Chapter 1

DIMERA MANSION
It was the day that Chad came home that finally cemented it into her mind. She had been thinking about it for a while now, but knew that now was the time to bring out the big guns.
SAMI: So, you and Stefano have been spending a lot of time together, is that right?
CHAD: Oh, yeah. All kinds of time.
SAMI: So, I'm guessing that that means he told you a bunch of DiMera secrets, right?
Chad sighed.
CHAD: What do you want, Sami?
SAMI: There's a DiMera contact I knew from a few years back, but I seem to have lost touch with him. Any chance you could give him a call?
CHAD: That depends. Which one is it?
Sami walked over to Chad and whispered into his ear.
CHAD: Yeah. Yeah, I think we can arrange something.
SAMI: Excellent. Revenge is gonna be so sweet!

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
This was the day. The day Kayla would be giving John the experimental drug that, hopefully, would bring him out of a coma. Marlena, Teresa, and Brady were in the room, watching.
KAYLA: Now, as I said, there's no guarantee that this will bring him out of it immediately.
TERESA: Or that it'll even work.
Brady and Marlena glared at her.
TERESA: I'm just saying, it's an experimental drug. It hasn't even been tested. Who knows what crazy Kristen's given us?
On the inside, Teresa was panicking.
TERESA (thinking): Oh, god! Oh, god! Oh, god! No! He can't wake up! This can't work!
Kayla injected the drug into John's IV.
KAYLA: Well, we've done all we can do. Now, all there is is to wait.
Soon, the drug began to take effect. Slowly, John's eyes opened.
MARLENA: John?
JOHN: Doc.
Teresa was frozen on the spot. It was most unfortunate for her, too, that that spot just happened to be within John's line of vision.
JOHN: You!

This is a brilliant premise. I love love love it so far. And I love that Daniel was not there to administer the drug to John. I can just picture Teresa and hear the panic-stricken thoughts going through her head.

I can hardly wait for more!

Chapter 2

DIMERA MANSION
There was a knock at the door. Sami opened it.
SAMI: Wow! You're quick! Chad only called you an hour ago.

DEVERAUX HOME
J.J. was sitting on the couch, on the phone.
J.J: Hey Paige. It's me...again. Look, I just want you to talk to me for five minutes. Five minutes, that's all I'm asking. So, please, just call me back.
J.J. hung up the phone and sighed. Abby had been coming down the stairs.
ABBY: Trouble in paradise?
J.J.: Hey, Abs. Yeah, just a stupid fight with Paige.
ABBY: What about?
J.J.: We were at a party, Marybeth hurt her shoulder and had to go, Paige went with her, someone drugged me, and took a picture that made it look like I was getting it on with this girl named Jill.
ABBY: Whoa! You cheated on your girlfriend? That's super low!
J.J.: No, I didn't! I was drugged! I didn't do anything!
ABBY: That's a really poor excuse, J.J.
J.J.: You know, I thought you of all people would try to be supportive of me. Especially after every time I defended you when Sami was slandering your name all over town.
ABBY: That's different.
J.J.: Why? Because it's you, and not me?
ABBY: Exactly.
J.J. put his hands on his head.
J.J.: Oh my god. I do not believe this. You are seriously casting stones at me when I didn't even do anything, and what you did is way worse?

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Teresa was now panicking on the inside, as John's finger pointed straight towards her. She attempted to compose herself. It was not a successful attempt. Everyone looked at Teresa.
MARLENA: What about her, John?
JOHN: i need to talk to Brady. Alone.
KAYLA: Okay. Give me one second to finish checking your vitals, and we'll be out of here.
Kayla checked John's vitals, which seemed perfectly normal. Teresa and Marlena headed for the door.
JOHN: Doc, I want you to stay. You should hear this, too.
Marlena walked back over to the bed as Teresa walked out. Kayla confronted her.
KAYLA: What was all that about?
Meanwhile, inside the room, Brady sat down in a chair by John's bedside.
JOHN: Brady, we need to talk.
BRADY: Okay, Dad. What's going on?
JOHN: I know you think you did this to me, but you didn't.
Marlena gasped.
MARLENA: This all makes sense now.
BRADY: It does? Wait, Dad, if I didn't do this, who did?
JOHN: Teresa.

Oh if only this plays out on the show this way!!

This bit of dialogue is so perfect and so on-target!

You captured Abby perfectly. She is so annoying! Loved JJ's dialogue as well.

This is so fabulous! I love how close to the show's current events you are writing this. That is hard to do, so congratulations Andre!

Chapter 3

DIMERA MANSION
Chad got out his phone and dialed a number.
CHAD: How is the patient?
Pause.
CHAD: Where are you?
Pause.
CHAD: I'll be right down.
Chad hung up the phone and headed for the stairs.

DEVERAUX HOME
ABBY: What I did isn't any worse than what you did.
J.J.: i'm sorry, Abby, but, what reality are you living in?
ABBY: I'm serious! It wasn't!
J.J.: It was, though, because here's the thing: I didn't do anything!
ABBY: I can't believe this! You said you'd never judge me!
J.J.: You said the same about me. And you're not sorry about what you did at all, are you?
ABBY: No. Not one bit. I'd do it again, if I could. I love E.J., and he loves me.
J.J.: That's disgusting!
ABBY: Well, at least I didn't almost go to jail.
JJ.J.: At least I didn't sleep with a married man! You know, all this time, I thought that Sami was going way too far. I mean, sure, what you did was wrong, but you were just misguided, that's all. Now I see the truth. You wanted it every bit as much as E.J., probably more. You're a homewrecker, Abby!

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
TERESA: What was what about?
KAYLA: Why did John point at you minutes after waking up from his coma?
TERESA: No idea.
KAYLA: Teresa.
TERESA: I don't know! He's probably just confused or something!
In the hospital room.
BRADY: Dad, you can't be serious. You must be mistaken.
JOHN: I'm not mistaken. I remember that night very clearly. It was Teresa. She hit me over the head with a fireplace poker.
Brady thought for a moment.
BRADY: That's why she's been acting so nervous. That's why she's been pestering me for information about whether you'll wake up or not. It all makes sense now. Teresa did this to you.

Chapter 4

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Paige was at the main desk, filing papers. When she got to J.J.'s file, she stopped.
PAIGE: Maxine, do you happen to know where Dr. Jonas is?
MAXINE: Daniel? Oh, he's outta town for the next two weeks. And thank goodness for that! I'll tell you, it's like that man never takes the day off.
PAIGE: Okay. Thanks.
Maxine left. Paige looked at the file folder with J.J.'s name on it. She knew what she was about to do was wrong, but she couldn't ask Daniel about it, and she needed to know the truth. Paige opened J.J.'s file and looked at the most recent paper in there.
PAIGE: Roofies?
She quickly put the paper back in the folder and shut it.
PAIGE: No one would intentionally take roofies. But, that would mean...J.J. was telling the truth. He was set up. But, by who?

DIMERA MANSION
Chad entered the basement of the Mansion to find Dr. Rolf.
CHAD: Father told me I'd find you here.
ROLF: I have been here the whole time.
CHAD: So, what was so important that you couldn't tell me over the phone?
ROLF: It's not what I want to tell you, but what I wish to show you.
Rolf led Chad over to a table with a sheet over it. He peeled back the sheet, but only so Chad could see.
CHAD: Excellent progress. So, is the patient ready?
ROLF: Not yet.
CHAD: That's not good enough, Rolf. I need this to be done.
ROLF: And it will be, on schedule. Patience, Chadwick. I just need a few more days,
CHAD: You have until midnight the end of the week.
ROLF: But today is Friday!
CHAD: You'd better get working then, hadn't you?

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
BRADY: I'll be back. I have to go take care of something.
Brady left the room. He was on his way to find Teresa. He didn't have to look very far.
BRADY: Come with me.
Brady led Teresa to an empty room.
TERESA: So...how's your father.
Brady didn't answer. His back was turned.
TERESA: Brady? What did he say?
Brady turned to look at Teresa.
BRADY: How could you, Teresa?
TERESA: How could I what?
BRADY: How could you do that to him?
TERESA: What are you talking about?
BRADY (yelling): Don't play dumb woth me, Teresa! You know what you did!
Teresa gulped and backed herself into a corner.
BRADY: You hit my father over the head with a fireplace poker. Didn't you?
