JADE HARLOW JOINING "DAYS" CAST IN JANUARY

Jade Harlow is joining the cast of "Days of Our Lives" in January as a possible new love interest for Lucas Horton. No word yet on her character's name, or how exactly she will be connected to Lucas. Harlow's first stint in daytime was as Jessica Bennett on "Passions" from 2000-2003. For the past few years, she has been appearing with many "Days" cast members on the web series "The Bay", where she plays Lianna Ramos. Harlow, 30, was born March 11, 1983 in Las Vegas.

thats great news, thanks for sharing Sportsgirl i remember her she is the Second jessica on passions and the best one imo! a love interrest for lucas that will be wonderful cause lucas needs a good storyline. she will be the third passions cast member to join days..we got luis now Rafe and Ethan now Brady... now jessica i would love it if they brought on Juliet mills Ex Tabitha passions as a new charater on Days.

I don't know this woman at all but I'm glad to hear she may be a love interest for Lucas as I hope that means he'll get more screen time. I'm not as big of a Lucas fan as some one here but I do like him and I definitely think he's under-utilized.

Here are portions of Jade Harlow's posts from Facebook: "Let me just address some rumors floating around the Internet before everyone starts counting their chickens...Flattering as they are I can't confirm any of it. Lauren Koslow and I share a manager and daytime is a small world... A girl can't even say "Happy Thanksgiving" to a friend or even open an account without it taking on a whole other meaning... I'm gobsmacked."

However, her tweet to Koslow only pushed my announcement up by a few days, so it really didn't have that much to do with the timing of the announcement.

An interview Jade did just last week stated that she was working on a top-secret project for January, so don't expect any confirmation from her about her "Days" role just yet: "'I’m going to be hunched over my computer through Thanksgiving,' says Harlow with a sly chuckle as she talks about the many irons she has in the fire. Currently producing her first feature film, as well as working on a top-secret project that will be announced in January, Harlow is excited about the return of The Bay."

I guess we will all find out what that "top-secret" project is in January,

If this does happen, I believe her character may be related to Anne? Don't hold me to that though. Maybe someone has heard something else?

Her character's name is Sheryl, and she'll debut on January 7. She is supposed to be involved with Lucas in a story line.

Another Passions alum...do they just keep all the old cast from that show in the storeroom? And if so can they please dig out Jesse Metcalfe? Okay I know he's on Dallas, but a girl can dream. Days is in serious need for some eye candy.
