This story was written a few months ago, but takes place in 2010. It occurs within the same continuity as Better Than Revenge. As such, E.J. is dead and Samantha (Marlena's twin) is alive and in jail for murder. I shall start posting the official story on the 24th (with the possibility of 1 or 2 sneak preview chapters between now and then). But, for now, here are some previews for you to think about while you wait: Previews Shawn-D and Belle Brady - They are the most promising of the young super couples. SHAWN-D: I love you. *Shawn-D and Belle kiss* Or, should I say, were... HOPE: Sweetheart, what's wrong? Now, something has torn them apart... BELLE: I've lost Shawn. (I know I said the story wouldn't start until the 24th, but before I leave for camp, I just had to leave you with the beginning. Here it goes.) Chapter 1 BO & HOPE'S HOUSE Hope was sitting on the couch, reading a book. A knock came on the door. Hope put her book down, got up, and opened the door. She was surprised to see who was on the other side. HOPE: Belle? BELLE: Hi, Mrs. Brady. Belle and Hope hugged. HOPE: Oh! It is so good to see you, dear! BELLE: It's good to see you, too. HOPE: Please, come in. Where's Claire and Shawn? Hope and Belle sat down on the couch. BELLE: Well, I just dropped Claire off with Grandma Caroline. But...um... Hope noticed that Belle looked rather sad. HOPE: Sweetheart, what's wrong? BELLE: It's Shawn. I've lost him. OLD HOUSE At an undisclosed location, in a dark room. We see Shawn-D's body. He is shirtless and clearly unconscious. A hand is slowly caressing him. |
