Yep she does know.Not sure that's going to make much of a difference,other than Kate wanting Philip and Mel to raise both babies.

I absolutely HATE what Kate is doing to Chloe right now but if she's also trying to squash Melanie in the process then I'm all for it!

Yes she does know... She is using Mel to get Parker away from Chloe. She knows that they stand a better chance of that if Mel & Philip are a couple. Maybe this one will finally have Philip tell his mom to leave his life alone. I have the feeling this one will hurt Philip instead of helping him.

I don't think Kate will ever leave her children's lives alone,lol.That's what gets me though.For a woman who claims to love her kids so much,she treats them like they're stupid and can't run their OWN lives.God forbid one of her boys tells her how she should run HER life.

Finding out about Melanie's pregnancy is what got Kate's evil brain working to begin with. I think that the idea that Philip was getting screwed over once again buy a woman who married him while in love with another man, ala Belle, was reason enough to make her Kate's target of choice in a scheme. Kate and Victor were pretty vicious about getting Claire from Belle. Add to that she could use Melanie's anger and self righteousness to take down Chloe so Philip would not run to her again and bond over their child and it was simply too hard to resist. Kate has been practically foaming at the mouth from the minute she found out that Melanie was pregnant.
