I didn't like Trent Robbins either, but I sure do like Roscoe Born. I've never gotten over my crush on Robert Barr (on Santa Barbara) all those years ago. Great chapter jkjpatch! A nice little mystery along with the comedy = perfect blend! I liked him on SB also... |

KIRIAKIS MANSION
Philip: Brady, check this out. It’s a ransom note.
Brady: The kidnapper wants ten million dollars for the safe return of Nicole and Melanie. Wow.
Philip: My brother would tell us you should never meet a kidnapper’s demands.
Brady: Since when does anyone listen to what Austin has to say?
Philip: I wasn’t talking about Austin.
Brady: Since when does anyone listen to what Lucas has to say?
Philip: I wasn’t talking about Lucas.
Brady: Since when does anyone listen to what Rex has to say?
Philip: I wasn’t talking about Rex.
Brady: Since when does anyone listen to what Bo has to say?
Vivian enters the room.
Vivian: Ah, two of my favorite men in the world. Oh dear, you look upset.
Philip: Shut up Vivian.
Vivian: How thoughtless of me. Of course you’re upset. You’re worried about the loves of your life. Lifes. Lives. ... So sorry for all the pain and suffering you must be feeling.
A lightbulb appears over Brady and Philip’s head. Heads.
Brady: What do you know about this, Viv?
Vivian: Me? Why nothing.
Philip: We don’t believe you.
Vivian: Why not? You think that just because I’m seeking revenge against you for leaving me to die in the sarcophagus ... that I would stoop so low as to hurt someone you love in order to hurt you?
Philip lunges at Vivian, but Brady holds him back.
Brady: Not so fast, hot shot. First we have to find out where she’s keeping them, and why she wants us to pay her ten million dollars.
Vivian: Ten million? What on earth are you talking about?
Brady: This. The ransom note.
Vivian takes it and reads it.
Vivian: Why that greedy little weasel.
Philip: Who? Who are you talking about?
Vivian: Oh no one, darling. I just remembered I’m late for my manicure appointment.
She runs off.
NBC STUDIOS
Dorkay: Stop stop stop. Vivian doesn’t “run” off. That’s not her style.
Molly: That’s true. How about, she rushes off?
Dorkay: Nope, not Vivian.
Molly: Sprints? Flies? Speeds? Dashes?
Dorkay: That’s it! Take Two.
KIRIAKIS MANSION
Vivian: Oh no one, darling. I just remembered I’m late for my manicure appointment.
She dashes off.
BRADY PUB
Roman and Bo are playing darts when Bo’s cell phone rings. He looks at the display.
Bo: It’s Philip again. I’ll just let it roll into voicemail and call him back later.
Roman looks at his phone.
Roman: I’ve got a bunch of messages from the station. Oh well. Let’s finish this game of darts. Double or nothing.

Funny, I never realized how many brothers Philip has... ;D I thought the same thing too! It can get a little confusing when you try to straighten out all the folks that are related. I'm really surprised that we haven't had a storyline where realtives get it on. |

I totally forgot that Rex was Philip's brother....via Kate right? She was the parent and Marlena was the surrogate, correct? Love this chapter. Thanks for another great one jkjpatch! I look for ward to Monday's chapter. |

I love Vivian! I can just her picture the look on her face when she reads that ransom note and realizes what Trent is up to. And yes, Kate was a very busy woman - she has a total of 6 biological children, though Lucas and Philip were the only ones she actually raised.... which might explain a lot about both of them. I love Kate! DancingDays, Days did have a story (two actually) of relatives "getting it on". Max Brady is the adopted son of Shawn & Caroline Brady and therefore the uncle of both Stephanie Johnson and Chelsea Brady and he has been involved with both. There was an "almost" between Lucas and Cassie too, but thankfully Rex got there in time to stop his twin and inform her that Kate was their bio-mother rather than Marlena. ghoulgirl, you are correct. Marlena was the forced surrogate for Rex & Cassie who were the biological offspring of Kate & Roman. It was all supposed to have happened during one of the times that Marlena was held captive by the Dimeras... |

What a great chapter. Love all the brothers that Philip has. Love that Viv is shocked at Trent trying to get money out of the kidnapping. Will have to wait for Monday for more. Are we going to get any Previews over the weekend?  Please. |

MondayMelanie and Nicole amuse themselves while in captivity. Vivian gets nowhere with Trent. TuesdayBo and Roman make a surprising find. Trent tells the girls that the end is near. (See also Friday) WednesdayNicole and Melanie are terrified. Roman and Bo find a new diversion. ThursdayBo and Roman stumble onto something. FridayThe end. (I told you it was near.
