It's so good to see Philip and Chloe reunited and happy. I like Philip not being able to keep his hands off Chloe.

I'm hoping Victor and Maggie's all-night buffet got too kinky for them and so they came home early because I do so love Victor's zingers and snark, but my bet is Craig will be waiting for them at the house. He's going to be worried about his girl.

Wow this chapter was really short! Philip's reactions and obsession with Chloe is so realistic to how he would really react! Can't wait to see what will happen when they get back to the mansion!

Chapter 95
A short while later, Philip and Chloe came rushing through the front door, soaked, disheveled, and laughing. The laughter stopped abruptly when they encountered Victor and Maggie in the front hall.
“Dad! What are you doing home?” Philip knew that look and he knew a confrontation was inevitable.
“What am I doing home? I live here, dammit,” Victor said, his voice booming off the walls of the vestibule.
Maggie looked from Victor to Philip to Chloe back to Victor. When she saw Victor’s face reddening, she interjected. “Oh, you know your father.” She laughed nervously. “He just couldn’t get comfortable on the hotel mattress, so he insisted we head back home.” The tension in the room was growing thicker, so Maggie tried to lighten things up a little. “The banquet was truly lovely. You should have been there, Philip. Titan won best e-publisher of the year.”
Philip was about to comment, but Victor cut him off. “You want to know why I came home early,” Victor barked while glaring disdainfully at Chloe. “Something in my gut told me that my son and grandson were in imminent danger and I was obviously right!”
“Nice to see you too, Victor,” Chloe noted with sarcasm. “There are a lot of things I can’t remember, but those infamous Victor Kiriakis put-downs? They’re unforgettable.”
“How very flattering.” Victor placed his hands on his hips and scowled at Chloe. “You wait here. I’ll tell Ben to drive you home. I want you out of this house immediately.”
“Dad, stop it! We talked about this,” Philip said taking a step toward his father, “I told you how I feel, you understood, and we agreed....”
“I agreed to nothing! I will never accept this ... this ....”
Things were about to escalate to ugly heights and Philip knew he had to stop it. “Don’t you dare say it, Dad,” Philip warned, pointing a finger at Victor. “Chloe is your grandson’s mother and the woman I love. You need to be careful how you speak to her.”
“And you need to be careful how you speak to me!” Victor shot back.
Chloe looked at Maggie. “Sorry, I don’t mean to be nosy, but what are you doing here, Maggie? You’re not with ....”
“Him?” Maggie cocked her head in Victor’s direction. “It’s worse than that.” She held up her hand and wiggled her fingers to show Chloe her ring. “We’re married.”
“What??” Chloe practically gasped. She looked at Philip. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Then to Maggie, she said, “He’s blackmailing you, isn’t he? Someone as nice as you would never marry someone like Victor Kiriakis unless....”
Oh great, Philip thought. Just add fuel to the fire. Philip took charge of the situation. He reached for Chloe’s arm and pulled her toward him as he covered her mouth with his hand. He looked at Victor and Maggie. “Sorry to cut this short, but we need to go upstairs and check on Parker. Come on, Chloe.”
Well, that might not have been subtle, but it was effective. Philip took his hand off of her mouth and grabbed her wrist, leading her up the stairs.

I loved Chloe's reaction to Victor and Maggie being married! Victor really needs to lay off Chloe I mean he's made some mistakes and still got to be with the person he loves! Chloe deserves a second chance but I'm happy Philip stopped Chloe from going in on Victor. That would've only made things worse! Great chapter can't wait to read more!

I'm glad that mattress was so uncomfortable that Victor needed to come home (I still think they were at some kinky all-night buffet, but the mattress was a good enough excuse to fool Phillip). I loved Chloe's reaction to the marriage. Thank God that Phillip was quick enough to stop her train of thought! The family drama is fabulous, as always.

I really liked Chloe thinking Victor must have blackmailed Maggie into marrying him.

Chapter 96
At the top of the stairs, Chloe pulled her hand out of Philip’s grip roughly. She was furious. “Philip Kiriakis! You will not shut me up and you will not lead me around by the hand like some weak little girl. I almost forgot how mysogynistic you Kiriakis men can be sometimes. I have to tell you I’m not fond of this side of your personality.”
Philip raised an eyebrow during Chloe’s rant. “Really, because this right here is one of my favorite sides of your personality. I love it when you get all fired up like this.”
Chloe put her hands on her hips. Now she was fuming. If there was anything more infuriating than being belittled, it was being patronized. “Philip! Damn it, I’m serious!”
He was about to defend himself when a better idea occurred to him. He put his hands on Chloe’s face and drew her to him, kissing her.
For a moment, she melted into the kiss, then just as quickly, she pushed him away. She felt nearly dizzy from the day’s highs and lows, all the conflicting emotions she’d been feeling throughout the day. “Philip Kiriakis, you are the most infuriating man I’ve ever known,” she snapped. “Just when I’m ready to hate you ... grrr ....” She sighed and her angry tone softened as she looked into his blue eyes. Oh hell, what’s the use, she wondered to herself, and she finished her sentence. “...you make it impossible for me to stay mad at you.”
Philip held her gaze and a little smirk formed on his lips. “I’ve noticed that.”
Chloe tried not to smile but she couldn’t help herself. With her nose practically touching his, she said softly, “So, you think you can just shut me up with a kiss?”
Philip shrugged and, with a sly smile, he replied, “I thought it was worth a try.”
Now and then, Chloe found Philip irresistible, and this was definitely one of those moments. She hooked her fingers inside the waistband of his pants and nudged him toward her. “It was definitely worth a try. So ... why don’t you try it again, Soldier, but harder this time.”
Without hesitation, Philip wrapped his arms around her and kissed her again.
Chloe laced her fingers together behind Philip’s neck. “I really liked the way you stuck up for me,” she said against Philip’s lips. “It turned me on.”
“Mmm. I have other ways to turn you on, you know,” he said, pulling Chloe flush against him.
“Oh I know,” she murmured.
He started to deepen the kiss until he heard a sound coming from the baby monitor in his pocket. “Mommy.”
Philip leaned away and smiled wryly. “Looks like I’m not the only guy who wants you,” he said.
Chloe warmed at the sound of Philip’s words. They want her. The two most important males in her life want her. “I hate to tell you this, hot stuff,” Chloe joked. “Parker’s needs come ahead of yours now.”
“Never thought I’d be in competition with my own son.” Philip winked and took Chloe’s hand and they walked down the hall to Parker’s room.
