That's totally bizarre considering Charlotte Ross was tweeting stuff about Days a while back. I thought that's what made everyone start talking about the return of Eve in the first place.
I'd heard about this actress joining Days but some were speculating she'd play Kristen.

Charlotte Ross tweeted that she had to pass on returning to the role because of other commitments. So the show did try to get her back but it didn't work out.
At least, that information makes it sound like TPTB have a story in mind for Eve and aren't just hiring an actress and then trying to find a role for her.

Kassie was really good as Blair on OLTL for years. She plays queen B really well. However she is also 40 something maybe 50....does Days really need yet another woman in this age bracket?

I have a feeling that Eve is Paige's mother. And I think we are about to meet her. I figure she'll walk in on JJ and Paige half naked and making out on the sofa. It's been more than 5 months since we found out that Eve was coming to Salem. This is just my speculation, but I think this is who she will be.
