Chapter 1

Set 16 years into the future a certain jet black-haired blue-eyed boy of about 18 years old who is on a stolen motorcycle is seen riding into Salem as he is on the motorcycle riding it really fast as he is trying to evade the Salem PD as they are engaged in a high-speed chase until he manages to lose the Salem PD who were on his tail. The boy on the motorcycle is going even faster but until he sees that a deer is in his way so he tries to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting a dog on the road as the boy crashes the motorcycle as he goes flying into a ditch. The motorcycle is totalled as the boy is lying in a ditch unconscious on the side of the road.


A teenage girl who has brown hair and brown eyes but with a smile and personality to match is on her run as she is jogging on an open road. As soon as she is running on the road she notices a totalled motorcycle nearby and when she does she sees a boy that is not that much older than her lying there in the ditch as she runs over to make sure that the boy is okay. She goes to check his pulse and when she does she sees that he's breathing as his pulse is pretty weak but out of nowhere the boy grabs her arm.

She then says "Are you all right?" The boy then says "I'm fine."


The girl then says "You clearly aren't fine...you crashed your motorcycle and Lord knows just how badly banged up you are!"


The boy then in an arrogant tone says to her "I am fine...can't you just let it go?" The boy then says to her "Judging by your looks I would say that you are used to having everything just handed to you, aren't you?"


The girl then who is offended by what he had to say, says to her "If you want to insult me especially when I am trying my best to help you then I should just leave you here to fend for yourself because maybe if I do that then if you die I won't have your death on my conscience."


The boy then says "I'm sorry I shouldn't have snapped at you...really I am sorry but it is just that I can't risk the cops finding me!"


The girl then says "What did you do that would warrant the Salem PD to come after you?" The boy then said "You know the motorcycle that I crashed...it turns out that the motorcycle wasn't mine...I stole it and then I was in a chase with the cops but I managed to lose them until I crashed it because a stupid dog got in my way."


The girl then of course is shocked that a boy who looks to be about her age could even be in trouble with the cops but the girl is simply attracted to trouble as it comes with her last name DiMera but she is nothing like her family. The girl then asks the boy by saying "So are you from around here?" The boy then says "No but apparently I found out that my whole life has been nothing but a lie...that the parents who I thought were my parents...it turns out that they aren't even my real parents because they told me the truth and needless to say I didn't take the news very well."


The girl then says "That must be rough, it must explain why you would steal a motorcycle and then engage in grand theft auto." The girl then asks the boy by saying "Do you at least know who your biological parents are or even where they live?" The boy then says "Apparently from what my adopted parents told me they told me that my family is apparently from right here, in Salem so it is the reason why I am here to even begin with...because I came here to confront this so called family I never knew I had but as for knowing where they live they wouldn't give me an address."


The boy is still banged up as the girl then helps him up to his feet as he is staggering as she then said to the boy "Well we are going to have to find some way to get you help...we are going to have to get you to the hospital!" The boy then said "No! No hospitals! I honestly hate hospitals!" The girl then said "Well we have to get you help somewhere." The boy then said "Well I am sure you must know this town a whole lot better than me, so princess where are we off to?" The girl then said "First off do not call me princess and second I am trying to help you especially when I could have turned you over to the cops but I didn't and third you should be more grateful that I basically saved your life!"


The boy then said "Okay I am sorry all right and yes I thank you for all you've done...no really but I have to find some way to get out of sight before the cops find me because if they find me I am as good as going to jail!" The girl then thinks to herself saying "Why didn't I think of this before? I can take you to my family's Pub, the Brady Pub and I can hide you there!" The boy then said "Your family owns a pub? I guess it fits into my assumption that you must be rich because if your family owns a pub then why not!" The girl then said "Well the pub is family-owned but it is a restaurant and even if I am rich I don't own it...my Great-Grandma Caroline Brady owns it and no she isn't rich but yes I'm rich because my other side of the family is rich but I'm a Brady!"


The boy then said "Okay but if you are a Brady then who is this other family you are related to?" The girl then said "I'm a DiMera!" The girl then said "Before you go off assuming things yes I am a DiMera of the infamous DiMera crime family because I am sure you have heard stories about either my dad E.J. or my Grandpa Stefano especially if you have read the papers but no I am nothing like them at all!" The girl then said "My mom Sami is a Brady so it would explain why I am a Brady and a DiMera but enough about me...let's just get you to my family's Pub all right...I'll sneak you in through the back!"


The boy then thanks her as he says "Well since you are helping me...I might as well tell you my name so that way we aren't complete strangers...my name is Tyler...Tyler Ryan!" The girl then said "Well Tyler my name is Sydney DiMera!"

Chapter 2

Sydney wanted to make sure that the coast was clear at the Pub and when she realized that the Pub was empty since Caroline closed it for the night and since she had a key to the Pub she let herself and Tyler in through the back making sure that no one would see her and Tyler. Sydney helps a pretty banged up Tyler into the Pub and when she does she says to Tyler "Okay...the coast is clear...no one has any idea that you're here!" Tyler then says "Thank you Sydney not just for finding me when you did but also not going to the cops or anyone else but also for stashing me here in your family's pub but are you sure that no one has any idea I'm here because the last thing I want to do is get you in trouble!"

Sydney then says to Tyler "Being a DiMera...and my mother being Sami Brady I would say trouble is my middle name!" Sydney then tries to go upstairs with Tyler when out of nowhere Caroline shows up from out of nowhere completely surprising Sydney and Tyler

Caroline then says "Sydney Ann DiMera, do you have any idea what time it is? Better yet who is this boy that you have with you?" Sydney then says "Grandma...you scared me...and as for who this boy is Grandma he's a friend!" Caroline then says to Sydney "Does this friend have a name?" Tyler then says "Mrs. Brady...my name is Tyler Ryan and it is nice to meet you but your great-granddaughter here is helping me out!" Caroline then says "Oh Sydney...what have you gotten yourself into? Your friend looks a little worse for wear here...so Sydney Ann start talking!"

Sydney then lies to Caroline but tells a half-truth at the same time as she says to Caroline "Grandma before you assume that I did anything wrong I didn't and my friend Tyler here I found him in a very bad way but long story short I wanted to take him to the hospital but he said that he hates hospitals so I suggested we go to the cops or to his family but he said that he doesn't want to because of what is happening in his own home."

Sydney then asked Caroline saying "Grandma I know it's late but can we talk about this more in the morning? I will promise to tell you the whole story because it is really long and the details let's just say are really long too but can you please let my friend crash in one of the rooms upstairs?" Sydney of course trying to sweet-talk her Great-Grandma Caroline into letting Tyler stay at the Pub in one of the upstairs rooms as Caroline says "Okay your friend Tyler can stay here for however long he needs to but that there are going to be ground rules!"

Tyler then says to Caroline "Thank you Mrs. Brady, really thank you!" Caroline then says "You should really be thanking my great-granddaughter here because if it was not for her I probably would have not let you stay here but now we need to take care of all of these cuts and bruises you have all over!"

Tyler then says to Sydney "Thanks again Sydney for everything!" Sydney then says to Tyler "No problem Tyler but you owe me now!" Caroline then ends up taking Tyler upstairs to help fix him up as Sydney follows them upstairs as Sydney then says to Caroline "Grandma thank you for helping Tyler here but can you please not tell Mom or Dad or Johnny or Allie or anyone else about Tyler being here at least not yet anyway?"

Caroline then says to Sydney "I won't but at the same time I am sure Tyler's parents are going crazy with worry!" Sydney then said "Apparently from what Tyler told me he said his parents aren't even his real parents and that his real parents are right here in Salem and that he came to confront them about why they gave him up for adoption because apparently he has a bad home life!"

Caroline then says to Sydney "I sympathize but then again how much do you really know Tyler?" Sydney then says to Caroline "Honestly Grandma I don't really know him that well...in fact not at all because we met only a couple of hours ago and before you give me a long lecture Grandma can it honestly wait until tomorrow?"

Caroline instead of admonishing Sydney she tells Sydney that they will discuss this later but that she wants her to get home and fast as Sydney then takes her great-grandmother's warning to heart as Sydney leaves the Pub but not before saying good-bye to Caroline and Tyler as she locks up. Meanwhile Caroline goes back to bed going back into her room Tyler meanwhile is in his room and when he is in the room he is lying there on the bed reading everything there is to know about his biological parents as Tyler reads something he took out of his jacket as it is a letter and in the letter it says his biological parents are Miriam Elizabeth "Mimi" Lockhart and Philip Kiriakis

Chapter 3

Meanwhile as soon as Sydney gets home from the Brady Pub she sneaks into her house as she broke her curfew but not before being confronted by her mother Sami who was waiting for her as she says "Sydney Ann DiMera just where have you been? Especially breaking your curfew!" Sydney then lies by saying "Mom before you hyperventilate or worse, I was out with friends watching a movie and I was going to call but my phone died." Sami then says to Sydney "That is no excuse especially to be staying out past curfew but you are definitely grounded."

Sydney says "Oh but Mom!!!!!!!!" Sami then says "No buts Sydney you are grounded and the only places you go to are school and right here!" Sydney then said "So I can't go to Dad's then?" Sydney then says "So are you going to bar me from seeing Dad now?" Sami then said "If your father wants to see you then I am sure he will have no problem seeing you here at the house!" Sydney then said "Oh my God Mom so let me guess I can't go to the Brady Pub either?" Sami then says to Sydney "As for the Brady Pub I don't have a problem with that if only before school but during school or after school then it is definitely out of the question!"

Sydney then said "You know what Mom I'm done with this better yet I'm done with you!" Sydney then storms off to her room slamming the door behind her and as soon as she does Sami instantly regrets that as she is on the phone calling EJ as she says "E.J. it's me and we have to talk...it's about our daughter!"

Meanwhile at the Brady Pub Tyler is reading the letter about his biological parents Philip and Mimi as he then says to himself "Okay now Philip...Mimi...once I find you guys then maybe just maybe I can finally get the answers I have been looking for and maybe just maybe then I can make you pay for giving me away...for throwing me out like yesterday's garbage."

Tyler then afterwards rips up the letter in anger and when he does he goes straight to bed but not before flashing back to meeting Sydney on the side of the road when she found him as he then thinks to himself wondering just who Sydney really was and if she was really the girl of his dreams.

At Sami's apartment in Sydney's bedroom Sydney is on her bed clearly angry about her confrontation that she just had with her mother but not before flashing back to finding Tyler on the side of the road and then meeting him but bringing him back to the Pub as she was wondering to herself about just when she would finally be able to see him again but wanting to know more about this mysterious bad boy who she encountered as she wondered if there was more to Tyler than meets the eye.

I love this concept terry. I'm glad you decided to go ahead and write it.

I am guessing that Caroline doesn't remember Tyler because of the alzheimer's. I would think she might remember him because her daughter Kayla and Steve were taking care of him for a short while. I hope you have a scene with Tyler and Kayla planned. I think that would be awesome.

This is a good story with lots of potential. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Chapter 4

The next morning a 16-year-old Sydney comes out of her room and when she does she is then talking to her older, more popular sister Allie as the blonde-haired blue-eyed Allie pulls her aside saying "I heard you and Mom got into it last night!" Sydney then says "How much did Mom tell you?" An 18-year-old Allie then said "Will you relax Syd, Mom didn't tell me anything...I overheard you guys arguing last night from my bedroom certainly enough to know that when I was your age that I didn't break curfew over friends...you broke curfew because of a guy didn't you?" Allie putting her little sister on the spot as she tries to playfully tease her sister as Sydney then says "Okay Allie since you want to know...yes I did break curfew but if only because the guy I met we met purely by accident!" Allie then said "So Syd...give me more details!"

Sydney then said "Okay well last night when I was on my run the guy I met...I found him on the side of the road okay...he was injured pretty badly and needless to say when I found him it was less than law-abiding all right and that's all I'm going to say about that!"

Allie then said "Well this bad boy who you met...what did he do that was so unlawful?" Sydney then said "Well how do I know that you won't go to Mom and tell her everything or even worse tell Johnny?" Allie then said "Well first of all I won't and second of all it is like you are little Miss Perfect so in Mom's eyes you can do no wrong and thirdly because I know that if I were to tell Johnny he would want to track this guy down and beat the holy hell out of him since he's that overprotective as a big brother!"

Sydney then said "Okay Allie since you won't tell anyone...okay I found this guy on the side of the road lying in a ditch because he got into a crash, he crashed a motorcycle that wasn't his...long story short he stole the motorcycle and he was committing grand theft auto as he was in a chase with the Salem PD but he managed to lose them but needless to say he crashed the motorcycle and that is how I found him. Then when I did find him he was pretty banged up and then I looked to see if he needed any help and of course he didn't want my help at first until I practically guilt-tripped him into it."

Allie then said "Wow so not only is your bad boy of the moment a juvenile delinquent but he managed to escape from the Salem PD managing to escape from Grandpa Roman and the cavalry?" Allie then said "Well if he managed to escape then where is this bad boy now?" Sydney then said "Allie, let's just say my friend he's recovering somewhere!" Allie then said "Where, Syd?" Sydney then said "Fine...Allie you know what my friend he's at the Brady Pub, there you happy?"

Allie then said "Wow so you managed to rope Grandma Caroline into this? This just gets better and better Syd because if she figures out what your friend did then she'll for sure toss him out on his ass if she hasn't already!" Sydney then said "Well Allie Grandma doesn't know the whole story because I lied to her too...well about some parts but some of it was the truth and long story short my friend is only staying at the Pub until he can get himself together!"

Allie then asks her sister by saying "So does this friend of yours have a name?" Sydney then said "His name is Tyler Ryan but as for the rest of his story he said he is in Salem to find his biological parents since he found out his parents which I'm guessing are his adopted parents were lying to him his whole life about who he really is so if he is in town to find them then I am probably the last thing on his mind right now!"

Allie then said "Well maybe I'll be the judge of that because I want to meet him...because if he's at the Pub then I think we should go down there before school and see if your friend is even still at the Pub!" Sydney then said "What about Johnny?" Allie then said "Well from what Mom told me...Johnny is already at school since he left early for hockey practice!" Sydney then said "Well that's one problem averted but what about Ari?" Allie then said "Don't worry Will and Sonny came by before we woke up and got her so what are we waiting for? Are we headed to the Pub or not?" Sydney then said "Okay fine!"

Sydney and Allie then eventually left for school to head to the Brady Pub before heading to school and at the Brady Pub Tyler wakes up from his long sleep and when he does he goes to put on spare clothes that were already in the room and when he does he puts on his black T-shirt, black leather jacket and his boots on and as soon as he heads downstairs Caroline spots Tyler trying to leave

Caroline then asks Tyler by saying "Just where do you think you're going, young man?" Tyler then said "Mrs. Brady, I am going out because I have somewhere I need to be right now!" Caroline then said "Not before you and I get some things straight first...look I let you stay here against my better judgment but I meant what I said about there being ground rules if you were going to stay here!" Tyler then said "Such as?" Caroline then said "Well before you go out in the morning you have to inform me of just where you're going because I caught you trying to sneak out of here...and second if you are going to be staying here then you are going to be working here from now on at the Pub, is that clear?"

Tyler then said "Okay Mrs. Brady well if you want me to start working now then I will!" Caroline then said "No but only after you come back from school!" Tyler then said "Well Mrs. Brady I don't do school because I was kicked out of my school but even before that I got kicked out of plenty of schools before that!" Caroline then said "Well if you are going to be staying here then you are going to be enrolled in school no ifs ands or buts about it, is that clear?" Tyler then said "Okay but first if I am going to be going to school then I'm going to have to talk to my biological parents first!"

Caroline then said "Oh I see so you can't find your parents, is that it?" Tyler then said "Oh believe me Mrs. Brady I know who my real parents are but as for being able to find them no I haven't been able to but I know they definitely live here in Salem!" Caroline then said "Oh would you mind telling me just who your parents are then?"

Tyler then said "Well apparently my mother...my real mother who gave me away like yesterday's garbage giving birth to me and then dumping me off because she couldn't bothered let's see her name is Mimi Lockhart and oh my father he is definitely no prize either...his name is apparently Philip Kiriakis...my name is Tyler Ryan but as you can see I'm a Kiriakis!"

This shocks Caroline into silence as she is stunned that this young man, this boy is none other than Philip and Mimi's son all grown up and that he was the boy that Steve and Kayla would have adopted had it not been for unforeseen circumstances as Sydney and Allie walk in as they overheard Caroline and Tyler's conversation especially the last part with Tyler admitting that he is Philip and Mimi's son as Sydney then said "Oh my God...so you're a Kiriakis? Your father is Philip Kiriakis?" Allie is in shock too as she then asks Tyler saying "Is that true? Are you Philip's son?"

OK I bent my policy about not reading while I am writing a bit...just because who can resist Tyler Kiriakis? LOL You are off to a great start, you have written so much! I love the mental picture Tyler, jet black hair and blue eyes, riding a stolen motorcycle...delicious!

I may have to peek in here from time to time and see what these two kids are up to. So glad you decided to share your story.

Tyler is a bad boy rugged around the edges but underneath it all he is a young man with a chip on his shoulder but meeting Sydney the ultimate good girl, let's just say these 2 will be more and more drawn to each other as time goes on

Chapter 5

Tyler then said "Philip Kiriakis is my father but what is it to you anyway?" Allie then said "Well Philip is my uncle...my dad Lucas is his brother so I guess that makes you my cousin!" Tyler then said "Well it is nice meeting you but who are you anyway?" Sydney then points out that the blonde Tyler is talking to is her sister Allie by saying "Tyler this girl here is my sister Allie Horton!" Tyler then said "Well Sydney you and Allie don't look alike so explain to me just how you guys could be sisters?" Allie then said "Well Tyler, since you are new here, Sydney she is my half-sister, our mother is Sami Brady but my father is Lucas and Sydney's father is E.J. DiMera!"

Tyler then said to Allie "Well Sydney told me that when we met and that besides that I've heard stories about the DiMera family especially from what I have read in newspapers or what I have seen on newscasts but since apparently I'm a Kiriakis I don't know enough about my family anyway except that my father is Philip Kiriakis but I still have to find my mother Mimi Lockhart!"

Allie then said "Well I don't know your mother but your father Philip, my uncle he is a really great guy once you get to know him and if he were to find out that you are looking for him he would want a chance to be your father!" Tyler then said "Well Allie since you are my cousin apparently and we just met...I want nothing to do with Philip at all...yes sure he may be my father...we may share DNA but that is all we share because he lost that right to be my father the moment he chose to put me up for adoption!"

Tyler then says to Caroline "Well Mrs. Brady I just wanted to say I really am grateful that you have let me stay here at the Pub but the only reason why I came to Salem in the first place was to confront my father Philip looking for answers but also to tell him that I want absolutely nothing to do with him or the Kiriakis family in general...I was raised a Ryan and that is how it's going to stay!"

Caroline then says to Tyler "Believe me I understand you not wanting to have anything to do with your father or his family but he will want to know that you're in town!" Tyler then said "No disrespect Mrs. Brady but I don't want him to know that I'm here...well at least not yet anyway but if school is going to come up as a subject then I can call my parents and they can just enroll me into Salem High provided they know I'm being taken care of!" Caroline then said "That's not a problem!"

Allie and Sydney then see that they are going to be late for school as they say "Grandma unfortunately we have to get to school!" Caroline then says "Hopefully you guys can come here after school and maybe show Tyler around town!" Tyler then said "Mrs. Brady I thought that you said that you wanted me to work here at the Pub!"

Tyler then said "Today you get a reprieve but after that then from now on you will be working here provided you still want to stay here at the Pub!" Tyler then said "Yes it beats having to go back home to my parents or it beats living with Mimi or Philip for that matter!"

Allie then said "It was nice meeting you Tyler!" Tyler then said "Likewise Allie!" Sydney then said to Tyler "As for us...we will talk tomorrow since I'm grounded!" Tyler then asks why but Sydney then says "Don't ask!"

Allie and Sydney then eventually end up leaving to go to school and when they do Tyler then leaves the Pub and when he does he ends up walking until he ends up at the Horton Square and when he does he runs into Kayla and Steve who are walking through the square when Tyler accidentally bumps into Kayla and Steve

Chapter 6

Tyler bumps into Steve and Kayla as Tyler apologizes saying "I'm sorry...it was my mistake...I should have watched where I was going!" Steve then says "It's no problem dude!" Kayla then said "Yes it's no problem!" Tyler then is about to walk away when he then asks Steve and Kayla for help by asking them if they know a man by the name of Philip Kiriakis as he says "You two by chance wouldn't know a man by the name of Philip Kiriakis?"

Steve then said "What would an obviously bright young guy like yourself want anything to do with Philip Kiriakis? If I were you...I would steer clear of him!"  Kayla then said "Well what my husband Steve is trying to say here is that Philip and his family are bad news and that you would do well to stay away from them!" Steve then said "Sweetness I think we should just let the kid answer us!"

Tyler then said "I want plenty because let's just say my face to face with Philip Kiriakis is long, long overdue...I'm his son...my name is Tyler Ryan needless to say I was adopted as a baby but Philip is my biological father...I didn't find out the truth that he was my father up until a few weeks ago by reading it in a letter that my adopted parents addressed to me but they didn't think that I would ever see it but needless to say I did and I've been on the warpath ever since!"

Steve and Kayla then instantly remember Tyler from his time as a baby when he was Pocket to them as this obviously brings up good and bad memories for them as they say to Tyler "Well Tyler this may come as a shock to you but we actually know not just Philip but we know you too!"

This shocks Tyler into silence as he asks how by saying "How is it that you two who I simply just met would know anything about me?" Steve then said "Well first off, kid, when you were a baby my wife Sweetness over here well my wife Kayla and I were taking care of you as a baby...we raised you for the first few months of your life until you were taken from us by your father Philip but then needless to say I'm sure your adopted family the Ryans ended up with you but if that hadn't happened we would have raised you...we probably would have adopted you as ours!"

Tyler then said "Wow that is some story...I'm not even sure if I can believe it but if this story is true then I do have to wonder just how different my life would have turned out had I ended up with you guys!"

Kayla then said "We would have given you a good life Tyler...and funny enough our name for you wasn't even Tyler it was Pocket!" Tyler then said "Pocket...wow okay if you guys had given me that name I think I probably would have been made fun of my whole way through school!" Tyler then said "Pardon my manners since I introduced myself, I was wondering if you guys could tell me where I can find Philip because I just want to tell him straight to his face that I want nothing to do with him!"

Steve then said "Well Pocket...I'm sorry...Tyler well if you need a ride to the Kiriakis mansion then me and Kayla over here can drive you over or if you need us for moral support then we can for sure be just that!"

Tyler then said "I appreciate the offer but I think that this is something I need to do alone...I'm sorry I don't even think I know your name!"

Steve then said "I'm Steve Johnson and over here is my wife Kayla Brady Johnson!" Kayla then said "How do you do?"

Tyler then said "Did you say Brady? I think I have met a few Bradys here and there...you guys wouldn't by chance know Caroline Brady, Sydney DiMera, or even Allie Horton?"

Kayla then said "Caroline is my mother...and Sydney and Allie are my great-nieces since their mother Sami is my niece my brother Roman's daughter!"

Tyler then said "Well the reason I asked was because I'm staying in town actually at the Brady Pub!" Kayla then said "Well knowing Ma...she will probably make sure that you're taken care of but since Philip is your father I can just beckon he will want you to stay with him at the Kiriakis Mansion!"

Tyler then said "It will be a cold day in hell when that happens...because I don't just hate Philip Kiriakis...I hate my biological mother Mimi Lockhart too because they basically gave me away because I was just one child too many...almost like they couldn't be bothered to even have me in their life!"

At Salem High, Sydney is at school with her best friend a 16-year-old Parker Jonas as Parker has always had a crush on Sydney ever since they were little but he has never told her just how he really feels about her when Parker sees her staring off into space as he says "Earth to Syd...is anyone there?" as he waves his hands in front of her face as Sydney snaps out of it saying "Parker, did you say something?"

Parker then said "No Syd...but it is clear that something has you distracted...mind wanting to tell me just what that is?" Sydney then said "Well since you are my BFF I will tell you...there is this guy who is staying at the Brady Pub and ever since I met him it is like I can't stop thinking about him!" This clearly hurts Parker's feelings as he then says "Well then Cinderella just who is this lucky guy?" as Parker asks in a sarcastic tone clearly to cover up his hurt

As soon as Tyler ends up leaving the Horton Square he ends up at the Kiriakis Mansion and when he does he is nervous but at the same time clearly angry too as he then says "Well it's now or never!" as Tyler rings the doorbell and when he does the door opens...but just who answers the door?

Philip's nephew Brady Black answers the door and when he does, he then says "Just who are you kid and what are you doing here?" Tyler then said "Is this the Kiriakis residence because from what I was told Philip Kiriakis lives here so are you by chance Philip Kiriakis?"

Brady then said "No I'm not...I'm his nephew actually...I'm Brady Black and if you are looking for my uncle Philip then he is not here...at a Titan business meeting!" Tyler then said "I'll wait then if that's all right!"

Chapter 7

Brady then says to Tyler "I know you're here looking for Philip but I have to ask you just why you're here now or what you could possibly want with Philip?" Tyler then says to Brady "Let's just say this, what I'm doing here, as it relates to Philip, it is personal." Brady then says to Tyler "Just how personal can it be especially if you are here not only in Philip's home but in my family's home?" Tyler then says to Brady "That I actually am family not that it really matters now because I want nothing to do with this family or with Philip in particular for that matter...as for why...let's just say that the truth will come out sooner or later as soon as Philip comes home."

Tyler is not only speaking cryptically to Brady but as soon as Brady takes in what Tyler is saying to him he begins to put 2 and 2 together as he realizes enough to know that Tyler must be a Kiriakis in some way but wonders just how he could be related to Philip in particular. Tyler then starts to ask Brady even more questions by saying "Since Philip won't be here for Lord knows how long, I wanted to ask if Philip is married or if he has any children?"

Brady then says to Tyler "Yes my Uncle Philip is married as a matter of a fact to Melanie Jonas again because they were married once before years ago but they ended up getting married again...that they got married just 5 years ago as a matter of a fact but as for children they have 1 child together...a son...his name is Ethan."

Tyler then says to Brady "This just gets better and better now doesn't it?" Tyler then says "So Philip could have another child without any care in the world never mind the fact that he could have another one out there because from my understanding he had another son, a son who he seemingly could not be bothered with...a son he would just give away just like that without having any care in the world."

Tyler doesn't let on that he is Philip's other son because he doesn't want to give himself away but is also giving Brady hints as to who he is but Brady doesn't seem to be picking up on it as Brady then says to Tyler "Yes Philip did have...does have another son out there but from my understanding that Philip told me that when he gave up his son Tyler that it was one of the hardest things he has ever had to do in his life but that Philip himself even told me that he wasn't ready to be a father so that is why he gave his son up to people who were ready to be parents but he has always wondered what if?"

Tyler then says "That is just an excuse but you know what forget I said anything!" Brady then is rather put off by the things Tyler is saying especially about Philip and just when Brady is about to become more suspicious, his wife Theresa Donovan Black comes home with their 9-year-old daughter Isabella Loretta Black

Theresa is face to face with her husband and this teenage boy, Tyler who is in their living room as she says to Brady "Hi honey...just who is this?" as she looks at Tyler as Brady then says "Well Theresa it seems this kid is here for Philip but as for why, he said all will be revealed!" Theresa also seems put off by Tyler as Isabella says "Mom, Dad I wonder if we can go to the Brady Pub later to see Great-Grandma Caroline? Because she promised me that we would bake cookies."

Theresa then said "Well we'll have to see just what we can do about that okay, Isabella!" Brady then said "Sweetheart, we'll go just as soon as your Great-Grandpa Victor comes home!"

Isabella then goes upstairs as she is really shy around strangers as she takes one look at Tyler before running upstairs as Tyler then asks Theresa "Just how is Caroline Isabella's great-grandmother?" Theresa then said "Caroline Brady is my grandmother, why what is it to you anyway?" Tyler then said "Because I'm actually staying at the Pub and your grandmother has been nothing but great to me but also let's just say a friend brought me to the Brady Pub and I have been staying there ever since." Tyler then of course flashes back to how he and Sydney met when he snaps out of it by saying to Brady and Theresa "As much as I would love to stay and chat with you guys I have decided that I'm going to get going because from the looks of it...it seems Philip is not coming home any time soon."

Just when Tyler is about to leave the Kiriakis living room, Philip comes home with his wife Melanie and their son Ethan as Tyler is finally face to face with the father who gave him away as Philip wonders just who this boy is or better yet why he is even in his home as Tyler has an angry look on his face as if looks could kill.

Meanwhile at Sami's apartment Sydney is in her room thinking about just how she is going to sneak out of her house again just to see Tyler when her mother Sami and her step-father Lucas come into her room to check up on her as she says "Mom...Lucas...just what are you guys doing here? You guys are the last people I want to see right now much less even talk to."

Lucas then says "Well Syd...your mom here has something that she wants to say to you." Lucas then nudges Sami as Sami then says "All right Lucas...I'll say it...Syd maybe I was wrong about going overboard about grounding you the other night and that if you want to go out then you can but as for where you can go out though that will still be limited to only certain places but your curfew is still in effect and if you break it again then your grounding will be even worse the next time!"

Sydney then says "Mom thank you...finally you see reason!" Sami then says "Syd I wouldn't go that far...as for who you should thank...you should be thanking Lucas over here because he was the one who made me see reason!" Sydney then says "Lucas I just want to say thank you!" Lucas then said "Well no thank you needed Sydney...but I have to agree with your mother though on the next time you should break your curfew kiddo!"

Sydney then said "Well I won't...so you don't even have to worry about that!" Lucas and Sami eventually leave Sydney's room to go back to their bedroom and as soon as they do and Sydney closes her bedroom door she is jumping for joy because she finally gets to see the boy of her dreams again, that being Tyler.

Philip then says to Tyler "Just who are you and why are you here in my home?" Tyler then says to Philip "Well Philip Kiriakis let's just say this is long overdue...as for why I am here...I won't leave that up to you to figure out but I will just tell you...I'm Tyler Ryan...but even more so I am your son the son who you gave away to strangers to raise!"

This statement sends Philip for a loop as Brady and Theresa are also looking on in shock and so is Melanie as Philip is shocked that his teenage son has managed to grace himself in his presence as Tyler then said "Well now that I'm here in Salem...I just came by to not only confront you but to tell you right to your face that I want nothing to do with you or your family for that matter!" Tyler of course then leaves in a fury pushing past Philip as he walks right out of that door as Philip is shocked

Wow. Phillip & Melanie are married (again) and have a son. Theresa & Brady are married (yeah!!) and have a daughter and Lucas and Sami are married again!! Can you tell I really love this story! Can't wait to see more interaction between Tyler & Phillip.
