Sonny tells Victor that he and Will are getting married. Victor is happy for him and cracks a few jokes about Greek weddings. Sonny is not very receptive and Victor can tell he is upset about something. Sonny tells him about Nick -- in general terms. Victor calls Nick a cockroach -- he plays Maggie and she buys it. He tells Sonny that if he needs help with Nick to let him know. Sonny asks if Victor and Maggie will come to the wedding in April. Victor says of course and asks where. No venue yet -- the club or Chez Rouge. Victor offers his house. Sonny is not too sure -- bad karma -- Victor married Vivian there. Victor calls that a youthful indiscretion and he married Maggie there -- it is a happy home. Sonny agrees.

Love this. Can't wait to see it.
So Will and Sonny are getting married before Sami and EJ. Hmm...this makes me wonder if there will be Abby fireworks at their wedding that get I the way of the May wedding.

Thank Goodness!!!! We need to get Uncle Vic and Daddy Stefano in on this. Nick would only amp up the smarminess around and they will then smash him like the annoying bug he is!!

I was hoping/expecting Sonny to say yes, he needs help with Nick, but hopefully this sets up a future opportunity for Victor to squish Nick like a bug.
Sonny was adorable when Victor was dictating where he should and should not get married. Sonny said okay, what would you like us to do. Very diplomatic and respectful. I would like to see these two interact way more often. Makes more sense than Victor interacting with Rafe.

Victor didn't want Sonny to have the wedding at TBD or Chez Rouge. He didn't think it should be at the place where Sonny works and if it was at Chez Rouge Maggie would be running around making sure everything was perfect and her full attention would not be on Victor. Too funny.

Can't argue with that logic. I agree with Uncle Vic.

I too was hoping Sonny would have been more honest about his problems with Nick, however there were two things that occurred to me during Sonny and Victor's conversation.
1-It didn't appear that Sonny even knew how Victor felt about Nick and did not have a full understanding of what Nick had done to get on Victor's bad side & 2- It didn't appear as if Sonny has had a close relationship with Victor. Sonny was acting unsure of how Victor would react about his upcoming nuptials.
I'm glad that Victor extended the offer to help and made Sonny feel comfortable. I think this is one area where Victor would be of more help than Justin.

I hope Sonny takes Victor up on both offers - to get married at the mansion (so much better than TBD or Chez Rouge) and helping control Nick.
I want Will and Sonny's wedding to go well but you know that no big event can go by without drama so I think it would be kind of a good dramatic story to have Nick get shot or murdered at their wedding and then have a big whodunnit. I think someone else mentioned that it seems like he's making a lot of people mad enough that he just may end up dead for real. Also, wasn't there something like that at a wedding at the Kiriakis mansion before? Was it Melanie getting shot at her own wedding?

I think the closest we've seen Victor come to a "youthful indiscretion" was trying to kill Carly, at best he could claim his marriage to Nicole....anything after that was just sheer idiocy!! ;-)
Actually, Sonny has (supposedly) always been close to Victor. In fact, he was more nervous about "coming out" to him than to his parents. I remember him being pretty freaked out, worrying that Victor would disapprove. I think the somewhat awkwardness was that Sonny seems to value Victor's opinion over anyone else's and so actually seeks his approval....kind of like how many of us have acted with our grandparents when we were younger.
