Can't wait to read more. I also hope that Melanie doesn't say anything to Victor and Kate. I also hope she doesn't put up a stink about Phillip helping Chloe look for their son. She knows that Phillip, Chloe and Wesley were happy together before the explosion and Victor and Kate stepped up to the plate.

Philip, Philip, Philip. I know you were brain washed, but you still have your brains. I thought he was jump at Chloe saying our son. I am thinking that he was so busy thinking about planning on going away and what about Mel that he was not really listening to what Chloe was saying at that point. Maybe the next chapter will start with Philip saying hold it what did Chloe just say. I am hoping that Mel helps with finding the baby and Philip will see that he really loves Mel. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Looking forward to tomorrow's chapter. Oh did I mention that I am jelous of your Husband.

MELANIE AND PHILIP’S APARTMENT

Philip: Mel, I need to talk to you about something. But you have to swear to me that you won’t tell anyone. It could be a matter of life and death.
Melanie: Sure, what is it?
Philip: Chloe found out that her son is alive.
Melanie: Oh my god, oh my god. Parker’s alive? That’s incredible! That’s the best news ever.
Philip: I know.
Melanie: Where is he?
Philip: I don’t know. She doesn’t know. It’s a long story, but she needs my help finding him.
Melanie: What??? Why you?
Philip: Well, first off because Daniel has to stay in Salem for his patients. Secondly, I have Marine training.
Melanie: Any other reason?
Philip: I’m pretty familiar with the people who may have taken him.
Melanie: And?
Philip: And ... I’m her friend. Mel, I’m going to have to leave Salem for a little while to help Chloe find the baby.
Melanie: No! No you can’t go.
Philip: Why not?
Melanie: Because ... because you won’t come back.
Philip: It could be dangerous, I agree, but I’ll be fine.
Melanie: I mean, you won’t come back to me.
Philip: Why would you say a thing like that?
Melanie: Because Chloe has a way with men. I’m not sure I even believe her. I think she’s making the whole thing up just to get close to you. She’s going to take you away from me.
Philip: That’s ridiculous.
Melanie: Is it?

Melanie has a flashback to a conversation she had with Brady.
***Flashback***
Brady: Melanie, I have to tell you. I’m disappointed in you. You’re taking advantage of the situation. This is morally and legally wrong. I know it, and you know it too.
***End of Flashback***

Melanie has tears in her eyes.
Melanie: Okay.
Philip: Okay?
Melanie: If Parker ... I mean Wesley ... is alive, you need to find him.
Philip: You’re the best, Mel !

Ok now I am sure that Philip has brain damage. 1st of all Mel was upset saying that Philip would not return to her and then called the baby Wesley. He did not even asked why she called him that instead of Parker. Oh well looks like Mel is not going along to look for Wesley. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. Any previews over the weekend? Just so that we are all on the same page, I want to refresh your memory about the fact that Philip knows the baby's names. This is from Chapter 13 of Another World:

TITAN HEADQUARTERS

Chloe enters Philip’s office and sits down at the chair across from his desk. He sits in the guest chair next to her.
Chloe: You said you needed to see me. Here at your office. What’s this about?
Philip: I know it seems kind of formal, but it’s about business. I ... there’s been a mistake, Chloe.
Chloe: What kind of mistake?
Philip: My life insurance policy.
Chloe’s eyes fill with tears.
Philip: Are you okay?
Chloe shakes her head no.
Philip: What’s the matter?
Chloe: I know your memory is ... isn’t perfect. I know there are things about your past you don’t remember.
Philip: That’s what they tell me.
Chloe: Do you remember that ... I had a baby?
Philip smiles.
Philip: No. I don’t remember that. Congratulations. Boy or girl?
Chloe: Boy.
Philip: What’s his name?
Chloe: His given name was Parker, but we changed it to Wesley. Does any of this sound familiar to you?
Phililp: No. Sorry, it doesn’t.
Chloe reaches in her purse and hesitantly pulls out her iPad and scrolls to a picture. She hands the iPad to Philip. Philip takes it and looks at the screen for a long time before speaking. He rests his forefinger on his lip as he studies the picture.

Philip: He’s a beautiful little boy.
Chloe: He was.
Philip: Was?
Chloe: He died.
Philip instinctively reaches for Chloe’s hand.
Philip: Chloe, I’m so sorry. What happened? Wait, if it’s too difficult to talk about, you don’t have to tell me.
Chloe: He died in a fire.
Philip: I ... I wish I had been there for you. I don’t remember him, but apparently I knew him. I’m in this photo with him.
Chloe: That’s because ...
Philip: Oh, because he was my brother-in-law. Of course. That makes sense.
Chloe: You were also his ... um ... his godfather.
Philip: Ah, now I understand why you were the beneficiary of my life insurance policy. Chloe, this must be so hard on you. When did this happen?
Chloe: A few months ago. Just before his first birthday. I really wish you remembered.
Philip: I wish I did too.
Chloe: You were really crazy about him.
Philip: Funny that Melanie hasn’t mentioned her brother at all. But that could explain why she’s so anxious for us to have a baby. I’ll bet this has been rough on your relationship with Daniel.
Chloe stares at Philip but does not respond.
Chloe: I need to go. I need to leave.
She gets up and rushes out the door.
