Theresa had a big week. Yes. So taxing. I can’t fully tell you what’s coming up, but I will say that Theresa is unraveling. She puts on such a tough exterior all the time. I think with the baby there’s an explanation where she says, “I really want to be a proper mother to this child.” She wants somebody to love her and she wants to love somebody, and I think that a character that was otherwise unrelatable for a lot of people is going to quickly become relatable. You’re going to see her soften up.
You keep saying that. Is that happening soon? I’m not feeling too sympathetic for her yet. It’s November 10th, and then that tells me a lot about you. Not to be rude. Because there are people that are Team Theresa because they realize that a lot of people are like her where they put on a tough exterior, but if you watch the previews it’s Monday November 10th. I mean, she lost her baby. That’s devastating.
She’s really only referred to the baby as a way to keep Brady so far, though. You’ll see this week, though.
We have heard that Kim is popping up again soon. Can’t say anything. Though I will say I feel like Theresa desperately needs her mother, so I feel like they should give her a contract. I love Patsy Pease.
So Kristen has left with the baby. What does that mean for the story for the next few months? It just means that Theresa is missing something that belongs to her. I can’t say anything other than Theresa’s going to be very relatable. It’s really devastating, and I think that most women can relate on some level. What purer love is there than a mother’s bond with her child? It’s just devastating. She is about to make the bed that she slept in. She put John in a coma, and even though she immediately regretted it...she did the wrong thing. She should have fessed up and served jail time, but that’s not her. That’s not her character. That’s not who she is. I thank the writers that I’m not the writer, because I think she’s a really dynamic interesting character, but she’s got a lot coming to her. She’s kind of very classically going to learn the story of the boy who cried wolf and that when the wolf really comes, no one is listening. So you are going to see her go through a lot. And she has no support, nor should she. Beyond that, I’m not allowed to say. The thing is, we’re six months ahead of time. There’s a buildup. Theresa is hitting her culmination this week. The baby is stolen and now the aftermath starts Monday, November 10th. That’s when it starts unraveling, and there’s nothing that can be done about it. This whole time is going to be about riling up the audience.
Will her relationship with Eve grow more? I think so. That comes with time and is organic with any relationship. She didn’t know Eve. They didn’t grow up together. I think time makes any relationship stronger whether it’s for good or for worse, but I love working with Kassie DePaiva. I think as disgusting as the Eve/JJ storyline is, it’s that trainwreck you want to watch.
