I was wondering if maybe Theresa was recast with another actor that the audience might warm up to, then maybe it might improve the character better.

I love Jen Lilley and her playing the role is the best thing about Teresa. The writers need to do their job and tell her story. People like a bad girl as long as they understand why she's bad.
I don't really see her as an unpopular character anyway.

I think JL made things even worse with her interview at the Day of Days event by making some rude comments to the interviewer. I don't know if you got a chance to read it yet. But I think JL better watch her mouth or she will be fired really soon.

I don't like Theresa. I'm fine with her leaving and never coming back. the character has done nothing but seek revenge since she walked into town and there was no reason what so ever given for it. She's just another that expects everything to be handed to her on a silver platter and I strongly dislike people with entitlement issues like that.
As for Jen Lilley - I haven't seen much to impress me and make me like the actress either. Kinda of like new Will. Some of her expressions don't seem to fit the spot she's in at the moment and looks like she's trying too hard. it's not a natural reaction.

I don't know; honestly, pretty much the only thing that works for me about Theresa is JL. She has good chemistry with a lot of her scene partners; and they look like they enjoy working together. I think the larger problem with Theresa is that she doesn't really have a space on canvas apart from being Brady's on-off enabler, which makes her look really weak as a character. If TIIC wrote her something a bit deeper, I think JL is probably capable of more. Does anyone have a link to the interview? Thanks

I liked the interview...I believe she is being very down to earth.

I think Jen Lilley is doing a fine job with her portrayal of Theresa. She seems to be very invested in the character.
I don't think her interview was bad at all.

I'm surprised because at Daytime Royalty there are a lot of people there that are very upset with what she said and they feel like she's forcing them to sympathize with Theresa. So in other words they resent that greatly. For me it was the same old same old but I fear this interview may backfire on her badly and turn people off on her even more.

Again, this isn't Daytime Royalty and not everyone has they same opinion as they do.

I agree. DR has some good posts sometimes but that site has a tendency to be pretty negative, which is why I prefer it here.
