and yakky duck. I am not sure what it was called. I remember liking Punky Brewster too.

It's funny you mention Snaggle Puss. Kate was wearing something last week that made me think of him.

I vaguely remember watching Family with my Mom. I think I was pretty young and didn't get most of what was going on. I liked Buddy, Kristy MacNichol's character.

The only cartoon that I ever remember liking was Tom & Jerry reruns (until I discovered South Park as an adult, but that's a different type of cartoon altogether). I don't remember ever watching Saturday morning cartoons, that was playtime for me. My favorite childhood shows were all afterschool (while doing homework) and primetime and several have already been named: Beverly Hillbillies (still one of my most favorite shows ever), Gilligan's Island, Happy Days ( I was also a Chachi fan fluffysmom), Dukes of Hazzard (Luke was my favorite), Dallas (my grandmother's show that I loved watching with her - she just called it "J.R."), Mork & Mindy, Fantasy Island .... and on Sunday afternoons it was a tradition for my brothers and dad and I to watch Mid-South Wrestling together.
