Drake Hogestyn is back !! Drake Hogestyn, who last aired as John in June, returns to the DAYS studio today to begin taping new episodes. Expect the actor to air again in early 2014. In the 8/12 issue of Digest, Executive Producer Ken Corday indicated there was a good chance Hogestyn would be back, adding, "I consider him one of the iconic characters in Salem and someone who can come and go because John Black is a superspy, know all-do all. It is very possible that by the end of the year or the turn of the year, you will see him again." Soap Opera Digest |

I'm kind of with you Minako98. I did like them together at one time but after the way he treated Marlena before he left it would take a lot for me to want them together again. I wonder if he might work with Marlena and Victor to help bring Kristen down now. I wonder if Marlena and Victor will even tell him. If I were Marlena I probably wouldn't. He can get a taste of his own medicine. |

Hopefully Kristen will have been busted by the time he is back on air. It will be awhile until he's onscreen unless he's already been filming for awhile.

I hope they write him better than they had been. I hope so too! I love Drake but I'd prefer to see John smiling and carefree, rather than walking around Salem with a scowl on his face and giving everyone the elevated eyebrow every two seconds. |
