Chapter 10

PENTHOUSE
MARLENA: You're back?
JOHN: Yep.
MARLENA: Come inside.
John walked inside the Penthouse and the two sat down. Marlena on a chair, John on the couch.
MARLENA: Where have you been?
JOHN: I know we didn't leave things off on the best foot, but I can explain everything.
MARLENA: I should hope so. Start from the beginning.
JOHN: It was a special mission from the ISA. The last time Shane was here, he roped me into one of these missions.
MARLENA: What was the mission?
JOHN: We were investigating a high-profile high-securitydrug run.
MARLENA: And?
JOHN: Along the way, I got captured by Stefano's goons. But, the ISA didn't want you to worry, so they sent a clone of me home. The clone was supposed to tell Kristen that it was over and you that I would be back soon. But, from what I hear, it got programmed by the wrong person and it didn't exactly tell you that.
MARLENA: Not quite. So, go on. You got captured by one of Stefano's goons.

HOPE & BO'S HOUSE
Hope was sitting on the couch reading a book. Then, the doorbell rang. Hope got up and opened the door.
BO: Honey, I'm home.
HOPE: Bo!
Bo and Hope hugged and pulled each other into a very passionate kiss.
HOPE: Welcome home, Brady.
BO: Good to be back, Fancy Face. Where's my baby girl?
HOPE: It's late. Ciara's sleeping. You'll see her tomorrow.
BO: Sounds good.
HOPE: I am just so happy you're finally home!
BO: Me too, Fancy Face. Me too.

Yay!! Bo!!!

Really makes me miss Bo even more....

Chapter 11

PENTHOUSE
JOHN: So, I was captured my Stefano's goons. But, this wasn't a very smart one. So, I used one of my old ISA tricks.
MARLENA: Which one?
JOHN: I feigned insanity.
MARLENA: And how did that help?
JOHN: Stefano has no use for an insane pawn. Even if he did brainwash me, there's no telling if my mind would respond to it.
MARLENA: And this argument convinced Stefano's men?
JOHN: What can I say? I'm either great at acting insane, or they're very stupid.
MARLENA: So, you telling me it's over between us, that was the clone?
JOHN: Yeah. Doc, are you kidding, I would never say those things to you.
Marlena and John both stood up.
MARLENA: I'm so glad you're home. The real you.
Marlena and John embraced and began passionately kissing. Then, there was a knock at the door. John went and opened it. Eric walked in.
ERIC: John? You're home?
JOHN: That's a fact.
John and Eric shared a "dude hug".
ERIC: Good to see you.
JOHN: Good to see you, too.
Marlena walked over and hugged Eric.
ERIC: Hi, mom. Look, about what I said after the wedding, I'm sorry.
MARLENA: I know.
ERIC: No, I feel really horrible. I shouldn't have said any of that stuff. I know you wouldn't have played that if Victor had told you what was on it. And, I'm sorry.
MARLENA: It's okay. It happened, it's over. Now, what did you want to talk about?
ERIC: Well, you heard about what happened at St. Luke's this evening, right?
JOHN: What happened?
MARLENA: Someone vandalized the altar and trashed the sanctuary.
ERIC: Well, they think I did it.
MARLENA: What?
JOHN: That's crazy!
MARLENA: Why would they think you did it?
ERIC: My fingerprints were found on the scene of the crime.
MARLENA: Well, honey, that's probably from when you were setting up the altar for Saturday mass.
JOHN: After all, you are a priest.
ERIC: Well, you're probably right about the first part. But, you should actually use the past tense. I was a priest.
JOHN: Was?
MARLENA: Do you want to tell us something, Eric?
Eric then went into detail (so John could catch up with the events of the last several months) about what led yo his decision to leave the priesthood.

I am glad Eric apologized to his Mom.. and glad Marlena & John are a couple again.

I hope John and Marlena can help Eric.

Chapter 12

BO & HOPE'S HOUSE
Bo and Hope were sitting downstairs eating breakfast.
HOPE: So, you said you were bringing an old friend home, Who is it?
BO: John's one of them. You'll probably see him sometime today.
HOPE: One of? Who are the others?
BO: You wouldn't believe me if I told you.
Just then, Ciara came running down the stairs.
CIARA: Mommy, I thought I heard...
Then, she saw Bo.
CIARA: Daddy! Your home!
BO: Hey, little one.
Ciara ran into Bo's arms. Bo gave her a big hug and kiss.
CIARA: I missed you, daddy.
BO: I missed you too, princess. But, I'm back now. And I'm not going anywhere.

PENTHOUSE
Across town, John and Marlena were doing the same thing, having breakfast. They were having...yep, you guessed it: strawberries and cream. John was continuing his story from the previous night.
JOHN: So then Bo found me, or I found him, I don't recall which it was, but we found each other. And, we both were ready to come home. But then, I found that Bo had another person with him.
MARLENA: Who?
JOHN: You'll find out tonight.

BRADY PUB
Eric was sitting in one of the booths. Madison entered and walked over to Eric.
MADISON: This seat taken?
ERIC: No. Please, sit.
Madison sat down.
ERIC: How was rehersal?
MADISON: Good. A few more before the tour starts. But, I wanna talk about you. How are you?
ERIC: Honestly, I feel lost.

Looking forward to seeing who else returned with Bo and John. I have an idea of who it is.

Eric must be so lost and confused.

Chapter 13

BRADY PUB
MADISON: Lost? In what way?
ERIC: I don't know. I just feel like a part of me is missing. I was a priest for a long time. Now, I don't know what to do.
Madison took Eric's hand.
MADISON: Let me help you, if I can. I won't always be here in person, but I'll pray for you. And, occasionally, I'll stop by.
ERIC: Thank you, that's nice of you.
MADISON: Maybe you should go to confession. Or pray, ask God to guide you.
ERIC: I will. After tonight's mass, I'll go to confession.
MADISON: St. Luke's has Saturday night mass?
ERIC: Yeah. Sami and my mom go.
MADISON: Can i come with you?
ERIC: Sure. The door's always open. Plus, I'd like that.

OUTSIDE ST. LUKE'S
Several hours later, it was nighttime. Sami, John and Marlena were walking to the church.
JOHN: Do you two smell something?
SAMI: I swear, it wasn't me this time.
JOHN: No, not that. It smells like smoke.
MARLENA: I smell it, too.
SAMI: I hope Eric comes. It sucks he's not a priest anymore, though.
MARLENA: It's also understandable. He's going through a crisis of faith right now.
SAMI: Crisis of faith? What does that even mean?
JOHN: He's confused.
Eric and Madison walked up.
ERIC: Hey, guys.
MARLENA: Hi, Eric.
JOHN: Evening.
SAMI: Hey, Eric.
ERIC: This is Madison, she's a friend of mine. Madison, this is my mom Marlena, My step-dad John, and my sister Sami.
MADISON: Well, I can see why you thought I looked like her when we were younger.
SAMI: What?
JOHN: Guys, are you seeing this?
Everyone turned and looked.
ERIC: There's a fire at the church!
All five ran nearer to the church. A large group of people were already standing in front of the church. They made their way towards the front of the group. Marlena gasped.
SAMI: What the...?
There was indeed a fire, but the church itself wasn't on fire. The fire was on the lawn. And it was in the shape of an inverted pentagram.

Wow! Someone or something truly evil is in Salem and it seems to be targeting Eric.. Hmmm, do I smell a DiMera???

Uh oh. Well at least Madison was with Eric, so they know it wasn't him.
