Sonny and Will meet up with Marlena at the pub and ask her to officiate at their wedding. She is honored and touched. First she says no because she's not ordained, but WIll and Sonny have the solution. For $58, she can apply to become a minister online. So she agrees to do it.
Later, Kate is at the pub with Marlena and she is planning to contact the governor and ask him to marry Sonny and Will. Marlena tells her that they have already asked her to do it. Kate gets jealous because she's also Will's grandmother and Marlena jokingly says that Will has always loved her more. She then tells Kate that Will adores her too and they should feel proud to be part of the occasion.

Someone said that Eric's invitation got lost in the mail? I thought he was living at the Brady Pub -- couldn't they just walk it upstairs?
I think Kate does feel she is always second best to Marlena even though Will clearly loves her too.

I think the whole purpose of mentioning Eric's invitation was so that Will could say it was a plus-one invitation and I assume he will bring Nicole. Although, maybe not after the Dannifer pizza party fiasco.
I was happy to hear Marlena ask the men if they'd mind her telling Roman that she was going to be officiating at the wedding. It's nice that someone remembers him.

Roman who?
I have to say, I think it's nice that Marlena is officiating. Though I wonder if it'd have been more dramatic if the choose Eric. I wonder if he'd have declined.

I know they said they wanted Marlena to officiate b/c she meant a lot to Will in his coming out etc. but I think maybe they just wanted to keep her busy officiating to make sure she wasn't in the back getting ready to play someone else's sex tape at THEIR wedding. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Did anyone think about asking Marlena or any officiant if they were available on the chosen date before sending out invitations?
