Not sure if this has been posted, but I didn't see it elsewhere.Justin Gaston Joins DAYS OF OUR LIVES as BenSinger and actor Justin Gaston has joined the cast of NBC daytime drama DAYS OF OUR LIVES in the contract role of Ben, Jordan Ridgeway's (Chrishelle Stause) brother. A casting call from last summer described Ben as "early-to-mid 20s… midwestern or southern (very slight southern accent) country boy. He is utterly charming in his honest sincere approach to life and love. Ben can also sing and/or play the guitar, though it is not necessary." Gaston began shooting scenes in mid-October and will first air on the February 26 episode. The Louisiana native was a contestant on the sixth season of NASHVILLE STAR. Not sure if this has been mentioned but according to SOD:
Justin Gaston will be joining Days of Our Lives this month and will be playing Jordan's brother Ben. First airdate is reported to be February 27th.
If anyone can add to this with pictures and such, that would be awesome.

Google search him. He looks good in underwear. Can't say I am happy about Jordan getting yet another supporting character to add to her boringness.

The show tends to do that and I don't know why. They take characters that we're not overly invested in and add family. They did it so poorly with Rafe's family that they had to kill off one sister and send the brother to Argentina. Betcha Jordan has two more siblings besides Ben.

Because thankfully someone on the show knows incest is not the path to longevity. It is good when new characters get family IMO. A town is filled with all sorts of people. Every soap character was new at some point. Just keep watching and invest in the new...be open to them...soon a decade will past and you will be calling them vets. LOL |

I will take Jordan over Abigail any day of the week...Gaby too.... The show needs to do more with Jordan, the actress is very capable. This guy at least is attractive. That's something. Not hopeful about his acting ability but does it really matter on Days? |

I'm completely open to new characters -- my favorite characters were new once -- but Jordan's storyline has been poorly done so far and, from what I can tell, most viewers are losing interest in her.

I've seen speculation that he could be for Abby. Maybe he and JJ can form a band.  So if this is her brother is that who she was sending the mysterious e-mails to? |

What if he's for Sonny? Or Will? This is what I'm hoping for, especially since he's sharing scenes with Sonny. Is it bad that now that Guy has replaced Chandler, I'm not as invested in Will and Sonny as a couple? |

Well maybe this story isn't great but the next one might be. One of my all time favorite soap characters was a boring golden child, had a teen romance, typical teen storylines, then he was in a car wreck and became brain damaged, complete change in personality and for me he became awesomeness. And he became like THE MAN on the show for years after that. Prime example of one story being dull, but the next going down in soap history. Jordan has not been on long enough to deem her a wash IMO. |
