Kate is pure evil. At least the doctor sort of has a conscience.

Kate is twisted. I wonder if part of her is jealous of Chloe. No man has ever loved Kate that deeply that he would do anything for her.
I hope Philip can find a way to help Chloe in time.

I think the doctor should drug Kate, replace Chloe for her and then perform the labotomy on that witch! How evil!

Chapter 30
Philip looked at the clock on his nightstand. Two-thirty. He was hardly sleeping these days. Too much on his mind. The people he loved were too far out of his reach and everything in his life was hurtling out of control like a snowball rolling down the mountainside, picking up speed. He was haunted by his last visit with Chloe. How could he possibly get a good night’s sleep while she was all alone in that hell hole with little hope of getting better.
The answer was, he couldn’t. Chloe and Parker were his family. They were the only things in life that had any meaning to him. He needed to get them back and retake control of his life.
He pulled back the covers and got out of bed, opening the door to his room a crack to make sure no one else was in the hallway. Dressed only in pajama bottoms, he left his room, closing the door behind him, and making the familiar trek down the hall, crossing over to the south wing where Parker and Daniel’s bedrooms were.
He didn’t know if Daniel had come home from his shift yet, so he opened Parker’s door slowly and peeked his head inside, making sure the coast was clear before entering. This had been his routine ever since he got proof from all six labs that he was indeed Parker’s biological father.
Philip made the decision not to tell anyone yet. With Chloe at The Oaks in such bad condition and her release date uncertain, Philip didn’t want to create any more upheaval in Parker’s life. He’d been through too much already. They all had. Besides, Parker was being well cared for and loved and Philip thought it would be selfish to turn everyone’s life upside down again. He didn’t even tell his father, for fear he’d slip and tell Maggie. The news would keep.
He kneeled next to the sleeping boy’s bed and stroked his hair. Just like every night, he had mixed feelings. Part of him wanted Parker to wake up. He wanted to see those big blue eyes, to see Chloe’s smile reflected in their son’s innocent face. Daniel didn’t allow Parker to spend any time alone with Philip. He’d grown pretty paranoid about the whole thing. In a way, Philip understood. He’d probably feel the same way if the shoe were on the other foot.
“Hey big guy,” Philip whispered to Parker, who remained sound asleep. “Want to hear a secret? I’m your dad, Parker. I’m your father and I love you more than anything. It won’t be long before we’re all back together, you, me and your mom, the way it’s supposed to be.”
Philip heard a noise and looked toward the door.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Daniel stood in the doorway waiting for an answer.

Bad timing Philip. This doesn't look good at all. I wonder if Daniel heard what Philip said.

Oh for the love of Pete. Daniel needs to get over this hang-up. Parker needs as many adults in his life who will love and support him as he can get.

Chapter 31
Philip looked at Parker, still sleeping, then he put his index finger to his lips, gesturing for Daniel to be quiet.
“Out,” Daniel said in a loud whisper. “Get out of this room or I’ll call the police.” Philip rose to his feet and walked through the door, carefully closing it behind him. Once in the hallway, Daniel pushed Philip. “Really, Philip? What the hell were you doing in there?”
“Just visiting,” he said, trying to sound as calm and collected as he could while walking down the hall in front of Daniel.
“Visiting? You’re visiting my son in the middle of the freaking night? Tell me, do you do this every time I’m on the late shift at the hospital, or just tonight? Because it looks like I’m going to have to get a restraining order prohibiting you from going anywhere near Parker. And Chloe. Paul told me about your secret visits.”
Philip turned around to face Daniel. “A court order? Are you serious? I’m no danger to either one of them. I love them as much as you do. Probably more.”
“That’s it. That’s the problem right there,” he pushed Philip’s shoulder again. “Downstairs.”
“What about downstairs?”
Daniel walked past Philip and headed for the staircase. He crooked his finger at Philip. “Come on. Let’s go.”
Philip followed Daniel down the stairs, although he really didn’t know why. He assumed Daniel wanted to continue to argue with Philip without waking anyone upstairs.
When he reached the foot of the stairs, Daniel opened the front door. “Let’s go.”
“Go where? It’s the middle of the night in the middle of March. Neither one of us are dressed, and you want to go outside???”
“Are you afraid, Philip?” Daniel pushed Philip’s chest antagonistically.
“Afraid of you?” Philip laughed wryly. “Um, no, I don’t think so.”
Daniel walked out the front door. Philip shook his head from side to side, but followed him outside and onto the front lawn anyway.
“Let’s have this out, once and for all,” Daniel said. “Parker is my son,” he said, pointing to himself. “Do you understand? And Chloe is my woman.”
Philip couldn’t hold his tongue after that statement. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that ... on either count.”
“What the hell does that mean?”
Philip licked his lips, contemplating his response. “It means the tide will turn again, Daniel, so be careful.”
“Me? I need to be careful? Let me tell you something,” Daniel barked. “You’re insane, just like both your mothers. You’re the one who should be institutionalized.”
“You bastard,” Philip said through gritted teeth. “You’re gonna be sorry you said that.”
“Ooh, I’m shaking, brother. Come on. Hit me,” Daniel said. “I dare you.”
“Jerk. Everyone thinks you’re some brilliant doctor. So answer me this. Why aren’t you taking better care of Chloe if you care so much?”
Daniel shouted. “She’s being cared for!”
“Really? Take the blinders off, Daniel. She’s not getting well!”
“Is that so, Dr. Kiriakis? She seems fine to me. Just because she doesn’t remember much about you doesn’t mean she’s not getting better. In fact, the sooner she forgets about you entirely, the faster she’ll get well!”
“Of course,” Philip thumped his forehead with the heel of his palm, pretending he just realized something important. “Why didn’t I see it before? This is all part of your grand plan, then. You want Chloe to become totally dependent on you. It’s how you operate with all your female patients. Your equivalent of a dating service.”
“You pompous son of a bitch.” Daniel bared his teeth at Philip. “That does it!" He rolled up his sleeves. "I’m gonna finish the job I started at Parker’s christening.”
