I hope Daniel doesn't tell Phillip that Chloe had nothing to say to him and make Phillip think Chloe doesn't want to see him.

Chapter 13
Sitting in his office at Titan headquarters, Philip felt like he was living in limbo. It was almost three weeks since he sent the paternity tests to the labs. The box said two to three weeks to results. He should be getting them any day.
Meanwhile, he had to endure watching Daniel and Parker’s bond growing stronger while his own time with Parker was limited, Daniel saw to that. He’d steal moments with Parker here and there, when he could. Sometimes, he’d even go into Parker’s bedroom during the night, just to watch him sleep. It gave Philip such a peaceful feeling to watch Parker. It was the only time he felt calm and reassured that things might work out.
As for Chloe, all the phone calls he tried to make to her were blocked. She wasn’t allowed callers yet, they kept telling him. She wasn’t allowed visitors either, except of course for Daniel. Daniel saw Chloe regularly. He heard Daniel talking to Maggie about his visits with her. He said she seemed better the first time he saw her than she did the last time. She was a bit disoriented and her concept of time was off.
Philip was dying to see her for himself. Something inside him told him that Chloe needed him, that if they got to see each other, it would make a huge difference in her progress. That was probably just wishful thinking on his part because he wanted nothing more than to touch her and take away all her pain and anguish, to make everything better, to make things the way they used to be.
But all the money and power and Kiriakis influence couldn’t even get him through the front door of The Oaks. Philip Kiriakis was persona non grata. He just hoped it wouldn’t stay that way forever. Once Chloe started to get better, they would allow him to see her. Wouldn’t they?

Philip's life is in a state of limbo right now. Everything seems out of his control.
I hope Chloe begins to improve soon. Hopefully then she can have more visitors.

Chapter 14
Daniel waited in the solarium for Chloe to arrive, pacing back and forth in front of the wall of windows. He was deeply worried about Chloe. The more often he visited, the less herself she seemed.
He visited just about every other day or as often as his schedule permitted. He felt like he owed it to Chloe to give her reports about Parker. So he took videos of their son with his smartphone and showed them to Chloe. The first few times, she reacted by crying and he wasn’t sure that was good for her. When he asked Paul about it, Paul suggested he curtail the videos. Emotional stability was important to Chloe’s progress.
But Daniel didn’t feel right about cutting Chloe off from seeing Parker. So he decided he’d continue showing her clips, only he’d make them shorter. When he showed them to her the last couple times, she barely reacted at all. She just sort of stared at the screen without emotion, as if her mind were somewhere else entirely.
Paul said the emotional swings were all hallmarks of PNES, that she would make progress and have setbacks. He sure wished he saw more progress. One thing Daniel noticed is that Chloe appeared to be getting very attached to him. She typically held his arm the whole visit and wanted to know when he’d be back before she let go. The thing that surprised Daniel was that he didn’t mind at all. He liked the fact that she needed him because he too was getting more and more attached to Chloe, something he certainly never planned. Maybe Philip was right. Maybe there was something about a female patient that Daniel found weirdly irresistible.
Daniel smiled as the door to the solarium opened and Chloe entered. She ran into his arms and cried, just as she did every time since the first visit.
“Hey hey hey, what’s with the tears?”
“I’m just so happy to see you. You’re my very first visitor,” she said.
Daniel’s brow knit. “Chloe, I come here every other day.”
She tilted her head to one side. “You do? I didn’t remember.”
“Let’s sit,” Daniel said, gesturing to a couple of wicker chairs. “Parker asked me if I was going to see you today. He said tell Mommy I love her. It was the cutest thing. He really said that. ”
Chloe looked at Daniel vacantly. Daniel searched for a reaction but there was none. “Um, do you want me to give him a message for you?”
Chloe thought for a minute. “No. I don’t think so. ... Daniel, I owe you a huge apology.”
“You do?”
“Both you and Jennifer. I’ve had a lot of time to think in the week I’ve been here.”
“Week? Chloe, you’ve been here almost four weeks.”
Chloe blinked as she looked at Daniel. “Four weeks? I guess I’ve lost track of time.”
“That happens to a lot of patients. Both here and at University Hospital.” That may be true, but it distressed Daniel that Chloe was losing track of time, and she didn’t seem to remember that they keep having this exact same conversation over and over every time he visits.
“What’s wrong, Chloe?”
“I ... I can’t remember what I was going to say.”
“You were actually in the middle of apologizing ... about me and Jennifer.”
“Oh right. I hope you two are back together and everything is good between you.”
Even though they discussed this already, Daniel answered Chloe’s questions patiently. “We’re not together anymore, but not because of you.”
“I’m sorry to hear that. Honestly.”
“It’s okay, honey.”
“There’s someone else I want to apologize to. And I’m wondering if you can tell them for me.”
“Um. Okay.” It was like Groundhog Day. Daniel knew what was coming next.
“I’m talking about Nicole. She was my best friend and I treated her hideously. I wish I could take back every awful thing I said to her.”
“I’ll tell her.” Daniel put his hand on top of Chloe’s. “What’s wrong, honey?”
“Is ... is Philip still in Salem?”
“Yes. Why?”
Chloe looked at Daniel. “He doesn’t ever come visit.”
“I know. Your visitors list is still restricted, so ....”
Chloe looked off into space and said, “You know what? It’s okay. I don’t care if he doesn’t visit. Everything that happened to me is his fault anyway. Daniel,” she looked back at him. “Next time you see him, tell him he can go back to Chicago. I don’t want to see him anymore.”
“If that’s what you want, that’s what I’ll do." Daniel would look forward to telling Philip off. "Honey, I know this whole ordeal has been difficult for you, but I want you to hang in there, okay?”
Chloe grabbed Daniel’s arm and leaned her head on his shoulder. “I will as long as you keep visiting.” She lifted her head. “I couldn’t bear it if you left me.”
Daniel wondered what was really going on in her mind. Did she mean ‘left her’ now, or ‘left her’ three years ago? Exactly where was Chloe Lane? “I’m not going anywhere, Chloe. I can’t,” he admitted.
“You can’t? Why not?”
Daniel smiled sweetly at Chloe. “Because ... I care too much ... about you.”
Daniel leaned toward Chloe and kissed her lips softly, recognizing how fragile she was. Despite the force of emotion urging him to deepen the kiss, he let his mouth merely linger on hers, his lips gently caressing hers. He felt himself melting into her, losing himself in her just like the first forbidden kiss they shared when she was engaged to another man. He didn’t want to leave her, not now, not ever.
He finally forced himself to pull away, knowing it was time to go. “I have to leave now,” he said, holding her face in his hands.
“Promise me you’ll be back,” Chloe said.
Daniel leaned his forehead against Chloe’s. “Count on it.” He leaned away from her and looked into her eyes. “I love you, Chloe.”
“I love you too, Daniel.”
He took her in his arms and hugged her tightly. “I’ll see you again very soon, I promise.” He kissed her cheek one more time before he left.

Oh no! Now Chloe doesn't want to see Phillip? I can't help but think someone is brainwashing her and/or drugging her? Could the DiMeras be behind this too? Is it Victor trying to keep her and Phillip apart?

Poor Chloe. She is so out of it. Wondering if she's being overmedicated or if something else is happening. It's disturbing that she doesn't seem interested in news about Parker. Thanks for the bonus chapter Kpatch.

Spring break, sunny day, AND a bonus chapter! Woot!!!
Chloe is waaaayyyyy out of it, and I'm not convinced it's normal for the course of treatment...or that she should be taking this treatment. Where are Craig and Nancy???
