I have noticed something that I seriously can't ignore anymore. I am loathe to cause trouble, and I love this board more than I can say, but can we lay off the gay putdowns please? When we aren't speculating about Will/Sonny, they are just meant as mean spirited jabs at different actors or actresses and really have no place in our conversations. I love everyone here, and I do not mean to put ANYONE down, but this is a subject very close to my heart and it hurts my heart to see these kinds of insults.

I don't know who specifically you are referring to as I have not read anything on here that was a put down, although I've been gone quite alot lately.....however, I did say in a post today and made a suggestion that EJ and Jack displayed traits that could make them a couple......in my opinion, EJ and now Jack, both could easily fit into a gay s/l by their demeanor.....you may not be referring to that, but if you are, let me assure you it is not a put down to gays. I see both the characters with alot of traits that would fit into being gay. That is not a slur or any kind of anti-gay comment. In my world, thinking someone may be gay is not a negative, it is simply an observation. And my world includes gays and straights and in between.......
I'm not sure that limiting a gay discussion or referrance being ok only if about two certain characters (Will/Sonny) is the way to go for better acceptance. However, I truly regret it if I have offended you.......truly......

Maybe I missunderstood then. The only things I see that Jack and EJ have in common is that they are completely straight and complete jerks some, if not all, of the time. I don't see how that makes either of them gay.

I have always seen EJ as rather effeminate.....he dresses that way with the tight suits and the few times we've seen him in "regular" clothes, ahem, like the where's waldo sweater, it seems to scream out......and he moves that way, he's not very masculine in his movements......and Jack is alot like EJ in those same ways from what I can remember from the past......I expect either one of them to break out in show tunes at any moment......
And yes, I make jokes about the subject, but I make jokes about everything I see, I do not discriminate.......I mean, look at Sami's hair today...good grief.....I just comment on what I see......
