Chapter 43

BRADY PUB
Kimberly, Kayla, Eve, Teresa and Anne had been joined by Shane.
SHANE: Love, I'm so sorry for everything you had to go through.
TERESA: It's not entirely your fault.
SHANE: I know. But, I should have been there more for you when you were first having trouble in school.
TERESA: I'm just glad you guys came back. I can't believe you still love me after all the horrible things I've done.
KIMBERLY: Honey, of course we love you. We're you're parents.
TERESA: I need help.
SHANE: We're all here for you, Jeannie. We'll get you whatever kind of help you need. And we do love you. Never question how much we love you.
TERESA: How can you when I don't even love myself?
Shane put his arms around Teresa.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Kate woke up. She had no idea where she was. Then, she heard the voice.
JORDAN: Morning.
Kate looked up and saw Jordan. She attempted to move, only to find that she was strapped down to a table.
KATE: How did I get here?
JORDAN: Funny, you should mention that.

COUNTESS W - FLASHBACK
JORDAN: My real mission is to kill anybody who has ever hurt me or knows the truth about Clyde. And that, Katie, includes you.
KATE: I think not.
Kate flips her desk over and tries to make a run for it.
JORDAN: Not so fast!
Jordan grabbed Kate by the ankle. Kate attempted to leave, but tripped.
JORDAN: Don't worry, Katie. I'm not gonna kill you, yet. I'm gonna have some fun with it, first.
Jordan put a rag over Kate's mouth and held it in place. After a few moments, Kate passed out.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
JORDAN: So, here we are.
KATE: And now what? You're gonna kill me?
JORDAN: Well, no, don't be obvious. I mean, yes, I'm going to kill you eventually. I'm saving it for something special. But first, I have to ask you a question.
Jordan turned on a set of lights. They shone directly on Kate.
JORDAN: How many lights do you see, Kate?
Kate counted all the lights.
KATE: Four.
JORDAN: Wrong. There are five.
Jordan pulled out a remote control and pressed a button. Kate received a small shock.
KATE: What was that for?
JORDAN: You failed to answer the question correctly. Each time you answer incorrectly, you get a shock. And each time, it gets a little worse. Don't worry, though. There's lots of settings. Hence why I said I'm not gonna kill you yet. Now, back to the question. How many lights do you see?

I'm glad Teresa's family is being very supportive.

Looks like Jordan is going to torture Kate for awhile.

Theresa should consider herself very lucky that her family is willing to stand by her even after all of the horrible things she has done. But I guess that's what families are supposed to do. I hope Theresa discovers her own self-worth and goes on the road to recovery and be a better person.

Uh oh! I wonder who's gonna rescue Kate? Jordan looks unhinged.

Chapter 44

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
JORDAN: Come on, Katie. It ain't a hard question. How many lights do you see?
KATE: Four. I mean, it's pretty obvious that there are only four lights up there.
JORDAN: Wrong again.
Jordan pressed a button. Kate got a small shock.
JORDAN: Now let's try it again. How many lights do you see?
KATE: Jordan...Tammy Sue, whatever you want to be called, I am telling you the truth. I only see four lights.
Jordan pushed the button again. Another, slightly stronger shock, hit Kate.
JORDAN: You're lying. You have to be. Either that, or you're very bad at counting. There are five lights.
KATE: Well, I only see four.
Jordan pushed the button again.

DIMERA MANSION
Stefano had just finished telling André about the plan. Rolf walked in.
ROLF: Stefano.
STEFANO: Ah, Dr. Rolf. You have good news, I expect?
ROLF: Indeed. The patient is ready.
STEFANO: Good. Send him in.
E.J. walked in.
E.J.: Father.
Stefano stood up and hugged E.J.
STEFANO: Elvis, my boy. It is good to see you looking so well.
E.J.: You as well, father.
STEFANO: Come. We have much work to do.
Stefano led André and E.J. down to the living room, where Rex, Cassie, Chad and Stan were waiting for them. Stan got up when he saw E.J.
STAN: What the hell?
STEFANO: Calm yourself, Stanmantha. It is all part of the plan.
STAN: No! No way in hell am I having anything to do with that s.o.b. ever again!
Stefano snapped his fingers. Cassie and Rex were on either side of Stan, restraining him.
STEFANO: Take that ridiculous disguise off.
It took some time, but Rex and Cassie eventually got all of the fake skin and hair off to reveal the truth of Stan.
E.J.: Samantha?
SAMI: Let go of me! Let me out of here!
STEFANO: Why would you want to leave, Samantha? We have so many plans for you.
SAMI: I don't want any part in you or your family's plans, Stefano! Not if they involve E.J.
CHAD: Strange. You had no problem being involved in our plans when you asked me to make you Stan again.
SAMI: That was before I knew that you were brining this monster back! I regret everything I did for you! All of you!
ANDRE: Oh, it's too late for that, Sami. We have big plans, some of which even involve you.
STEFANO: But, of course, there may be a few...differences, shall we say. You two, take her down. Rolf will know what to do with her.
SAMI: No! No! Let me go! Let me go!!
Cassie and Rex dragged Sami into the basement of the DiMera Mansion.

Sami, Sami, Sami... What have you gotten yourself into this time???

Chapter 45

CLUB TBD
Lucas walked in and up to the counter.
BEN: What can I get for you, Lucas?
LUCAS: Hot chocolate. But, I'm here mainly for another reason.
BEN: Okay. What's up?
LUCAS: Have you seen my mother recently?
BEN: No. Why would I have seen her?
LUCAS: I just figured that since she's been spending so much time with your father, you might know where she is.
BEN: Nope. The only thing I know about her is that she's made my sister really mad and...oh god.
LUCAS: What? What is it?
BEN: I think I know where Kate is, and Jordan, too.
LUCAS: Really? Where?
BEN: Come with me.
Ben got out from behind the counter and walked away. Lucas followed him.

PARK
J.J. and Paige were sitting on Benchy.
J.J.: So, you remember more stuff now?
PAIGE: Yeah. I finally remember my mom coming to town. And I remember what landed me in the hospital.
J.J.: Anything else?
PAIGE: There's not much else to remember, really. I think I've got almost all of it. The only thing I don't remember is why I was fighting with Mary Beth in the first place.
J.J.: Because she helped set me up.
PAIGE: What do you mean?
J.J. took a deep breath.
J.J.: After we graduated from high school, you and I went to a party. Apparently, sometime before that, Mary Beth and this girl named Jill got together and decided that they would try to set me up. To make it look like I wasn't being faithful to you. Mary Beth pretended to have hurt her arm, and you took her to the hospital. Then, Jill drugged me and took pictures that made it look like we'd slept together. We didn't really, I was totally knocked out from whatever drug she'd put in my drink.
PAIGE: That's what Mary Beth and I were fighting about?
J.J.: Yeah. You found out that I really had been drugged and thought that Mary Beth might have something to do with it. So, you went to confront her.
PAIGE: That makes sense. But, I don't think Mary Beth and this Jill person did this alone.
J.J.: Who do you think helped them?
PAIGE: I don't know. But, I intend to find out.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
JORDAN: I really don't know how you can be so bad at answering this question. The answer is obvious.
KATE: Of course the answer is obvious. That's why I'm answering it correctly.
JORDAN: But, you're not.
KATE: Yes, I am.
Jordan gave Kate another shock. They were getting harder with each level.
JORDAN; How many lights are there?
KATE: F...four.
Another shock.
JORDAN: Wrong again.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
JORDAN: Ignore that. Now, how many lights do you see?
KATE: I...I see four.
JORDAN: How many times? There are five lights!
Jordan gave Kate another shock. The door broke down and in burst Ben and Lucas.

Uh oh... could Eve be busted?

Yay! Lucas and Ben are going to rescue Kate! Awesome!

I hope Jordan doesn't hurt Lucas.

I wonder if Paige and JJ will realize Eve was behind the set up.
