I love what Freddie Smith said about that letter he got from the guy about telling his grandma.
I like Will and Sonny. I'm happy for them but they still seem young to me. Maybe it can be a long engagement.

They are too young and their age is not even enough factor to make it angst for the story...so BORING! They are just too dull to me...they are like endless love...like syrupy sweet...like Shawn and Belle...just UGH. Where is the soapy passion, where is the intrigue, where are the hidden demons or an ex showing up in town? Unless they get another gay man on the show, they are painted into this happy box that is best reserved for senior citzen characters on soaps. Happiness is for those at the end of their days on the show, not characters at the beginning. It is like Abe and Lexie...they married her off to the lone black man on the show...because she was black too. Then the only shot she had at a real story was when another black character came to town for her to cheat on Abe with.. This went on for years, until fans complained that Lexie cheated too much and she and Abe should be happy...TPTB gladly listened...and you know what happened? Nothing. Lexie became a glorified extra until she could take no more and asked to be killed off the show. I could totally see this happening with Wilson...they are the "token" gay couple, just like Abe and Lexie were the "token" black ones. What needs to happen is that Will and Sonny (well mostly Sonny....he's as one dimensional as the day he started) need to be written as characters first and not as a couple. The days of the supercouple are dead...no need to try to resurrect it for WilSon.
