Nicole confesses her feeling to Eric. She tells him that Vargas and Brady were just her way of running from her feeling for Eric but she has realized that there is no running from how she feels. She is glad that she told him but that it won't change anything. She fades in and out and Eric tries to keep her awake. He spots a breaker and throws his shoes at it with his feet and manages to hit the breaker but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I really liked these scenes again today. Total honesty.
The shoe kicking thing was a bit silly though. It turns out Eric did turn off the air conditioning in the building, which was noticed by one of Daniel's neighbors who gets hot flashes and needs a/c even in January.

That may have been the most honest conversation in Salem ever. Nicole told Eric everything. Did anyone else think that Eric got real quiet while she was talking. It was almost as if he was sorry that she felt the same way about him. Maybe just wistful about something that can never be?

I wish I could believe that they will both remember their conversation/confessions when they wake up, but I know better than to hope for a good outcome with this show.
