Ok. That's just weird. I don't recall Bo and Philip being very close? Kpatch, you're gonna have to explain!

Yay for a Phloe appearance in the story. I wonder what Bo will say to Philip.

I loved them telling Ciara to come back down when she's 15.

Chapter 13
The Next Day at The Brady Pub
Shane sits in the booth leaning his forehead on his clasped hands when he feels a hand on his shoulder. He looks up. Caroline: You’re worried about her, aren’t you? Shane: Worried doesn’t even begin to describe it. Caroline takes a seat across from Shane. Caroline: She’s a troubled girl. Shane: It’s my fault, Caroline. Kimberly and I — we weren’t the parents she needed us to be. We let her down. Caroline: Don’t do that to yourself, Shane. Guilt will age you fast. Trust me, I know. Shane (sighing heavily): I’ve taken down crime syndicates and engineered coups, ousted heads of state, and saved countless lives. But where Jeannie’s concerned, I’m entirely at a loss. Caroline: I know how you feel. I do. I haven’t always had an ideal relationship with my kids. Kimberly and I were on the outs more times than I can remember. And Bo? He resented me for years. But we got through it, and so will you. Shane: How? How, Caroline? Caroline: Oh I’m just an old lady and I don’t have the answers, but I do have faith. I’ll say a prayer.
Still in the clearing near the bench near the Square
Clyde: In the Ozarks, it’s common for girls to get married at 10 years old. Jordan: We weren’t married. Clyde: Well, maybe not in the eyes of the law. Jordan: Not the eyes of anybody. You told everyone I was your daughter so no one would suspect the filthy things you did to me. Clyde: Seems to me you have a short memory, young lady. I gave you a home, fine clothing…. Jordan: Fine clothing? Seriously? I wore clothes from the Beverly Hillbillies Thrift Shop. Clyde: … And food and shelter and security. Jordan: Security! I never felt less secure in my life than when I was with you. I was constantly scared you were going to kill me. Clyde: Why Tammy Sue, you cut me to the quick. Jordan: When you started beating up on Ollie, that’s when I vowed to leave just as soon as I got enough money together. Clyde: You mean as soon as you stole money from me. Jordan: And I’d do it all over again to protect my brother. Clyde: Don’t you mean your son? Jordan: Stop it! Clyde: I made a promise that I wouldn’t tell Ollie he was our son — yours and mine — for as long as you slept in my bed. Jordan: Did you really expect me to stay with you forever? Clyde: I expect loyalty, young lady! And you were disloyal to me. So now it’s time Ollie learns the truth.
Ben walks up slurping on a strawberry milkshake. Ben: Tell me the truth about what?

LOL at the Beverly Hillbillies thrift shop. I wonder if Clyde will tell Ben the truth.
I liked Caroline and Shane's talk.

Chapter 14
Christmas Day, The Horton Home Living Room
Bo opens the door and Philip enters. Bo: Hey man, thanks for coming. Philip: No problem. You said you needed to talk to me. Bo: Let’s sit down. Philip: So what’s up? You’ve been out of touch for two years. Bo: Yeah and a lot has happened. Philip: Well, that’s to be expected. So what did you want to talk about? Bo starts rifling through some papers on the coffee table. Bo: Hmmm. Not sure. Philip: What do you mean you’re not sure? Bo: I’m not sure what I wanted to talk to you about. Philip: Are you serious? Bo, I came all the way from Chicago on Christmas because you said you needed to see me. Bo: Well don’t blame me. I’m just following this Kpatch script here and it says that you needed to make an appearance in this story. Philip: Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense. You know I’m usually the star of these stories, right? Bo: Don’t let it go to your head. Philip: So, as long as I’m here, tell me, how are things with you and Hope? Bo: Don’t even ask. She’s seeing someone else. Philip: Bull!
In Jennifer’s Bedroom
Jennifer, Julie, Maggie and Melanie are sitting on Jennifer’s bed talking.
Jennifer: I’m glad you all could come for Christmas dinner. I guess I’d better go downstairs and check on the ham. Maggie: Speaking of my son Daniel…. Melanie: So um are you and my dad really over? Jennifer: I’m not really sure. Probably. Maybe. Maybe not. Maggie: I vote for maybe not. I think you should give my son another chance. Julie: I do too. Melanie: Me also. Remember, my dad saved your life. Jennifer: Wait a second. Is this an intervention?

I love them all on Jennifer's bed. I'm also impressed by the restraint you showed in having Philip clothed during his requisite appearance.

Chapter 15
The Horton Home Living Room
Bo: It’s true. Hope is dating this lawyer named Ian Flemming. No, it's Aiden. Aiden Jannings. Jennings. Something like that. Why else do you think I’m staying here at the Horton House? Staying with Jennifer would not be my first choice. Philip: Sorry to hear that, big brother. Anything I can do? Bo: Nah, I doubt it. But … say, as long as you’re here, little brother, why don’t we go see Victor together, have a little Christmas family reunion. Philip: You’ll have to have that reunion without me. I got back together with Chloe, and that means I’m in the doghouse with Dad. Bo: Well, if you’re not going, I’m not going. Philip stands up. Philip: I guess I’d better go. Bo: To Victor’s? Philip: No, back to Chicago. I want to be home when Parker opens his Christmas presents. Bo: Parker?? Wait, he’s Daniel’s son, or did that change too? [Cue dramatic theme music for “When Worlds Collide”] Philip: In Kpatch’s world where I live, Parker is my son. Bo: Well, be sure to give Stephanie my love. Philip: Stephanie? We broke up ages ago. Bo: You did? Where is she? Philip: No one knows. Bo: Then give my love to Melanie. Philip: We’re divorced. I told you. I’m back with Chloe. Bo: I thought you were joking.
Horton House Backyard
Hope: How was your monthlong Thanksgiving cruise, Daddy? Doug: Ah, you’ve been on one cruise, you’ve been on them all. Hope: Are you and Julie still doing the floor show? Doug: But of course! Hope: You never change Daddy. Doug: But you have, haven’t you,? Something’s different. Hope: Well, Daddy, I finally decided to divorce Bo. … Why aren’t you saying anything? Doug: It’s just hard to imagine Hope without Bo. Bo without Hope. Hope: I haven’t had to imagine it. I’ve lived it. Bo deserted us two years ago and now he thinks he can just waltz right back into our lives and pick up where we left off. Doug: Can’t he? Hope: Not this time. Doug: What’s different about this time, princess? Hope: I met someone, Daddy.

See what happens when you're gone for so long, Bo? You lose tracks of your brother's relationship Merry-go-round and of all the paternity changes happening in Salem!
