Chapter 8
In the clearing near the bench near the Square
Jordan: You are not my daddy! Clyde: Just your babydaddy. Jordan: Shut up! I told you never to mention that again. Clyde: Not only am I gonna mention it whenever I like. I’m gonna tell Ollie. Jordan: No! You promised. Clyde: I promised on one condition. And you broke that condition, didn’t you, Tammy Sue?
The Brady Pub
Shane: Pardon? Teresa: Philip Collier. You know, that ass Mom was with when I was little. Shane: Of course I remember him. I’m quite surprised you do. Teresa: Are you kidding me? I’ll never forget him. He used to spank me, and if I cried, he’d spank me some more. So I taught myself not to cry. Shane: Jeannie! Did your mother know? Teresa: I’m not sure. He told me that Mom told him to spank me. Shane: Dammit. I knew something was wrong. I told Kimberly to let you and Andrew come stay with me. Teresa: I know. They only let Andrew go because he was older. Shane: That’s right. Teresa: I said I wanted to go see my daddy in England and Collier told me that Andrew wasn’t really with you. He said Andrew was living in one of those orphanages over there, like in Oliver Twist, and he threatened to send me over there too. Shane: Is that why you said you didn’t want to come see me when I called you. Teresa: I kept hoping, no praying, that you’d come to California and save me, but you never did. Shane: Oh god, Jeannie. (He reached for her hand but she pulled it off the table). Sweetheart, I’m so sorry. I had no idea. Teresa: Of course you had no idea. That’s because you were never around. You spent all your time playing James Bond and saving strangers all over the world, but never me! Teresa puts her head on the table and weeps.

I'm glad Teresa opened up to Shane. No wonder she has so many issues.
Yikes to Clyde and Jordan being Ollie's parents.

Glad we are learning the root of Teresa's troubles.
So, Clyde is a babydaddy, stepdaddy, daddydaddy, Godfather.

So Theresa got spanked as a kid? I really like to know why. I was going to assume that she may have been a real handful as a kid so maybe that's why Philip resorted to corporal punishment to discipline her. But maybe that made things worse. Or maybe he used it as a way to abuse her because some part of him resented her and perhaps he singled her out for whatever reason by sending Andrew away to his dad and leading Theresa to believe that he was in an orphanage and she might end up there too. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Chapter 9
In the clearing near the bench near the Square
Jordan: I stayed with you for 10 years after momma died. Ten torture-filled years. Clyde: Oh come now Tammy Sue. I treated you with tenderness and you know it. Jordan: You disgust me. Clyde: You say that now, but I didn’t hear you complaining while we were… Jordan: Shut your vile mouth! Clyde: Don’t you talk to me that way, young lady. Jordan: You forced me to sleep in your bed from the time I was 11 years old, you pervert.
Hope’s House
There’s a knock at the front door. Aiden, who is wearing a silk robe comes down the stairs.
Aiden (calling to Hope upstairs): Want me to get that? Hope (from upstairs): I’m not dressed. Aiden: Fine, I’ll answer it. (Opening the door.) Yes, can I help you? Bo: Who the hell are you? Hope comes bouncing down the stairs wearing a long silky robe like Aiden’s. She stops in her tracks at the landing. Hope: Brady??? Aiden: No, Hope, this isn’t Brady Black. I think it’s some guy raising money for the Air Force. (Turning back to Bo) Hang on. I’ll get my checkbook. It’s in my pants upstairs. Bo reels back his fist and decks Aiden. Hope: Oh my God! The children come rushing into the living room from the kitchen. Chase: Daddy! Ciara: Daddy!
The Brady Pub
Teresa: Of course you had no idea. That’s because you were never around. You spent all your time playing James Bond and saving strangers all over the world, but never me! Teresa puts her head on the table and weeps. Shane reaches across the table and strokes his daughter’s hair. Shane: Jeannie, I’m so profoundly sorry. Teresa sits up quickly. Teresa: Fat lotta good “sorry” does.

So I'm guessing Aiden & Chase have moved in....who was Ciara referring to when she yelled Daddy???

I have no doubt she saw or heard Bo, but if Hope & Aiden are serious enough to have moved in together, I was wondering if Ciara has also been calling Aiden "Daddy".

mae00, they're not living together at this point. The girls (Hope, Ciara) are merely having a sleepover. So Chase and Ciara were each calling out to their own fathers.

Thanks Kpatch. Was curious about maybe Ciara accepting Aiden as her dad. Would have been a knife through the heart for Bo but I could see her adapting to having a father-figure around after Bo was gone for so long with little contact.
