BO’S OFFICE
Roman rips a piece of paper out of a notepad, makes a paper airplane, and sends it sailing across the room. Then Bo makes another one, then Roman, then Bo ...
Roman: Well that was fun. What now?
Bo: We should make a list of suspects. Get me the white board.
Roman: Good thinking. Wait a sec. What da hell did we do with da white board?
Bo: I don’t know. You had it last.
Roman: Uh uh, little brother. You had it last.
Bo: When was the last time we used the white board? What case were we working on?
Roman: I can’t remember.
Bo: Was it the Trent Robbins murder case?
Roman: I do believe you’re right.
Bo: Where did we put it?
Roman: I can’t remember.
Bo: Well, we need to find it before we do anything else.
Roman: Let’s go look for it.
Bo: Do you think it could be at the pub?
Roman: Not sure, but I think we should definitely look there first.
Bo: And we may as well have a beer while we’re there.
Roman: Lead da way, little brother.
A BOAT IN SALEM RIVER
Nicole and Melanie are sitting on the floor of the lower level of a motorboat. Their hands and feet are tied. Their captor comes downstairs, looks at them, and laughs.
Man: Isn’t this cozy? Misty Circle, Premier Party Girl, and me. Together again for the first time.
Melanie: You’re supposed to be dead.
Nicole [rolls her eyes]: How on earth is it possible that you’re alive?
Man: You know what they say. No rest for the wicked.
Melanie: What are you going to do with us?
Man: Wouldn’t you like to know.
Nicole: Stop playing games, Trent. I know for a fact you’re not smart enough to pull this off by yourself. Who put you up to this? The Dimeras?
Trent: Who?
Melanie: Listen, if it’s money you want, the Kiriakises will pay you. They have lots of money.
Trent: I’m already being paid handsomely, but that’s a good idea, Mel. You were always wise beyond your years. I could get paid by my ... um ... employer ... and get a ransom on top of it. Great idea. Thanks kiddo.
He goes back upstairs to the top deck.
Nicole: Nice going there, Melanie.
Melanie: I guess that means he’s not going to let us go even if Philip pays the ransom.
Nicole: Now you’re catching on.

The last case SPD was the Trent Robbins murder? Geez that was quite a while ago, few years?
Maybe they loaned the blackboard to Glenn Beck!
Now who in the world could Trent be working with? I don't think it is the DiMera's. And how is he still alive? OOh, is Nick involved in all this??

He was the evil man that raised Melanie & he was once married to Nicole. Short & sweet Nick wound up killing him. I am sure someone else can fill in the blanks. |

That also brings up another question: How many marriages has Nicole had and exactly how old is she supposed to be?!? |

thanks for another great chapter kpatch! Can't wait until tomorrow's installment.
Dancing Days: I didn't watch while Trent was on the show neither and don't know much of his back story except that he was a jerk who pimped Melanie out and was married to Nicole.

Trent was Max's Bio Dad. boy I sure did not like him. Lots of people wanted him dead. Even Caroline was arrested at one time for the murder. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Will have to go back and read chapter one again.

I didn't like Trent Robbins either, but I sure do like Roscoe Born. I've never gotten over my crush on Robert Barr (on Santa Barbara) all those years ago.
Great chapter jkjpatch! A nice little mystery along with the comedy = perfect blend!
