Since Sami is leaving now, I like to know people's thoughts in who should be the new leading lady of Salem.

NICOLE! I would say Hope, but KA/Hope has been on this show since the 80s. She's had her time as the leading lady for decades. I think it's time to give Nicole that shift that they gave Sami from bad girl to bad girl/good girl and let Theresa and Eve be the "evil" ladies in Salem.

I would say let Theresa Donovan be the new leading lady of the show, let Theresa be the new Sami of the show

I'm fine with Theresa too, but they've got to get her away from Brady. He is not leading man material. It was fine last year when he was opposite ED/Kristen, but the last thing I want is to watch idiotic Brady opposite Theresa every day. She needs a worthy adversary (like Chad!). Brady is dumb and too easily deceived, despite that he's a 40 year old man!

Theresa needs someone who can give/take as good as her. That's why EJ/Sami and EJ/Nicole always worked so well. Both women were as good and as bad as EJ. Brady always turns to drugs when he can't cope. He's not strong enough to fight back. |

The show has been the Sami Brady Hour for so many years that they really would benefit from it being an ensemble, but I just don't think the writers are capable of that. It's either Sami, Sami, Sami or Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. I wish we'd get more balance of Hope, Nicole, and everyone else once Sami is gone. |

I agree with you unavitasegreta. The show was very successful when they had 3 or 4 couples sharing the spotlight. |
