We need some new couples. Who do we have right now? Hope/Aiden are in the works. John/Marlena are apparently reuniting, but I doubt they'll get much focus once he's out of the hospital. Brady/Theresa aren't much of a couple. Ben/Abigail are kinda blah. Jennifer/Daniel are hopefully broken up for good (please!!!!!). Well, darn. Now I'm less excited! LOL.

Eric/Nicole had potential but that was dealt with swiftly.
Hopefully TPTB will now begin to experiment and during that process, find some great couples that keep us on the edge of our seats!

I am hoping for a true ensemble cast - use everybody. When Marlena and John were let go in 2009 there was an uproar but it allowed other little used characters to come to the front. I hope this happens again. Sami will probably return but by then story lines will move forward and new characters will be introduced. It may not be easy to put her back into the mix.

If Abby is the female version of Dr Dan, I will stop watching. Blech. No worries. Mel will be back soon to take over the role of the female version of Dr. Dan! I'm trying to prepare myself for it now and that Ben, Chad, Brady, and all men will be once again captivated by her. |

Jennifer and Hope have already had years of being leading ladies in Salem. I'd like to see Teresa, Nicole and Eve in the spotlight.

I have to agree I don't think the show should have one leading lady, it should go back to being an ensemble. There was a time in the 80's when Marlena, Hope, Kimberly, and Kayla were all on canvas, and all four were leading ladies and Jennifer was the young ingenue.
