Anyone doing anything special for Valentine's Day? How about your kiddies? Do they make cards or treats and exchange them with school chums?
There are presents on the hearth all wrapped in red, small boxes from Ron to me. Large boxes from me to Ron. Valentine's Day is on a Friday this year. We will likely go out to dinner the weekend before or after, whichever one is less busy.
My niece's birthday is on Valentine's Day. She hates that.

The kids are on mid-winter break that weekend so I am not sure what we are going to do. I would like to do something but we may be going on a wine tour in March, so that may be our getaway.

Hubby and I don't do anything special. Annabelle's Valentine box for school is going to be Rapunzel's tower. We're going to work on that this week. We will just get some store-bought cards for the class exchange.

Ron brought home flowers for me today.
He's off tomorrow and he's making me dinner and maybe something sweet, like cinnamon buns from scratch.

Sounds yummy Kpatch! He is a keeper! I received a box of salted caramels, with both light and dark chocolate, they are very good! I got my present early because the kids were so excited to give it to me. Liam has a Valentine exchange tomorrow at school! |

I came home a little early & saw chocolate covered strawberries in the frig.. Hmm, I wonder who they are for? LOL

That sounds so yummy and romantic, sportsgirl. Bet those caramels are delicious stickywicket! Ron made us a nice candlelight dinner. No sticky buns though, but that is just as well. He gave me two artisan crafted mixed material bracelets. Very pretty. Attachment Deleted |

Sounds like everyone had a great day!! Hubby took me out both Thursday and Friday for dinner and brought me home roses and a card.
