Haven't watched for several days, but tuned in today to see the imposter Philip portrayed by JPL trying to be Philip.............. He's NOT...... his awful, just making Phillip a caricature rather than a fully realized character. Jay really, really NEEDS to come back as Philip!! Days Corday really needs to court Jay back and give him a more prominent role in storylines than he did when Jay last played Philip!

jaysfan , I ALWAYS think that, every time JPL is on, I compare his performance to what Jay could do with the scene. Even though the scenes with Victor on Tuesday were good, they would have had so much more heart and emotion if Jay was playing Philip. Your description of JPL as a caricature of Philip rather than a fully realized character is brilliant. I continue to hope that Jay's return is the best kept secret in Days history.
